The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre’s (KSrelief) volunteer medical team performed 28 cochlear implant surgeries on children in Kenya on Saturday, all of which were successful.
Speech and language rehabilitation services were provided to 28 children, and 28 educational sessions for the children’s families were organized, benefiting 50 individuals.This assistance is part of the Saudi Sama’a Volunteer Program for cochlear implantation and auditory rehabilitation for Kenyan and Somali children in Kenya, with the participation of 20 volunteers from various medical specialties.
