Sergio Ramos and Eden Hazard completed Wednesday’s training session with the rest of Real Madrid’s squad as they have recovered from their respective injuries. Both of them should be ready to play when Madrid face Elche this Saturday.
Mariano Diaz and Dani Carvajal are now the two only injured players for Madrid, who have recovered most of the depth they lost during the last weeks and will be able to rely on a very strong team when they take on Atalanta in the return leg of the Champions League.
All things considered, coach Zinedine Zidane will likely take a cautious approach with both of them. Varane and Nacho have been getting the job done defensively and Hazard’s issues with muscle injuries are problematic enough to make sure that he is slowly worked back into the team.
Furthermore, Ramos’ injury was a serious one, so it would be better for both Real Madrid and the defender to be patient.
