Police dismisses report on attempted abduction of music star in Rivers

The Rivers State police command on Monday dismissed the report on the attempted abduction of music star, Teniola Akpata, aka Teni, in the state.

Reports emerged on social media that gunmen stormed the venue of a live concert at Buguma, Asari-Toru Local Government Area of Rivers State on Sunday and fired several gunshots in an attempt to kidnap the singer.

The command spokesperson, Grace Iringi-Koko, who made the clarification in a statement in Port Harcourt, said the gunshots heard at the venue of the concert were fired by security operatives.

She said: “Contrary to what many thought was an attempt to kidnap the singer, the gunshots heard in the background were from security operatives who were shooting in the air to repel some disgruntled element who were throwing objects at Teni while on stage.”

The spokesperson added that police had opened an investigation into the cause of the mayhem at the event.

Music star, Davido responds as MI Abaga begs him for a hit collabo

David Adeleke, the superstar singer popularly known as Davido has responded to ace rapper, MI Abaga’s plea to collaborate with him for a hit song.

MI Abaga had taken to his Twitter account on Wednesday to ask for a collaboration while responding to Davido’s tweet requesting money from those he had blessed with hit songs.

The DMW boss had in a Twitter post, asked for some money in order to clear his rolls Royce from the port.

As of Wednesday night, Davido has so far received N130m from his friends, fans and colleagues.

MI Abaga, who also gifted the ”FEM” crooner N1m, quoted the singer’s tweet and shared a receipt of the money he sent.

The rapper wrote: “You people that got a hit song from David know say it’s worth way more! I want my own hit song with Davido.”

“Can I send mine to get a hit song as well!? Album de load.”

The Osun-born artiste then gave a positive reply.

”I got you send,” Davido tweeted.

DJ Cuppy about to shock her billionaire father by becoming a music STAR

Billionaire heiress, Florence Otedola popularly known as DJ Cuppy says she is on her way to proving to her father that she can succeed way beyond his imagination.

The Disc Jockey in a post via her official Twitter handle, revealed that she is on a mission to become a huge STAR, career-wise.

According to her, she would be a STAR bigger than her billionaire father had ever thought.

Sharing some photos for herself, Cuppy wrote;
