American singer, Diddy, recalls moment he vowed to beat poverty

American recording artiste and music executive, Diddy, real name Sean Combs has disclosed the heartbreaking moment that made him never want to remain poor in his life.

In an Instagram post, Diddy stated that waking up with about fifteen cockroaches on his face made him decide he wants to become financially secure.

Diddy who is one of the wealthiest music executives in America admonished his followers to keep fighting for relevance and never allow the circumstances of life belittle them.

The American music executive has since gone on to establish Bad Boy Records which served as the home to late rapper, Biggie Smalls. Diddy also founded a fashion clothingline which became known as Sean John.

Urging his followers to keep developing their skills, Diddy wrote;

“One day when I was growing up, I woke up and there was 15 roaches on my face. At that moment I said hell no, I refuse to live like this. Work hard, believe in your crazy dreams… AND NEVER SETTLE!”

The American music executive served as the executive producer of Burna Boy’s Grammy award winning album, Twice As Tall. A couple of weeks ago, both parties met in Diddy’s home in Atlanta, USA.

Nine people injured in Iran explosives factory blast

Not less than nine people were injured in a blast on Sunday at a plant producing explosive materials in Iran’s central province of Isfahan, ISNA news agency has reported.

According to the Head of the province’s crisis management organisation, Mansour Shisheforoush, the reason for the blast, which occurred at Sepahan Nargostar Chemical Industries at 4:00 am local time (2330 GMT) was unclear and still under investigation.

He said the nine factory workers that were injured had been taken to hospital, while several investigative teams were currently working to determine the cause of the blast.

Meanwhile, the plant is located about 45 kilometres northwest of Isfahan city.

The company manufactures “industrial-commercial explosive materials” and was established in 1941, according to its website.

Nollywood actor cum politician, Yul Edochie says he has been sent by God to Nigeria to liberate his people.

The movie star, took to his Twitter account to state that planning an escape from the country is not the plan B he ascribes to, rather he would stay and work towards making his fatherland a better place.

He also added that though many are afraid of losing their lives while fighting for a better Nigeria, the certainty that death awaits everyone is the motivation he needs to pursue his mission to the end.

Yul had declared his intention to run for the seat of president come 2023 general elections and his father, veteran actor, Pete Edochie blessed and endorsed his ambition.

Speaking on his role as a liberator, the 39-year-old who noted that things must work the right way in Nigeria, said his Plan B is ”NO LEAVE NO TRANSFER”.

“Jakpa is not the answer. Yes, no one wants to lose his life but truth is, we’ll all die someday, all of us. So what’s the point of running? I’m a man sent by God to liberate his people. I will not run from my fatherland. We must get it right. My plan B is ‘NO LEAVE NO TRANSFER’,” he wrote.
