Men of Ogun state Police Command on Saturday, November 19, arrested one pastor and two others for abducting and killing a 39-year-old man identified as Adekunle Muyiwa and dismembering his body for ritual purposes.

A statement released by the command’s spokesperson, SP Abimbola Oyeyemi, gave the names of the suspects as Idowu Abel, Clement Adeniyi and Pastor Felix Ajadi.

He said they were arrested following a report lodged at Owode Yewa divisional headquarters on the 15th of November 2022 by one Oluwaseyi Adekunle, the elder brother of the victim, who reported that his younger brother left home on 10th of November 2022 and hadn’t returned home since then.

”Upon the report, the DPO Owode Yewa division, CSP Mohammed S. Baba, detailed his Crack detectives to unravel the mystery behind the sudden disappearance of the man.

In the course of their investigation, it was discovered that Idowu Abel was the person who came to pick the missing man from his house on that fateful day.

Upon the discovery, the said Idowu Abel was traced and arrested. On interrogation, Idowu Abel confessed that the victim, who happened to be his bossom friend was lured out by him and taken to his second accomplice, Clement Adeniyi”s farm where he was killed and butchered to pieces.

He confessed further that it was one herbalist who was introduced to him by Pastor Felix Ajadi that requested for human head, heart, two hands, and legs.

He stated further that the said herbalist who is now at large promised to pay him the sum of N200,000 if he is able to get the listed human parts for him.

He explained further that the herbalist paid N80,000 as advance payment with the promise to pay the balance of N120,000 on receiving the items.

After collecting the advance payment, Idowu Abel went to his bossom friend Muyiwa Adekunle and asked him to escort him to somewhere.

Being a long time friend, the victim who didn’t suspect any foul play followed him innocently, and he was taken to the farm of Clement Adeniyi where they killed him and dismembered his body.

His head was cut off, the heart was also removed. The remaining parts was hurriedly buried in a shallow grave in the said farm.” the statement in part read

Oyeyemi added that the friend’s confession led to the arrest of Clement Adeniyi and Pastor Felix Ajadi, while the herbalist who was simply identified as Abeeb a.k.a Boko has taken to flight.

Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, CP Lanre Bankole, has ordered the immediate transfer of the suspects to Homicide section of the state Criminal Investigation Departments for discreet investigation.

He also directed that the fleeing herbalist must be hunted and brought to justice.

RCCG pastor sentenced to two years imprisonment for issuing $1.6m dud cheque

Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo of the Special Offences Court sitting in Ikeja, Lagos, has convicted and sentenced a pastor, Ayodeji Ibrahim Oluokun, to two years in prison.

The assistant pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), City of David Parish, Victoria Island, was jailed on Tuesday, September 21, 2022.

Oluokun’s conviction came, consequent on his arraignment by the Lagos Zonal Command of the EFCC, alongside his company, Peak Petroleum Industry Nigeria Limited, on an amended six-count charge bordering on issuance of dud cheques, stealing and obtaining by false pretence to the tune of $1.6 million on January 19, 2019.

Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo, in her judgment, held that the prosecution had successfully proved the charge of issuance of a dud cheque against the defendants.

Taiwo, however, discharged and acquitted the defendants of stealing and obtaining money under false pretences.

“The defendant issued two cheques in the sum of 1.6 million dollars to the nominal complainant, which was dishonoured because there was no fund in the defendant’s account. Issuance of a cheque for lack of credit is a strictly liable offence,” said Taiwo.

“If the defendant was truly expecting some money till the end of July 2014 as claimed by him, he would have waited till he received the money before issuing the cheque on June 24, 2014,”

The judge said the first defendant knew all of these and still went ahead to issue the cheque dated June 24, 2014.

“It is hereby in the view of this court that the defendant was deliberate in issuing the dud cheque. He is hereby found guilty of counts one and two of issuance of dud cheque.

“The defendants, however, are discharged and acquitted of stealing and obtaining money under false pretences as the prosecution failed to establish the facts against them,” she said.

The judge thereafter sentenced the first defendant to two years in prison or payment of a fine of N2 million, and the second defendant to a fine of N2 million.

