Talking about Gospel Music in Nigeria, it is already an established fact that Mercy Chinwo is a great force to be reckoned with. Mercy Chinwo is a great sensational and inspirational worship singer, who has an outstanding and distinct voice of singing (mostly worship songs). “Distinct” in the sense that when she sings, you do not need to ask “who is that person singing”? She has the boldness and authority when singing to the glory of God.
Who Is Mercy Chinwo?
Mercy Chinwo is a Nigerian sensational gospel musician, singer and also a songwriter. In 2012, she won the second season of the famous competition in Nigeria “Nigerian Idol”.
Mercy Nnenda Chinwo (5th of September, 1990), is the fourth child of a family of five, her being the first daughter. She got involved in music at a very early age as she started out as a member of the children choir in her church. And I believe that we all know that this is how most, if not all of these gospel artistes, start out (i.e, being a member of the choir or being an instrumentalist).
It would interest you to know that Mercy Chimwo has acted before, and that was the year after she won Nigerian Idol. A year after winning, she was given her first film role in one of Yvonne Nelson’s film, “House of Gold”, where she starred alongside Yvonne Nelson, Omawunmi, Majid Michel amongst others.
Was She Involved In Any Accident?
In November 2019, Mercy Chinwo who was rumoured to have been involved in a ghastly motor accident, WHICH WAS NOT TRUE. Mercy Chinwo Was Never Involved In Any Accident Whatsoever.
Her management (EeZee Concepts Global), also attested and cleared the air on this issue making it known that the rumour was false. The post (by her management) was made on the 16th of November, stating categorically that her artist is fine and also in a good state of health. They said she was not in any accident and will never be involved in any accident.
Her management also sent a note of warning to blogs propagating such a rumour, telling them to desist from it as Mercy Chinwo will continue to minister in good health in her scheduled meetings across the globe.
So, there you have it. The sensational Gospel singer was never involved in any accident whatsoever. Then, i wonder what joy some blogs derive in propagating such absurd rumour.
