Nigerian Instagram content creator and fashion model, Tobi The Creator took to his Instagram to share a video debunking rumours that he is married to cross-dresser James Brown.
If you recall, the two Instagram sensations post pictures of themselves in what looked to be a wedding. Tobi wore a suit while James was dressed in a wedding gown.
Although it seemed to be a wedding skit, Tobi said many Nigerians assumed the stunt was a real wedding between himself and James Brown. Ever since it’s been difficult trying to explain to them on different social platforms that he’s not married.
Here’s what he said:
“I am so angry. I don’t know why Nigerians won’t mind their business. You people should warn yourselves. Everywhere, on my WhatsApp, on my Instagram, everybody is saying Tobi you’re married.
It’s better to record this message and tell your friends passing this wrong information about me. Nobody should get me angry. I’m just moving in my lane. James is my friend, James is not my wife. We are best friends we are not married. We are single. Because you people are making me lose opportunities. Do you know how many people that want to date Tobi?
You guys should stop all these. I am single and searching. Even if I want to marry is it a man I will marry? Me and James are content creators and we created a content and you guys enjoyed it. I am not married.”
Tobi emphasized that he’s very much single, likewise James Brown. And that he has no plans of marrying a man when it’s time for him to settle down.
Thus, Nigerians should stop creating false stories about his relationship status.