She ordered the convict to make restitution of 1.6 million dollars to the nominal complainant within 18 months.

The defence counsel, Mr Edoka Onyeke, in his allocutus, prayed the court to grant the convict a non-custodial sentence, adding that he was a pastor and could use his pastoral work as service to humanity, through community service.

“My lord, apart from the defendant being a first offender, if he is incarcerated, he will not be able to carry out the necessary things on behalf of the second defendant so as to make the restitution easy.

“The first defendant is a pastor of a church. This is a very good opportunity for him to engage in community service instead of a custodian sentence so as to preach the word of God.

On a final note, the defendant has promised to involve the nominal complainant in order to make the restitution,” Onyeke said.

Counsel to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr Samuel Daji, however, urged the court to convict the defendants as charged.

He argued that the convict and the nominal complainant had not been on talking terms, thereby making the terms of restitution difficult to meet.

He also prayed the court to order the defendant to forfeit his property in order to pay up the debt.

“My lord, from the evidence before this court, the defendant is not committed. It has been nine good years my lord. A dollar was N150 at the time the loan was granted to the defendant.

The defendant does not even greet the nominal complainant unless it is of utmost necessity. “There is an evidence that the defendants never want to settle this case.

The defence counsel said he is a pastor. My lord, the more reason he should be given a custodial sentence in order to serve as a deterrent to others.

“The court has stated mandatory sentence. We shall be asking for restitution. I shall be urging the court to order the defendant to forfeit his property so as to use it to pay his debt,” Daji said.

The EFCC counsel had submitted that the defendant issued a Standard Chartered Bank Nigeria Ltd. cheque of 1.6 million dollars payable to GOSL Nigeria Ltd.

He said when presented for payment, the cheque was dishonoured on the ground that there were no sufficient funds standing to the credit of the account on which the cheque was drawn.

The offences contravened Sections 1(1) (b) of the Dishonoured Cheques (Offences) Act, Cap D 11 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004, and Section 285 (1) of the Criminal Law of Lagos State and section 1(3) of the Advance Fee Fraud and other Fraud Related Offences.

A man can cheat on you and still love you with every breath of his life – US-based Kenyan preacher Dr. K N Jacob, says

Popular US-based Kenyan pastor and motivational speaker, Dr. KN Jacob has said that a man can cheat on a woman and still love her with every breath of his life.

The life coach, who stated this on Sunday August 7, said love and sex are not synonymous, hence a man can sleep with a woman but his heart is totally locked by the love of his life. “If he loves me, he wouldn’t cheat on me! WRONG.

A man can cheat on you and he still loves you with every breath of his life. We can debate on this oxymoron until thy kingdom come,” he wrote. “From a woman’s perspective, you can’t love me and hurt me at the same time. If you love me, you don’t share love with other women.

You shouldn’t even notice other beauties “From a man’s perspective, love and sex are not synonymous. Sex is for pleasure, not necessarily love and intimacy. A man can sleep with a woman but his heart is totally locked by the love of his life.

Real men know what I’m saying is the truth. But of course, we have plastic men who’ll come here breathing fire to defend the feminine perspective to score points with their wife or girlfriend

“A man can be ‘committed’ but not disciplined. Another paradox. That a man had an affair doesn’t mean he wants to destroy his marriage. Discipline lets many guys down.

Stolen waters often taste sweeter “The solution to this old-age dilemma is being fully accountable to your wife. So long as you don’t want her to question your whereabouts, you’ll indulge in hanky-panky.”

Davido reacts after a pastor prophesied that he’ll be poisoned

Nigerian music star and record label executive, David Adeleke also known as Davido, has prayed for himself after a Nigerian pastor shared a terrifying prophecy about him.

In a video serving rounds online, the yet-to-be identified pastor prophesied about how there’s an impending danger as the DMW boss will be poisoned by someone living in his house.

The cleric revealed that although he has prayed about the vision which was shown to him multiple times, God told him that it would come to pass regardless.

I told you about one singer, Davido. They will poison him; I don’t know him and I have never seen him in my life. They will put something in his drink; he will be rushed to the hospital, will be admitted and unconscious. The person that will poison him is sleeping in his house.

