I left Banky’s EME with zero naira – Wizkid says in resurfaced video

A throwback video of Afrobeats star, Wizkid speaking on how he left Banky W’s Empire Mates Entertainment, EME years ago has surfaced on social media.

This follows an interview Bank granted where he said that Wikzid exited to start his own record label after dropping only two out of the five albums he was contractually obligated to release.

In the old Video which was from an interview with Capital Xtra, Wiz said when he left EME, he had no single money to his name despite being ‘Wizkid’.

According to the Ojuelegba hit-maker, things were moving smoothly and he was thankful to Banky W, but he had gotten to a phase of his career where he wanted to grow more so he had to leave.

Reacting, @IFLOifeanyi said; And he expects us to believe this??? No way he left with zero naira after two albums. It’s impossible

@Akbar_AFC; I think he meant peanuts, so he decided to move and make something he deserved better… Not literally Zero Naira lol

@bankybee22; It’s not possible for him to left with Zero naira.. he (Wizkid) said in an interview with Olisa that he made money for the EME and also for himself.. where are all those money he made for himself? When he left?
