My father is proud of me for not coming back home with pregnancy – Nancy Isime

Nigerian media personality cum actress, Nancy Isime has revealed that she made her father proud by not having a child out of wedlock.

She stated this while fielding questions on Tea with Taymesan podcast, where she also spoke on how she has been able to stay away from controversy.

Nancy said; “I don’t find trouble attractive. I don’t find drama attractive. I am true to myself. I am someone who is just focused on work, focused on her goals and things she has to do, rather than being focused on causing pain for others”.

Speaking on her career and how she broke into the entertainment scene, the Nollywood star said: “I started working when I was 17, I have learnt. I am an old soul. I listen to people, I learn from them It doesn’t mean I don’t have my own mistakes. When I speak like this, it comes from a place of wisdom, it does not come from a place of perfection.

I don’t go to where I don’t need to be, I am literally just at work. I am very anxious person so being in social gatherings doesn’t do well for my mental health. When I am working it’s different, because it’s something I love doing.

I am a shy person people don’t know. My job has taught me to put the shyness by the side. When you see me publicly, I walk with my head down, so I pass through a lot of people. I did my father proud by not showing back home pregnant.

I have said it a lot of times, I am not from a rich home.I had to tell my dad to chill, that I will pay my way out of school”.

My mum went for Omugwo and returned with two months pregnancy – Confused lady shares

A lady has revealed that her family is in chaos and it is due to the discovery that her mother is two months pregnant for someone else.

She revealed that her mother went to her elder sister’s place for Omugwo, but she returned two weeks ago with a unexplainable pregnancy.

The lady said she suspects her in-law as she learnt that her mum hardly went out during the six months she was staying at her sister’s place.

Read her story below:

”So my mum who went to my elder sister’s Omugwo just returned 2 weeks ago and now we just discovered that she’s 2 months pregnant.

The worst is that she has refused to reveal who is responsible for the pregnancy because she has been away for almost six months now and my dad has not touched her for long.

Today is exactly two weeks she came back from my sister’s house where she went for omugwo and we just noticed she’s pregnant because she has been vomiting and feeling weak since she came back.

When my father noticed that she’s pregnant he asked her, who was responsible but she refused to say it but keep denying that she is not pregnant.

Now my kinsmen have gathered to ask her but she is insisting that she’s not pregnant that it is ordinary fever.

As it stands now, I’m suspecting our in-law because when I called my elder sister to ask her if my mum used to go out to meet people she said no though I have not informed her about the pregnancy.

Like this now our house is on fire oooo!

Lady narrates how her mother-in-law sent her out with pregnancy in the night.

People are passing through a lot in the country, while some are silently battling with it, others are dying from the pain, Omotoke Isaac shared the story of how she single-handedly care for her daughter for about 9 years now.

Relationship between boyfriends and girlfriend is not new among the youth of nowadays again, getting pregnant by mistake is also part of the game, the case of rejection is the only shouting part of the story, where ladies will be left to sort the pregnancy out all by herself. Omotoke took to her Facebook page to explain how she mistakenly got pregnant and how her supposed boyfriend promised to do the needful and marry her.

According to her, it is a different story when the mother of the boy heard she was pregnant. The alleged mother-in-law used to take good care of Omotoke before the pregnancy incident, but since the pregnancy issue, the boyfriend has deprived Omotoke of getting to their house.

This continued for Months, When the pregnancy was over 5 months and Omotoke could not handle it all alone again, she explained the issue to her father. The father got angry at first but he later accepts fate. So an elderly person, he took it upon himself to visit the boy’s family and sort out things and Omotoke was asked to move in with her boyfriend’s family.

Just when everyone has slept that night, Omotoke explained how the mother came to her room claiming to have a woman-to-woman talk with her, it was then when the woman introduces abortion. To abort a 7-month-old pregnancy can never be easy, said Omotoke. Omotoke disagreed totally with her alleged mother-in-law and right in the night, she was sent out of the house.

She heads straight to her father’s around 1 am and tried to persuade her dad to let it slide. She gave birth to a beautiful baby girl at her aunt’s shop. She was so happy because the baby came out easily with no stress at all.

Mind you, Omotoke said the mother of her boyfriend did not stop trailing her and on different occasions, she has sent a death threat to her if she will not abort the pregnancy. She delivered the baby on the 10th month.

This story happened about 9 years ago and till now Omotoke said she has never received a dime from her boyfriend and his family file the baby’s upkeep. She also explained how they have tried to steal the baby from her on three different accounts.

According to Omotoke’s story, the family of her boyfriend are super-rich, but whenever she approaches them for help, they will not only send her away, she will also be molested, mocked, and bullied.

Omotoke explains the story to a friend who is a lawyer, she was told what to do legally about the case, the lawyer even told Omotoke to sue them to court.

When the boyfriend heard about this, some things changed and the abuse and insult have stopped. They have also quit trying to steal the child.

Omotoke explains how hard it is for her to cater to the child alone. She was just nineteen years when she became pregnant, she is not a graduate neither did she has anything to do. The baby has been sent out of school countless times due to her inability to pay the fees.

Omotoke is seeking a piece of advice from everyone on the next step to take.
