A Nigerian man known as Paul Ash has urged superstar singer and DMW boss, David Adeleke aka Davido to use the millions he has received to drill boreholes in all local government areas in Nigeria.
There are 774 local government areas in the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
Paul, who is a Business Development Executive, said if Davido creates boreholes in all 774 LGAs, it will impact the lives of the rural dwellers.
When he was tackled for asking Davido to do something that federal, state and governments were elected to do, the man said that because the government failed does not mean that citizens should abandon those who need basic amenities.
Davido has been receiving millions in donations from friends, colleagues, and fans. His original target expectation was pegged at N100m but after exceeding the amount, he increased it to N200m.
A check on the singer’s most recent update, shows he has gotten a little over N184 million.
Taking to his Twitter account, @iam_paulash He wrote; ”Dear @davido We have 774 local government areas in Nigeria and almost every local government lacks pipe born water.
It will be honorable if you can use this opportunity to make boreholes in each local government in Nigeria to impact the lives of rural dwellers.”
”Because the government failed in their duties, so we should abandon those who cannot afford basic amenities to their faith.”
