I hate spending money, I don’t do laundry and I NEVER use toilet paper

A FRUGAL woman who “hates spending money” has revealed her extreme money-saving ways, including never buying toilet paper.

Kate Hashimoto, lives in New York, and has found a way of avoiding paying for almost everything in her life.

Speaking on TLC’s Extreme Cheapskates, she says: “I have lived in New York for three years, although it’s the most expensive city to live in I have found ways to get around it.

“If I have to spend money, I try and avoid it, I will try and pay as little as possible.”

With a budget of just $200 a month in living expenses, Kate finds ways to reuse whatever she can to make her money go further.

“If I am drying my hands in a public bathroom, I am drying off hands that I washed clean so I keep them and reuse them,” she explains.

Kate has never paid money for furniture, and instead sources her stuff from skips and off the street.

She says: “I furnished my place by picking up discarded furniture on the street before the trash picks it up, I have saved a couple of thousand dollars on furniture.”

Her bed is made up of old yoga mats that she has piled up to make a mattress, and she uses magazines as a dining table.

Not wishing to waste money on power, Kate avoids cooking, using her dishwasher and oven as storage space in her apartment.

And while New York may be one of the fashion capitals of the world, Kate has not interest in keeping up with the latest trends.

“I haven’t bought any clothes in eight years,” she explains, “The last time I bought underwear was 1998.”

The clothes that Kate does have get washed in her shower as the thrifty woman hasn’t done laundry for three years.

Perhaps Kate’s most unconventional money saving method is the fact that she refuses to fork out for loo roll.

“I don’t use toilet paper, I just use water and soap to wash myself off,” she explains, though her recycled paper towels also come in handy.

Pregnant schoolgirl stabbed to death by teen boyfriend for not aborting his baby

It was the type of romance that could be found in high schools throughout America.

Aaron Trejo, 16, was a football player and Breana Rouhselang, 17, a cheerleader.

They’d known each other since primary school and then, at Mishawaka High School in Indiana, romance had blossomed during training and matches.

One thing the young pair had in common was sport. Trejo was skilled on the pitch and, as well as being a cheerleader, Breana also managed the school’s football team and excelled at softball and basketball. She had plans to study athletic training in college after graduation.

But unlike typical teenagers, Trejo and Breana hadn’t gushed about each other on social media, and many friends and family didn’t even know they were having a relationship despite the fact they were having sex. It seemed like a casual affair, but it was about to get more serious.

Towards the end of 2018, Breana was distracted. Usually studious, her teachers were noticing that her grades were slipping.

Breana had something on her mind – she’d discovered she was pregnant. Torn about what to do, the teen allowed the weeks to go by before she told Trejo about the baby.

By the time Breana revealed her secret to Trejo, she was six months pregnant and was past the 22-week Indiana state cut-off date to have an abortion – so that wasn’t an option.

Although we can’t be sure what Breana was thinking, it would suggest she wanted the baby to be born.

But Trejo was left reeling. He was annoyed that Breana had left it so late. Neither of them were ready to have a baby and they weren’t even going steady.

Now they faced the most grown-up situation of their lives. They talked on and off about what to do. Adoption was on the table but Trejo wasn’t sure how his family would react to that decision. Trejo spent a week coming up with a solution and arranged to meet Breana to put the plan into action.

On Saturday 8 December, Breana told her mum, Melissa Wallace, that she was going to meet Trejo in an alleyway behind their home. They lived a few roads away from each other.

It was a cold night as she headed out around 11pm. Melissa went to sleep but woke up a couple of hours later and realised that her daughter hadn’t returned.

She hurried to Trejo’s house to find out if Breana was there and he said she hadn’t shown up where they’d planned to meet. Trejo said he’d lost his phone so couldn’t even get any messages from Breana explaining where she’d gone.

Melissa called Breana’s other friends and searched the area before calling the police. In the alleyway where Breana and Trejo had arranged to meet, officers found glasses and a hat with blood on – they belonged to Breana. Concern for her wellbeing escalated. Had she been attacked while waiting for Trejo?

