The Burial Of Air Force Officers That Died In Abuja Air Crash

Death is unpredictable. It doesn’t know whether you are young or old, tall or short, fat or thin. It comes anytime and can happen to anybody. It hurt so much when Death takes our loved ones untimely.

Last Sunday, News went all over the internet, the death of Air force officers who lost their lives in a plane crash, Beechcraft King Air B359i while travelling to Minna, Niger State. According to reports, the plane crashed close to the runway of the Abuja airport after reporting engine failure and nobody survived.

The officers were buried today at the national military cemetery in Abuja. Both family and friends of the officers who died in that Air Force Plane (NAF) plane crash could not hold back their tears at the burial ceremony.

The names of the victims, who are being buried today, are Flight Lt Haruna Gadzama, Flight Lt. Henry Piyo, Flying Officer Michael Okpara, Warrant Officer Basset Etim, Flight Sgt. Olasunkanmi Olawunmi, Sgt Ugochukwu Oluka and Aircraftman Adewale Johnson.
