A few days ago, a video went viral of an elderly woman in Anambra state’s Federal Housing Estate, Oyi local government area who allegedly pounds small children for ritual purposes in a mortal.
Within the home, which consists of a mortal and a pestle, gallons filled with blood, and many more, so many fetish items were found.
There was a man who, after getting a tip-off from others, led the police to the place where the incident happened; he did his inquiries before embarking on such a journey. An activist, scholar, businessman, and not forgetting a social criticism, Fitex Chukwudum from Okija in Anambra state.
He is the man who on that fateful day burst into the place with the aid of the police. If it was not for his intervention that he knew the fate of the three children who were saved, that day would have been the end of one of the children as blood was seen in a room gushing out of him.
I urge people who are involved in such an evil act to repent of their evil ways, or if they persist in their evil ways, what happened to this old woman would also happen to them.