The search widened and there was a devastating discovery. In the early hours of 9 December, the body of a young woman was found in a rubbish bin behind the local Pasquale Rulli Pizza restaurant, just a block away from Breana’s home.

A black plastic rubbish bag covered the victim’s head and upper torso – but when it was removed, investigators knew it was Breana.

The youngster had died from multiple stab wounds and her scarf had been tied tightly around her neck revealing that she had also been strangled before her death. Breana’s unborn baby had died, too.

Naturally, Trejo was identified as a potential suspect and was brought in for questioning. He stuck to the same story that he’d given Melissa – and the police when they’d been searching for Breana. But before long, his story changed and he admitted that he’d killed his pregnant lover.

Trejo admitted that he’d been angry with Breana for waiting too late to tell him about the baby, meaning that abortion wasn’t an option.

Trejo thought about killing her for a week, before arranging to meet her. He took a knife from his family home, because he thought it would kill her quickly, and a black plastic rubbish bag. After stabbing Breana he recalled her body dropping to the ground. Trejo put Breana’s body in a dumpster and threw the knife and Breana’s phone as far as possible into a river.

I took action…” Trejo said. “I took her life.”

Trejo was charged as an adult for the murder of Breana and her unborn baby and he pleaded not guilty. He was heading for a trial.

Meanwhile, memorials quickly grew for Breana. Friends and family remembered her as a sweet, genuine girl who wanted to help others. Breana’s family called her unborn baby Aurora. One victim’s life had ended too soon and the other’s hadn’t even been given the chance to start.

In October 2019, Trejo had a surprise change of plea. He pleaded guilty to murder and feticide – the unlawful killing of an unborn baby. He also agreed to waive his rights to appeal a conviction and sentence.

In January 2020, at the sentencing, Trejo’s lawyers referred to his age and lack of maturity when he committed the act at just 16.

Experts testified to say that the student have felt “trapped” by the situation, which caused repressed anger and hostility. But the extreme violence used by Trejo, now 19, and the planning that went into the kill were hard to ignore.

The prosecution said that most people in the court had been 16 at some point and under pressure and they hadn’t thought about killing someone.

The goal of the defendant in this case was to kill the child and Breana was in the way of that so he killed her in order to accomplish that,” they said.

Trejo took the opportunity to make a statement. “There is no excuse for what I’ve done,” he said. “Saying I’m sorry wouldn’t be enough, but it’s all I can give.”

He appeared to be trying to hold back tears but none fell, which prompted Breana’s family to accuse him of having no remorse. Breana’s mum, Melissa, talked about the devastation of losing her daughter and the granddaughter she never got to meet. She spoke about the sense of failure she felt over being unable to protect them.

“Life goes on but for me it’s put on hold until I see her in heaven,” she said tearfully, adding that the day her daughter’s life ended, hers did too.

Classmates talked about the disbelief of having been to school with Trejo without ever imagining he had the capacity to kill one of their own. And Breana’s dad, David, wearing a picture of his daughter around his neck, pushed for a harsh sentence, saying Trejo had no regret for what he’d done.

Trejo was sentenced to 65 years in prison – 55 for Breana and another 10 for their unborn baby. Two lives had been lost in the attack and that was acknowledged. Loved ones in court were dressed in T-shirts that read “Justice for Bre” and had a picture of Breana on the back. They hugged at the news of the long sentence.

The judge said, “You took her life in one of the most savage and violent manners I have seen in my career.” She reiterated that many teenagers feel the same way about an unplanned pregnancy but they do not commit violent crimes like Trejo had done. It was no justification
for his actions. “You had so many other options,” she told him. Trejo could be in his eighties by the time he’s released.

Outside court, Melissa was relieved – but whatever the outcome, it was never going to be a win for the grieving mother.

“I’m glad we got justice for Bre, but no amount of time will ever replace what he took from me,” she said. “It’s like living a nightmare every day.”

