A man identified as Friday has lost his life after his wife slept with another man in Delta State, HGS Media Plus reports.

In a statement on Instagram on Friday, Timberlake said he was “deeply sorry” and wanted to “take accountability”.

The Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, said on Thursday the criminal herdsmen currently holding Nigerians to ransom in various parts of the country are foreigners who sneaked into the country to cause havoc.
Ortom, who stated this at a press briefing in Abuja, urged President Muhammadu Buhari to use his position to push for a review of the ECOWAS protocol on the movement of persons, goods, and services within the sub-region.
According to him, the foreign herdsmen were taking undue advantage of the relaxed ECOWAS protocol to fuel insecurity in Nigeria.
The governor said: “In neighbouring countries like Ghana and the Benin Republic, people are properly profiled before they are allowed into the county.

It is there in the ECOWAS protocol; I have studied it, I have my lawyers to also study it.
“Most of the herdsmen killing our people are not even Nigerians. Even the President himself said this during his visit to the United Arab Emirates.”
On the law prohibiting open grazing in Benue, the governor added: “The legislation we have in place in Benue is responsible for the relative peace we are enjoying.
We have arrested and prosecuted over 400 herdsmen since the law came into effect.
“We have had 150 convictions. Some convicts were fined and released. Others are still in Makurdi Correctional Centre.”

A man who calls himself a prophet was arrested after he allegedly sodomized a teenage boy in Akwa Ibom.
Akwa Ibom State Police Command has arrested a 31-year-old prophet, Anietie Inyang, for allegedly sodomising a 12-year-old boy. who lives with his grandmother at Ikot Ada Utor in Afaha Clan in Essien Udim Local Government Area of the state.
According to reports, the Prophet was earlier arrested by the Essien Udim Police Division for allegedly engaging in anal sex with the victim,
But he was later released on bail without being charged to court for his crime, and attempts were made to cover up the case.
It was learnt that the Chairman of Essien Udim LGA, Anthony Luke, and his wife, Umoh Gabriel Luke, got wind of the information and ordered the police to produce the suspect.
Inyang was subsequently re-arrested and brought to the State Police Headquarters in Ikot Akpan Abia, Uyo.
It was further learnt that the Akwa Ibom State Sexual and Gender-based Violence Response Unit has taken over the case.
Chick Corea, a Grammy Award-winning jazz musician, has died at the age of 79, a statement on his website confirmed.
The American musician’s career spanned more than five decades. His last album was released in 2020.
Corea is the fourth most nominated artist in the Grammy Awards’ history with 65 nominations, winning 23 times.
He died on 9 February from a rare form of cancer that was only recently diagnosed.
Corea played with Miles Davis in the late 1960s and his own group, Return to Forever, were at the forefront of the jazz fusion movement.

“Through his body of work and the decades spent touring the world, he touched and inspired the lives of millions,” the statement said.

In a short viral video, Igboho introduced one Olayomi Koiki whom he said would henceforth speak on his behalf.

Reports hard it that A 20- year- old woman by the name Makoduchukwu Ndubisi, has reportedly stabbed her husband, John Bosco Ngu with her baby, to death in Anambra State.
It was discovered that the sad incident happened at Nsugbe in the Anambra East Local Government Area of the state.
The Police force, Anambra State command’s Public Relations Officer, Haryana Mohammed, said the deceased has been taken to a nearby morgue while investigation to the killing has commenced immediately.
The suspect allegedly had a serious quarrel with her husband, one John Bosko Ngu, who was 35years of age of the same address, and she stabbed him on his chest with a sharp knife while he was asleep.
The scene was visited by police detectives after they heard the incident and the victim rushed to Borromeo Hospital, Onitsha, for medical attention but was comfirmed dead by a medical doctor.
The corpse was fixed in the hospital mortuary for autopsy, some strong exhibit was recovered and the case is under investigation to ascertain circumstances surrounding the incident.
