A young Nigerian lady identified as Ngozi Anozie, has taken to microblogging platform, Twitter to celebrate after graduating from University.
Ngozi decided to mark her graduation by recreating an epic throwback photo of her graduation from primary school with her mum.
She shared two images, one is the throwback, the other is the new one of her rocking the graduation gown and maintaining similar pose except this time around she sat on a chair.
In the first image, taken 20 years ago, her mum could be seen standing behind her with two hands on the shoulder.
The recent photo showed her standing behind the fresh graduate as she sat down to have a replica of the first picture.
Ngozi shared the photos with the caption; ”20 years later”
Nigerian singer and former member of defunct music group, Plantashun Boiz, Chibuzor Oji also known as Faze, has lost his mum.
The ‘Independent’ crooner made the announcement via his Instagram page on Tuesday, January 18, 2022.
This comes one year after his twin sister passed away. Faze noted that it made his heart heavy with grief, while thanking God that his mum lived a full life.
He shared a video reel of some fond memories and photos which includes a throwback image of his lovely mum.
Faze wrote;
”I don’t know how to express what’s in my heart. My heart is heavy. My Mum passed on last Wednesday, January 12th. This, after my twin sister left this world last year.

Renowned Nigerian comedian, Ayodeji Makun, said on Tuesday his wife, Mabel Makun recently welcomed their second child after 13 years of waiting.
AY, who disclosed this on his Instagram page, said his wife delivered a baby girl in Atlanta, United States.

Controversial Nigerian transvestite, Bobrisky real name Idris Okuneye has stated in an Instagram post that he stands with his former friend and embattled socialite Mompha following his recent case with the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC).
It would be recalled that the Instagram influencer and socialite, Mompha, real name Ismaila Mustapha was arraigned in court on January 12, 2022, after being re-arrested for cyber fraud and money laundering.
Ripples Nigeria reported on Tuesday, January 18 that the embattled socialite was granted bail of N200 million.
Reacting to the controversy around his former friend, Bobrisky in an Instagram post empathized with Mompha. He stated that he was prepared to stand with the socialite regardless of the onerous situations that he finds himself.

Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has urged the Nigerian government to legalize guns so that people can easily deal with child molesters.
The veteran Nollywood thespian made this known while reacting to a video posted by comedienne, Princess, on her Instagram page.
Princess, whose foster daughter was allegedly molested by Yoruba actor Baba Ijesha, shared a video of a four-year-old girl being molested by her teacher.
In the comment section, Iyabo Ojo made it clear that anyone who messes with her children will face her wrath accordingly.

Nigerian reality star, Chinonso Onyenobi popularly known as Nina has slammed Nigerians in the diaspora for publishing contents aimed at discouraging others from relocating abroad.
Taking to her Instagram stories, the former Big Brother Naija contestant claimed that people abroad always made it seem difficult to live outside the country.
Nina, who is currently outside the country, claimed that such complaints may discourage others from relocating.
Speaking further on her Instagram stories, the reality TV star noted that if those complaining on social media didn’t like the snow or taxes they face abroad, they could return to Nigeria.
She also admonished them to desist from posting “nonsense” and quit complaining.
Nina wrote:
“I don’t understand why people abroad would be trying so hard to make it look like it’s a struggle living out here and then trying to discourage other people from relocating.

A Nigerian man has taken to micro-blogging site, Twitter to share the story of a driver who intended to have affairs with the female bosses at his new place of work.
The tweep with handle @iam_paulash said that the company he works for, hired a driver who made advances at the senior female executives shortly after resuming.
The driver had reportedly sent messages to them that he wishes to be made their sugar boy, hoping that they would each be his sugar mummy.
Paul, however did not disclose what eventually happened to the ‘bold’ driver.
”We employed a new driver at work, his first week of resumption, he started texting all our female senior executives that he wants to be their sugar boy,” he wrote.
Nigerian music producer, Samklef has opined in a Twitter post that Nollywood movies influenced numerous young men to be involved in ritual practices.
According to him, most men took inspiration from the messages that they conceived primarily from movies.

Nigerian music legend, Innocent Idibia better known as Tubaba has said that he is no longer in the habit of impregnating women.
The singer, who is married to actress, Annie Idibia stated this on stage during the Idoma International Carnival in Otukpo, Benue state.
Tubaba paused his performance to address female audience members who were not hyper reactive. He pointed out how he noticed they were no longer screaming while he hopped on stage to perform.

Controversial Lesbian, Gay, Bi-S*xual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ+) activist, Bisi Alimi has opined that no Nigerian will make heaven.
According to the LGBTQ+ activist, most Nigerians will not make heaven for reasons he failed to specify.
Speaking via his Instagram stories on Thursday, the unapologetic same-sex marriage advocate stated that Nigerians often claim to have ‘admission into heaven’ due to their religious lifestyle and how they often demand rapture to come in time.
“The way Nigerians beg for rapture to happen, you will think they already have admission into the so called heaven”

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has confirmed the arrest of popular skitmaker and Instagram content creator, Sunday Joshua Martins aka DeGeneral.
DeGeneral was arrested by NDLEA operatives in the early hours of Wednesday.
The agency’s spokesman, Femi Babafemi, who confirmed the development in a statement, said the comedian was arrested during the raid of a notorious drug joint at Orchid Estate in the Lekki area of Lagos State.
The statement read: “Acting on credible intelligence, narcotic officers stormed the drug joint in the estate, where three suspects were arrested with illicit drugs including 200 sachets of 225mg Tramadol and 1.5kilograms of cannabis sativa. In the course of the operation, some persons including the suspected dealer ran away with bags suspected to contain exhibits.
“A trial showed they ran into De General’s house. The young men started to make noise to prevent a search. The operatives introduced themselves as officers of NDLEA and submitted themselves for search before entry. This was done and a search was conducted.
“The search led to the recovery of drug exhibits including cannabis sativa; Tramadol 225mg, and some paraphernalia for drug use. This was after the suspect had requested to record on video the search, which the officers out of a sense of civility allowed.
“The video trending on social media was the moment the suspect and his friends decided to disrupt the bid to conduct a search of the house. In his confessional statement in custody, the suspect admitted ownership of the drugs recovered from his house.”
Popular social media comedian and content creator, Abisi Emmanuel Ezechukwu aka Nasty Blaq, claimed on Wednesday he was assaulted by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
Nasty Blaq disclosed this on Twitter several hours after his colleague, Joshua Sunday aka DeGeneral, was arrested by NDLEA operatives for alleged possession of drugs and other harmful substances.
The comedian said he was on his way to location for a skit production when he was accosted by NDLEA officers.
He said one of the uniformed men threatened to shoot him despite complying with their directive.
Blaq accompanied his thread with a photo of his injured upper lip to support the claim that he was assaulted by the NDLEA operatives.
