An explosion in a gas plant at Baruwa, Ipaja area, has caused a fire outbreak in Lagos state early hours of today. The Federal Fire Service ran out of water while fighting the flames.
An eye witness confirmed that it is a gas plant explosion and the fire is extending to surrounding buildings.
An elderly man is feared dead after being burnt by the fire while two others who sustained injuries have been taken to the hospital for treatment