Breana had been ready to face up to her responsibilities and find the best solution for her baby. But Trejo wanted all his problems to quickly go away and when he walked to that meeting place with a knife that fateful night, he was making a devastating decision for them all.

Dwyane Wade Under Fire For Turning His 14-Year-Old Son Into A Girl

Dwyane Tyrone Wade Jr. is an Ex American skilled basketball player. He used the preponderance of his 16-year profession playing for the Miami Heat National Basketball in America.

The Talented young man is blessed with 4 children and married to a talented American actress, activist, and voice artist Gabrielle Monique Union-Wade. Remember the viral baby that is known for her funny facial expressions? She is from this family.

Recently Dwyane Wade posted an interview of his son and Ex-President wife Mechelle Obama, the former First Lady of the United States, I was overwhelmed by his daughter talented answers to the questions, she was bold and talented, I was enjoying it till I decided to scroll through the comment section then discovered that the person I thought was a girl was a boy dressed in a girl outfit

Some people find it annoying that they hard to drag him for turning his young son into a daughter. I believe his father has his reason for taking such a decision for his son, as it is now, once the son grows, he is likely to stick to that which his father has thought him.

I have seen grow up crossdress, but I have never seen a child do it, this is my first time and it’s extraordinary.

Zaya Wayne is a beautiful son whose father is gradually turning into a girl at age 14, he has a verified Instagram page where he posts his photos and some of his daily fun activities.

I don’t think there is any negative comment or blasting that would make this young man change his act of turning his son into a daughter, he has earlier said that there is nothing wrong in calling his son a girl, so people should just mind their business and make him do what he wishes with his son. This is life, we have seen things that are more surprising than this so I’m not surprised.

Here is what she wrote on Twitter;
“When did growing older become an insult???
Like, Nigerians will use everything to insult you.
Don’t go and marry, you can’t keep a man, don’t go and born, keep cruising till you reach 40 like is 40 the deadline???
I’m not understanding.”

In the latter part of her post, the media personality stated that 40 is the new 20, therefore women should be allowed to live on their own terms.

“Everyone will age, 40 is the new 20.
The next time you want to age shame anyone remember that you will age too or do you want to die young???”

Actor Wole Ojo says it’s far better to marry an older woman

Nollywood actor, Wole Ojo has revealed why he prefers to settle down with a much older woman.

According to the thespian, older women tend to have their head on the ground than their younger counterparts.

The actor stated that though he is currently single, older women are the ideal women for him.

Here is what Wole Ojo stated in a recent interview;

Oh, totally. They (older women) seem to have their heads more grounded. They are more mature and more disciplined, but this doesn’t mean you don’t have some young people who have their heads on the shoulder perfectly.

When you look at the majority, most times, people that are older just seem to have their heads more grounded,” he said.

In the latter part of the interview, Wole Ojo revealed that he is single and not searching. He stated that he is focused on his career and legacy as an actor.

Continue reading what he stated;

“I do not believe in taking torchlight and searching for a partner, because that is how many people have gotten into trouble and into relationships that are failing.”

He continued; “I believe in living your best life, doing what you have to do, and when the person comes, it’s going to happen naturally.

“But when you set out a target and say, ‘within two weeks or one month, I’m going to have a partner that I will spend the rest of my life with, I think that adds a lot of unnecessary pressure.

Then you start to consider every person you encounter, and in doing that, you’ll be considering some people that you are not even supposed to be having conversations with, and you put yourself into a messy situation.”

Baba Fryo drags Ajegunle artistes, say they are ungrateful

Baba Fryo was at the peak of his musical career in the late 90s and early 2000s. In a recent interview, the Ajegunle-born Nigerian recording artiste slammed the new generation of Ajegunle singers who he said are ungrateful for the opportunity given to them.

Baba Fryo, real name Friday Igwe gained mainstream attention with his smash hits, ‘Denge Pose’ and ‘Notice Me’.

In a recent interview, the veteran artiste stated that most Ajegunle artistes are not thankful for the platform created for them by much bigger celebrities.

