My biological father who has never seen me for 28 years just showed up on my door. The man had garnered a lot of reactions from social media users of South Africa who can relate to him completely, this is a country where more than half of the people were abandoned by their up to no good fathers nor mothers for one reason or another.
Another tweep had shared that he too was abandoned by his father who showed up in his life later on mysteriously, he said that he told him to go to hell. Many people related to this and felt that he was in the right because the father had no reason to just show up and pretend as if everything is fine and expect everyone to act like nothing ever happened.
Many fathers are having dilemmas in their heads, whether to show up at their children’s door steps or not, well not with the advent of social media we would all collectively want to let them know not to even think about it for a second.
All those years they have been absent they never even once tried to show up until you are fully grown, and then expect you to act normal.
