Nigerian and KRC Genk striker Tolu Arokodare has earned a spot in the Belgian Pro League Team of the Season.
The selection was made using a blend of Opta performance data and votes from fellow players, highlighting the Nigeria international’s standout contributions throughout the campaign.
Arokodare lit up the league with 21 goals and six assists in 40 appearances for the Smurfs, a performance that saw him claim both the Golden Boot and the prestigious Ebony Shoe award, given to Belgium’s best African player.
The 26-year-old joins Royal Antwerp’s Tjaronn Chery and Christos Tzolis of Club Brugge as the selected forwards in the team.
