Timini Egbuson was born on the 10th of June, 1987 in Lagos State, Nigeria. He’s the last child of his parents and a also the younger brother of popular actress, Dakore Egbuson-Akande. He attended Greenspring Montessori School for his elementary education and Adebayo Mokuolu College, Ogba, Lagos for his secondary education. Upon graduation from secondary school, he proceeded to bag a degree in Psychology from the University of Lagos (UNILAG). The Bayelsa State born actor described his teenage years as the period he learnt lots of life lessons.
Timini dreamt of becoming a child psychologist but fate took its course. As an undergraduate, he worked as a personal assistant to his sister, Dakore. On completing his tertiary education, he got a job with an e-commerce company as a marketing executive. He worked for two and a half years before making a foray into the Nigerian movie industry. The handsome actor was unfulfilled at his 9-5 job so he left the job to launch his acting career. Timini commenced his acting career in 2010 with M-net’s soap opera – Tinsel. Over 4000 people auditioned for the series, he was lucky to be among the few chosen by the director. His stellar performance in Tinsel prompted the director to include him in the cast of MTV’s Shuga Naija
He’s featured in several movies like Skinny Girl in Transit, Fifty, Fifty the series, Isoken, Something Wicked, Ajuwaya, Kamsi, The Intern, Elevator Baby, Love is Yellow and others. The Nollywood hunk has hosted a number of events. He anchored GT Bank’s Fashion week red carpet alongside Sharon Ooja in 2017. Timini was also the host of EbonyLife TV show – The Spot