I’ve been dealing with it in prayer but the lord said it will happen. And the person that will poison him is sleeping in his house. Somebody give the lord a clap offering,” the man of God said in the video.

He added; “Did he die? I didn’t see him die? But he will lose something in his body that will handicap him”.

Reacting, Davido went spiritual and offered a prayer for himself against the realization of the prophecy.

He wrote on Twitter; “God will expose and deal with any wickedness around me near or far AMEN .. I’m blessed”.

It can’t get up – Pastor cries out for help after side chic ‘locked’ his manhood

A South African Pastor has cried out for help over the numbness of his manhood, accusing his side chick of being responsible.

According to the man, his mistress ‘locked his manhood’ for breaking up with her.

The 47-year-old Pastor told Daily Sun that the lady who had been asking when he will divorce his wife, didn’t take the break-up very well when he first called off their romantic relationship in March.

He said the relationship continued but it was no longer as much fun. The cleric said when he confronted her about it, she gave him an attitude and said she doesn’t have a reason to respect an unfaithful man.

The Pastor from Glenvista in Johannesburg, said; “Sometimes when I asked to see her, she’d tell me she’s with another man

“I realised this one was trouble so I ended the relationship. That didn’t go well.

“She told me I’ll regret the day I met her and she’d destroy my marriage in any way she could.”

He further revealed that he noticed that he had become impotent after trying to have sex with his wife in April. It continued even after he visited a urologist who gave him some pills and advised him to eat healthy.

The Pastor said; “Last month, I tried again but the same thing happened. My heart dropped as my 4-5 hanged its head.

“I really regret what I did to my wife. I want my life back

“When I asked her what she did, she told me I messed with the wrong woman and ended the call.”

He said when he tried calling her back, she didn’t answer. Asked if he’s visited a sangoma (native doctor), he said he’s a man of God and doesn’t believe in those practices.

I know the nyatsi has something to do with this, but I don’t think I want to take that route to fix my problem.”

Speaking to Daily Sun via telephone, the 28-year-old side chick said she assumed the pastor dated her because he loved her and planned to divorce his wife.

Asked if she indeed locked his penis, she reportedly laughed and then said he will learn to stop toying with women’s feelings before ending the call.

She said; “He’s a man of God and I didn’t think he was just using me for a poke. I thought what we had was real.”

However a urologist, Dr Kenneth Mulongo said most of these cases are caused by a combination of physical and emotional problems. He advised the pastor to come see him.

Mulongo said; “Just about any medical condition that affects your nerves or blood vessels could hurt your ability to have an erection.”

A native doctor, Joseph Dungamanzi confirmed the man’s penis was locked and also said nothing will work until he goes for a cleansing.

Pastor who accused Apostle Suleman of sleeping with his wife releases evidence of conversation with OFM founder

A former pastor of the Omega Fire Ministries International, Mike Davids, has released audio evidence on how the founder of the church, Apostle Johnson Suleman, allegedly threatened to “make him disappear.”

The audio excerpt which is currently marking the rounds on social media was on the alleged conversation between Apostle Suleman and Davids shortly after the former OFM pastor accused his mentor of sleeping with his wife.

In the audio clip which was sent to the Nigeria Police Force as part of a petition against Apostle Suleman, a voice purported to be that of OFM General Overseer was heard threatening to make Davids disappear.

The voice said: “I avoided you because of the way you talk but it is clear to me that you are possessed with a demon. The same thing that made me avoid you, you keep repeating them. You will die prematurely. God will punish you. Whatever you are looking for in this life, you will not get it.

“I stepped aside to make this call. You will die an untimely death. From the day I noticed you don’t know how to talk, I stopped talking to you. It is like you didn’t notice. I was free, I was chatting from the day I noticed your mind; you don’t know how to talk.

“When I noticed it because I am very temperamental; my temper is not good. That is why I am telling you tonight. I will make you disappear.”

When asked to explain what he meant by making him to “disappear,” the voice responded by saying “You are a bastard. Get off my phone”.

The call ended thereafter.

This came a few days after Pastor Davids filed a N20 billion lawsuit against Apostle Suleman for unlawfully interfering in his marriage.
