Nigerian entrepreneur, Tania Omotayo has spoken on her relationship with ex-boyfriend, and superstar singer, Ayodeji Balogun aka Wizkid.
She hinted during a chat with journalist, Chude Jideonwo that she has no issues with people who often make reference to their past relationship especially when they want to mention her in a conversation.
Chude asked her if it hurts to hear people refer to her as ‘the girl that dated Wizkid’. In her response, the married woman asked him if it is not known fact that she and the musician were lovers.
Did I not date him?’‘ she asked.
Tania and Wiz dated for five years but the relationship ended in 2016 mid reports that he was expecting his second child with US-based baby mama, Binta Diallo.
Ghanaian rapper, Mohammed Ismail better known as Black Sherif has been sued by his former manager, Shadrach Agyei Owusu also known as Snap Chavis Wayne over alleged breach of contract.
Snap filed a lawsuit at an Accra High Court, and accused Sherif of dumping his record label to sign a deal with an international organization, Empire Entertainment without due notification and procedure.
A writ of summons slammed on Black Sherif on Monday, April 11, 2022 stated that he is expected to respond in eight days.
The former manager is also is seeking an injunction to be placed on the Second Sermon crooner, restricting him from performing at any event until the case has been resolved.
Nigerian musician, Daniel Benson, known professionally as BNXN, has acknowledged God’s blessings upon him ever since he went independent.
BNXN, formerly known as Buju, was signed to Burna Boy’s Spaceship Entertainment in 2020, but he left the record label in 2021.
According to the ‘Confident’ crooner, God has been blessing him in multiple folds ever since he left Burna Boy’s label.

The singer said; “Signing with spaceship was so amazing I got like 9m streams with my remix in April.
“Burna heard my song ‘Lenu’ in the club and ‘vibed’ with it and signed me in 2020 but it was a year contract and I didn’t renew it.
“I didn’t renew the contract after a year because I want to do things on my own differently. I’ve seen how it works around there and it does not necessarily flow with me.
“Affiliation is great when it’s working for you.
“I told Burna I wanted to do it on my own and I’ll make him proud and he told me to go along.”
A 28-year-old man identified as Ifeanyi Njoku, has been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly killing his 24-year-old girlfriend, Precious Okeke, and sleeping with her corpse for six days for money ritual purposes.
The State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Benjamin Hundeyin, who confirmed the incident in a statement on Monday, said it happened in an estate at Badore, in the Ajah area of the state.
“The deceased and the suspect were live-in lovers and stayed on Oke Street in the estate where Ifeanyi Njoku allegedly killed her for ritual purposes,” Hundeyin said.
“So far, two suspects, Ifeanyi Njoku and Mbam Atunmufor, 36, have been arrested.
“They have been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Yaba, for further investigation.
“Prelimnary investigations reveal that a native doctor who was assisting the suspect in the money ritual scheme, instructed him to have sex with Okeke’s corpse.
“So after killing the girlfriend, Njoku was said to have engaged in the illicit act with the corpse for six days, while the stench emanating from his apartment prompted his neighbours to inform the management of the estate.
A search of the apartment by the estate security officers revealed Okeke’s decomposing corpse which led to the matter reported at the Lamgbasa Police Station and during interrogation, the suspect confessed that he killed his girlfriend six days ago.
He further confessed that he wanted to use the girl for money rituals and was told by a native doctor that he should have sex with his girlfriend’s corpse for seven days, but he was caught on the sixth day. Today (Monday) was supposed to make it the seventh day.
“The smell of the corpse had been disturbing neighbours in the compound and other residents, prompted them reporting to the estate chairman to help in confirming what was going on in the apartment and while searching the apartment, they found the girl’s body.
“At the time of his arrest, the suspect offered the security personnel the sum of N6m to kill the case but the offer was rejected.”
Nigerian musician and social activist, Seun Kuti has opined in an Instagram post that majority of Northern and Southern elites do not represent the interest of their people.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday afternoon, Seun Kuti, who is the last son of legendary Nigerian recording artiste, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, said most elites from the aforementioned parts of Nigeria are primarily interested in their own personal agenda.
“Both the northern and southern elites don’t represent the interests of their people. I have northern friends and none of them wants to be my overlord. Not a single one,” he said.
Kuti went further;
“I am aligned with the people and their interests not with the oppressor and his interests. We need class consciousness before we kill each other for nothing.”
Controversial Nigerian actor, Uche Maduagwu has shaded Disc Jockey, DJ Cuppy while reacting to the engagement of singer, Mr Eazi and Temi Otedola.
He stated that what Cuppy’s sister and her fiancé share could have easily been recreated with him as her lover if she had just eased off on her pride.
Uche Maduagwu hinted that they would have been engaged by now but for her ego and pride which prevented her from dating him.

Ace Nigerian singer, David Adeleke also known as Davido has gifted the sum of N500,000 to his aide, Israel DMW’s fiancée.

Justin Dean, the estranged husband of dancer Korra Obidi has given reasons for choosing to leave his marriage soon after his celebrity partner welcomed their second daughter.
The chiropractor on Friday morning claimed that Korra repeatedly said hurtful things about their first child; that she said she regrets giving birth to June.
Speaking via his Instagram live platform, he explained that on the night he came online to announce his marriage was over, Korra repeatedly said she regrets birthing June and June was in his lap crying.
He said he called his mother and she heard Korra repeat that over the phone.
The medical practitioner alleged that Korra then forcefully tried to take June from him and she dislocated the 2-year-old’s shoulder.
He also said that the night he came on live video, telling Korra to repeat what she said, that was what he was asking her to repeat.

“That’s why I’m divorcing Korra, because she used the kids to hurt me and I thought that was wrong. And I didn’t want Athena (their newborn daughter) to go through the same things that June’s endured the last few years.”
Nigerian music executive, Ubi Franklin has responded to the threat issued by singer Timaya on social media during the early hours of Wednesday, March 30.
The Bayelsa state recording artiste, Timaya had earlier threatened to beat up Ubi Franklin before admonishing him to focus on his new job as being the “nanny” to Ifeanyi Adeleke, the son of singer Davido.
Reacting to the threat, Ubi confirmed that he was assaulted by Timaya in 2021 but said it was an “unprovoked” attack.
Ubi revealed further that the singer knelt down to apologize and also called to apologize, while blaming it all on being “high”.
He tweeted;
Say the truth, talk who helped you that day Timaya. You know the truth.
Timaya is so petty.
“You are angry cos I told how wrong it was to knock a woman down and leave here to her fate.
“You come to talk trash here today?
“I am not a person that will see wrong and keep quiet. “You were wrong to have knocked that’s woman down and left her there. Period.”
Ubi went on to narrate how Timaya went on his knees to beg him after the incident was reported to his “Oga”.
Ubi continued:
“I made sure he got his, I wasn’t satisfied cos they were too many Big Boys/men who knew he attacked me unprovoked cos he was drunk and I did mine to fill gaps.
I am not a violent person, but I will defend myself.
I know because y’all see timaya act gangster you feel say him fit beat me No Wahala, I go find that CCTV footage From my oga house see how he knelt down to beg.
He called me the next day to apologize cos he was high and attacked me unprovoked, self defense came to play.”
Ubi went on to disclose why Timaya is threatening to physically assault him.
Referencing his tweet from March 4, 2022, Ubi Franklin had admonished the popular musician to apologize for inflicting injuries on a lady with his vehicle in Lagos state.
Ubi stated that Timaya is not above the law regardless of his celebrity status.