Fryo alongside other Ajegunle-born artistes such as Daddy Showkey, Danfo Drivers, etc. all enjoyed massive success in the early 2000s.

However, they have been unable to replicate the similar success with the current generation.

Baba Fryo had this to say about the budding calibre of artistes emerging from Ajegunle, he said;

“I don’t think that is the main issue.

“To live in Ajegunle is not the issue.

The main thing is to represent wherever you are.

What has those living in Ajegunle done for themselves?”

He continued;

“At least we still have youths who have made a name in Ajegunle and are still living there, how have they made Ajegunle progress?

“Some of us outside are still the ones holding the fort and promoting Ajegunle. I will try my best and see how entertainment will return fully.

The problem of AJ is that some of those young artistes have poisoned the minds of some fans to hate the ones before them.

” If you hate the ones before you, how do you want to progress?

Because those ones paved the way for you. We took Ajegunle to the world.”

The Guy That Was Mistaken For A Mad Man Has Been Identified

Some pictures went viral on social media yesterday where a young guy was spotted in tattered outfit as he begs people for alms on the road. Some people thought the guy was a mad man and many people pitied it for his condition. He became the cynosure of eyes yesterday and people could not stop talking about him. Some people were totally confused because the guy looks so much like he was mad but after so many findings, I have finally identified who this young man is and the actual reason why he pulled that public stunt.

This young man goes by the name ‘Onyeka Crecentz’ on his Facebook profile and he is an undergraduate student of Federal Polytechnic Oko. There is a tradition in almost all higher institutions in Nigeria knonw as ‘Rag Day’. It is done in many Nigerian Universities, Colleges and Polytechnics. Students dress in hilarious way and sometimes like someone who has mental disorder and storm the street begging for alms. The main purpose behind this Rag Day is to gather money and then, use the money to assist the less-privileged including those with Mental or Physical Challenges.

The Students of Federal Polytechnic Oko had their ‘Students Week’ which included different activities like Rag Day, Cultural Day amongst others. During their rag day, a particular student stood out of others as he literally took his own ragging to a different level that made people find it hard to tell if he is a mad man or just a costume.

The costume looks so convincing on him that it resulted into argument between many people and some still can’t believe that he is not mad but, in case you have been involved in such argument or convinced otherwise, the truth you should know is that the young man is sound and healthy. He is the Sports Director in his school and there is nothing wrong with him.

The young man participated in the Rag Day for the fun of it. No matter how convincing the costume looks on him, the man is not a mad man. He has now become a viral sensation and many people are talking about him on social media. He truly took his own ragging to a different level and it wowed so many people.

A teenage girl, (names withheld), on Friday narrated to an Akure High Court how her classmate lured her to her uncle’s house who struggled to remove her pants and had his way with her.

She and two others were victims of the suspect who the police hauled before Justice Olutoyin Akeredolu.

The suspect has allegdly been sleeping with his niece for a long time and succeeded in convincing her to bring over her friends so he could do same.

Prosecution witness told the court that he often gave the girls N100 after sleeping with them.

The bubble burst when the girls started fighting over the money he gave one of them.

The matter was reported to school authorities and on investigation, facts emerged.

One of the victims in a written statement narrated how the suspect forced himself on her, pulled off her pants, slept with her and after “something like water came out which he used red cloth to clean up”, gave her N100 and warned her not to tell her parents or she will die.

He met his biological father for the first time in 17years

Regardless of the circumstance or problem at hand, the bond between father and son is deep and can never be broken. I saw a family where there was a disagreement, and the woman decided to pack her things and leave her husband’s house with their children. They (children) returned after a long time to look for their father, leaving behind any grudges they had against him. Though this is just an example of what a blood bond can do.

A young man was overjoyed to the point of sharing pictures of his biological father on Twitter after several years of not seeing each other.

He said that his father couldn’t even look him in the eyes, probably the old man was thinking he had done something wrong by not staying for his son at the time.

He went on to say that his 74-year-old father was worried he wouldn’t came to meet him, but he relied on faith to reach him at the venue.
