A farmer identified as Joshua Gbadamosi has been killed on his farm in Ifira-Akoko, Akoko South East Local Government Area of Ondo State.
The body of the teenage farmer, which was discovered on his farm in the agrarian community, created tension among the people as they accused some herders of committing the crime.
The gruesome killing of Ayeni came a few days after a farmer was also murdered in Uba Oka-Akoko, Akoko South West Local Government.
The deceased, who was from Odoro Quarters of the community, was said to have been killed at the Ogudu Farm Settlement by a suspected herdsman.

According to sources, the assailants brutally macheted the farmer and left his lifeless body on the farm, with his remains discovered when he did not return home.
One of the sources, however, said policemen from Isua Akoko visited the scene of the incident, recovered his body, and deposited it at the mortuary in Ipe-Akoko General Hospital.
While confirming the incident, the police image maker in the state, Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya, said a young man, Farouk Adamu, has been arrested in connection with the incident.
Meanwhile, the Owa of Ogbagi-Akoko, Oba Victor Olasehinde, who also chaired the Akoko Divisional Council of Obas, decried the killings as “callous, wicked, and unacceptable.”
