World Athletics bans transgender women athletes from female events

World Athletics has voted to adopt a new policy that would not allow transgender women to compete with biological women in elite track and field events regardless of their testosterone level, given they had gone through male puberty.

The governing body said the decision was taken to “protect the future of the female category.”

Most sports have decided to allow trans women to compete in the biological women category since the Tokyo Olympics when New Zealand weightlifter Laurel Hubbard made history by becoming the first openly transgender athlete to compete at an Olympic Games.

But they must have lowered their testosterone to nanomoles per litre for 12 months. Meanwhile, new scientific research shows that trans women still have many advantages over biological women, even after lowering their testosterone levels.

The new development prompted the World Athletics to suggest 24-month timeline testosterone suppressing, but it received little support from member federations, citing their priority is fairness for female sport over inclusion.

Speaking after a meeting of the global track and field federation’s decision-making body, World Athletics president Seb Coe said yesterday that starting from March 31, no transgender athlete who had gone through male puberty would be allowed to compete in female world ranking competitions.

Mr Coe said the governing body consulted with stakeholders, including 40 national federations, the International Olympic Committee and trans groups before taking the decision.

“We entered into a consultation some months ago because we wanted to provoke debate,” he said.

“It was really important that we heard from all our stakeholders, including the athletes, the coaches and member federations. And my goodness, we heard from them.”

Mr Coe added;

“Decisions are always difficult when they involve conflicting needs and rights between different groups, but we continue to take the view that we must maintain fairness for female athletes above all other considerations. We believe the integrity of the female category in athletics is paramount.”

The World Athletics decision came after World Rugby, FINA, swimming’s world governing body and Rugby Football League agreed to ban transgender women from competing in the biological women categories.

4-year-old announces in transgender reveal party, sparking debate online

A 4-year-old biologically female child in Canada has decided to identify as a boy, and the child’s transgender reveal party during a pride parade in Vancouver has sparked a debate on social media.

Charlie Danger Lloyd’s mother said her child has been expressing he is a boy since he was ‘very young.’

The mum claims her child would repeatedly tells the family “I’m a boy!” and that “he” was “growing to look just like daddy” when he was as young as two years old.

Charlie is seen revealing his new gender at the Vancouver Pride Parade by firing off a confetti cannon filled with blue smoke with the help of his grandmother.

Online critics called the gender reveal “child abuse” and “sickening.”

Some went as far as to demand that Charlie’s mom be jailed. But Charlie’s mum, Alaina Bourrel, insists she is doing what she feels is best for Charlie. She added that his confidence and happiness have shot sky-high following a simple wardrobe change and haircut.

Bourrel told the South West News Service:

“We are four months since he began his social transition now. “He is still a normal kid that does completely normal little kid things like play with Lego, uses his creativity and learns to ride his bike. “His choices were not questioned and he was congratulated and everyone began using new pronouns. We are so lucky to have the circle that we do.”

Actor Elliot Page surgically removes his breasts after coming out as transgender

Hollywood actor, Elliot Page formerly known as Ellen Page has revealed he’s undergone surgery to remove his breasts and says it’s changed his life for the better as he now feels like his true self since coming out as a transgender.

The Juno star, born Ellen Page, announced he was non-binary and transgender in December, as he shared his preferred pronouns of “he” and “they”

Page has now disclosed that he has undergone surgery to remove breast tissue and reconstruct the remaining chest tissue and skin.

In a candid interview with Time Magazine, the actor, who showed off his new look on the cover shoot, said he actually feels like himself now when he looks in the mirror, and more energized than ever, adding … “It has completely transformed my life”, it was “not only life-changing but lifesaving”.

Page recalled struggling to feel comfortable in the female form after shooting to fame with the 2007 teen pregnancy drama Juno.

“I just never recognised myself,” he confessed, adding: “For a long time I could not even look at a photo of myself.”

Even just being offered women’s clothing to wear caused Page to feel sick:

“(I didn’t know) how to explain to people that even though (I was) an actor, just putting on a T-shirt cut for a woman would make me so unwell.”

You Will Not Believe That This Beautiful Lady Used To Be A Boy

The phrase transgender is a gender distinctive that revolves based on the precise gender they are born with. The world brings mixed opportunities for constructing self-esteem So many people go as far as changing their gender to the gender of their choice.

A large number of them do so with their permission, while some parents do so without the approval of the child and are likely to open themselves up to the child as an adult.

It has come to my notice that the transition from a man to a woman is the most common, but the transition from a woman to a man is not very popular, is it that to be a man isn’t easy or they just want to try out new bod? It’s funny and confusing at a time.

Mehgan Margiela is a transgender woman from Chicago who always storm social media to disclose her beautiful pictures and proud she is because of her recent look.

Her audacity whenever she publishes her photos is what prompted me to post about her, she feels free like any other human on earth and doesn’t care what other people have to say about her new body transformation.

Her new look is very beautiful, undoubtedly she was as good as a boy, but she decides to change her sex which I think she prefers.

A lot of people push her timeline into dragging her around for changing her exact gender, but she doesn’t care about what they say about her.

I don’t concur on how people go to her profile to insult her because of what she does, I believe she is grown enough to know what’s good from what’s bad, her family is okay with it so who are you to insult her over the way she chooses to live her life.

Let her live it on how she wants it, everyone should live their lives the way they want it.

Biden Set To Repeal Trump’s Ban On Transgender People Joining Military.

The plan marks the latest effort by the Biden administration to roll back many of Trump’s policies.

The United States President, Joe Biden, will repeal Donald Trump’s ban on transgender people enlisting in the US military.

The plan marks the latest effort by the Biden administration to roll back many of Trump’s policies.

According to a Reuters report, a source said the ban will be lifted on Monday.

Trump had announced the ban in July 2017, reversing a landmark decision by his predecessor, Barack Obama, which allowed transgender people to serve openly and receive medical care to transition genders.

He, however, allowed transgender military personnel to keep serving while new recruits were kept out.

According to US Department of Defense data, there are about 1.3 million active personnel serving in the U.S. military, but no official figures on the number of trans members are available.

Showing his support, the newly confirmed Defence Secretary, Lloyd Austin, said at his confirmation hearing,

“If you’re fit and you’re qualified to serve and you can maintain the standards, you should be allowed to serve and you can expect that I will support that throughout.”
