Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has endorsed a photoshopped image of his family, shared by a colleague of his, Sarah Martins, on Christmas Day.

Edochie’s first wife, May, on Sunday posted an image of herself and children to commemorate Christmas Day.

The photo had sparked reactions over the absence of the actor from the family portrait.

Sarah Martins posted an edited image of May’s family portrait, which now included the actor, his second wife, Judy Austin, and their child, Star Dike.

She captioned it, “Beautiful Family…😍 As it should be 👌❤️.

“Reacting to the photo, Edochie said, “🤣🤣🤣Yes oo Sarah. As it should be. Beautiful family. Blessed man with blessed family.

Everybody will be living in peace, love and jolly. May Zukwanuike.”

Comedian Basketmouth announces the end of his marriage to Elsie Okpocha after 12 years

Ace comedian, Bright Okpocha, popularly known as Basketmouth, has announced that he and his wife Elsie Okpocha have separated after 12 years of marriage.

He asked members of the public for privacy as they navigate their new life.

Basketmouth and Elsie got married in 2010 and they have three children together, Janelle, Jason, and Maya Okpocha. Their youngest was born in 2021. However, the comedian had a child before his marriage, named Amy.

Justin Bieber Set To Sell Music Rights For $200m

Singer, Justin Bieber, is set to sign a deal to sell his music rights to Blackstone Inc. Hipgnosis Songs Capital in a deal valued at around $200 million.

According to Wall Street Journal, on Wednesday, the expected deal includes the pop star’s interest in both his publishing and recorded music catalog.

His hit songs ‘Love Yourself’ and ‘Baby’ will be included in the deal.

Yul Edochie apologises publicly to first wife May Edochie for the first time

Yul Edochie has publicly apologised to his first wife, May Edochie, for impregnating his colleague and marrying her as a second wife.

Since Yul’s marriage to his colleague, Judy Austin Muoghalu, was announced, May has made it clear several times that she will not be forced into a polygamous union. Yul has now taken to Instagram to beg for her forgiveness.

He admitted that he hurt her, but begged her to remember the 99 things he did right and forgive the one thing he did wrong.

OAP Dotun drags singer D’Banj on IG

On Air Personality, Dotun has taken to social media to call out singer, D’Banj and his family.

Dotun who is married to Dbanj’s sister, Taiwo, took to his Instagram page today December 16, to accuse DBanj of trying to pervert the course of justice.

Without giving details of what exactly happened, Dotun said it’s been two years he has kept quiet and that ”several lies have been told and several attempts made to pervert justice.”

He accused DBanj of using the press to spread lies, adding that he is ready to make the entire world know how ”wicked, deceitful, ignorant and despicable” the singer and his family are.

Asake prays for victims of London concert crush

Singer, Asake, has issued a statement following a crush that left four persons in critical condition during his concert at O2 Academy Brixton on Thursday night.

Reports revealed that a crowd of people, many of whom did not have tickets, attempted to gain access into the venue, where Asake was performing and it led to a crush.In a statement on his Instagram page on Friday, Asake said his heart was with the victims and prayed for their recovery.

He also promised to be back.His statement read;

“My heart is with those who were injured last night and caused any form of discomfort. I pray you get well soonest. I am also in the process of reaching out to individuals. I still do not have the full brief from the venue management themselves as to what led to the disruption at the entrance of The Brixton Academy, but we are thankful that all was peaceful at the end.

Four people were critically injured and four others were hospitalised following the crush at the concert venue in south London.

Police and other emergency services were called to the O2 Academy in Brixton at 21:35 pm (2135 GMT) following reports “that a large number of people were attempting to force entry to the venue.

The Metropolitan police added that investigations are ongoing into the case, adding no one had been arrested yet.

“A police investigation has been launched, and it will be as thorough and as forensic as necessary to establish exactly what happened last night,” police commander, Ade Adelekan added.

Davido’s former signee Yonda apologises for his betrayal

Musical artist Yonda has taken to Instagram to apologise to Davido after they fell out last year.

Yonda, who was one of Davido’s DMW signees, claimed during an interview in January 2021 that he was “violated” by DMW.

He added that he would have to leave Davido’s music label because things weren’t “rosy” for him there.

Now, almost 2 years after that interview, Yonda, who featured in Davido’s A Good Time album, has taken to Instagram to apologise to Davido.

He shared a screenshot of a message he sent to Davido apologising for his actions. He explained that he has been “black listed” in the industry and begged Davido to take him back as a prodigal son.

After a follower who reacted to the tweet asked if fame brings money, Deyemi replied by stating that there are many broke famous people.

He added that while fame is a byproduct, it is work strategy and work ethics that brings money.

Tems gets Golden Globe nomination for best original song

Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi, also known as Tems, has been nominated for Best Original Score in a motion picture based on her contribution to the “Lift Me Up” soundtrack that was featured on Marvel’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

Tems was nominated for the award alongside Rihanna, Ludwig Göransson, and Ryan Coogler, who were all significant contributors to the song.

Tems co-wrote the song, which was performed by Rihanna and released on November 4.

The record paid tribute to Chadwick Boseman, who played a lead role in the franchise before he died in 2020 after a battle with colon cancer.

Reacting to news of her nomination, Tems tweeted: “My God!! this one is too much.”
