Nigerian singer, Abbey Toyyib Elias also known as Skiibii has spoken on how the roles of money and love in relationships are intertwined.

The ‘Baddest Boy’ hit-maker opined that the existence of wealth gives a relationship a stronger foundation.

According to Skiibii, though money does the work of making a relationship stronger, love ends up getting all the credit.

He made the assertion in a post on his official Twitter page, and it sparked mixed reactions from netizens.

Actress Tonto Dikeh unapologetic about losing out in love

Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh has stated that she has no regrets about expressing sincere love towards her ex-partners who never loved her the way she did.

The movie star made this known via her Instagram page on Wednesday, December 1, 2021.

“I’ll never regret the love I gave anyone, even if it wasn’t reciprocated. Love always comes back full circle, that love is coming back to me in some shape or form,” she wrote.

Tonto Dikeh’s post is coming days after she informed her fans that she wasno longer scared of getting her heart broken.

Singer Peruzzi says ‘love is not for everyone’

Nigerian recording artiste, Peruzzi real name Tobechukwu Victor Okoh has opined in a social media post that love is not for everyone.

In an Instagram post, the DMW signee revealed that he is sharing his bitter truth.

Taking his Instagram platform on Sunday, Peruzzi wrote;

“Love isn’t for everyone. Some of us are going to find love. Some of us are going to be single. Some of us were made for cruising and vibes. Don’t kill yourself for what would’ve also killed you”

The singer was previously in a relationship with reality star, Cynthia Nwadiora better known as, Cee C. Peruzzi has not been romantically linked with anyone in recent times.

A young Nigerian artist recently impressed music superstar, Ayodeji ”Wizkid” Balogun with a portrait of him which he painted.

The talented fine artiste known as Amos Osemwengie, shared photos and a video of his impressive painting of Wizkid and it got the singer’s attention.

Amos, in an Instagram post, explained that he had developed a love for integrating different art forms and saw no reason for there to be boundaries between the industries.

He wrote: “We can think about this piece as my first attempt at infusing both art forms. By creating a traditional visual art of one of Africa’s leading music star Wizkid(Big Wiz). Documenting what i believe to be his most solid project yet “Made In Lagos”.”

Explaining further, Amos said he infused all the elements he found exciting on Wizkid’s Made in Lagos album as well as the visuals he felt described the singer’s artistry.

Wizkid who has been known to keep a relatively low profile on social media eventually got wind of the painting and made sure to show love to Amos on his Instagram page.

The Grammy winner first shared four posts on Insta-story to celebrate Amos’ talent.

Going further, Wizkid also took to the comment section of Amos’ post to show his interest in the painting.

Nollywood actress, Chioma Ifemeludike nearly broke down in tears over the love some street kids showed towards her recently.

The beautiful movie star who helps street kids, usually stops to give them money as some beg whilst doing their work as windscreen washers.

Chioma met the children once again and this time they wanted to be the ones to gift her money.

The act touched her so much that her eyes looked teary in a video she posted on her Instagram page.

In the clip, the kids were so excited to see her and they said categorically that they want to show her love so they contributed money from their little earnings and reached an amount of 200 naira.

Sharing a video of her encounter with the children, Ifemeludike Chioma prayed to God to help her carry the kids on her shoulder.

An Italian Catholic Priest, Rev Fr. Riccardo Ceccobelli, has revealed that he has fallen in love, and won’t be able to stay true to the oath of Celibacy required by the Church.

Ceccobelli, 42, who has been the Parish Priest in the small town north of Rome for six years told the astonished believers that he had never broken his vows but now he was in love and wishes to explore it.

A statement published on Tuesday, 13th April by the diocese quoted the Priest as saying;

“I cannot not continue to be coherent, transparent and correct with regards to her (the Church), as I have always been so far.”

My heart is in love although I have never had the opportunity to transgress the promises I made.”

“I want to try to live this love without repressing it, without pushing it away.”

While I was scrolling on my phone, I came across a picture of an old man and a young lady whose wedding has been scheduled to hold today, 9th January 2021. It looks like a wedding invitation card of the new couple as it can be seen boldly on it that:

“ALH Yushu’a Suleiman WEDS Amina Mohammed.”

The man, the groom who is said to be 83 years old is set to marry a young bride who is only 16 years of age. This picture bothered me and made me to wonder what exactly is happening to this generation. I began to wonder what would be the reason why a young lady like her would agree to get married to an old man. How will a lady as young as this willingly allow an old man to be her husband? Is this normal?

Wait, for how many years will they be married? Didn’t she think about all these before getting married to someone enough to be her grandfather? How does she expect herself to cope when she’s finally 33 years old and his new husband clocks 100 years, is she indirectly planning to become a widower at a very tender age?
