Gospel singer, Sammie Okposo dies at 51

Gospel singer Sammie Okposo, has died at 51.

He sadly passed on today, November 25.

The singer had been in the hospital for some days where he was receiving treatment for an undisclosed ailment.

He was said to have been recuperating but unfortunately, his health deteriorated this morning leading to his death.

The singer is survived by his wife, Ozioma, and his children.

Gospel singer, Segun Obe, replies people criticizing him for participating in secular reality show

Popular Nigerian gospel artiste, Segun Obe has responded to those who are criticizing him for participating in a secular reality show.

The gospel recording artiste who currently serves as a judge on a ‘non-christian’ musical show known as Voice It Out stated that people do not need to criticize him for his involvement with other entertainment endeavours.

Taking to his Instagram page on Tuesday morning, Obe stated that people whose lives are not anywhere close to perfect have opinions about the lives of others.

Read what he wrote below;

”I usually don’t address issues that fly around cause I am too busy to focus on irrelevant things but I must do this to create some sort of balance…”

He continued;

“People like to have an opinion about your life and advise other people on their social media pages when their own lives are not ANYWHERE close to perfect, if you will make a post stylishly throwing shades at me cause I am currently working on a (non christian) project at the moment, please do it to my face or tag me in it so we can talk one to one.

I am and REMAIN a gospel artist and a devoted christian, my job on the other hand is just that…

A JOB, if you turn yourself to ASSISTANT JESUS overnight and feel the need to condemn me in your heart it’s fine, at the end of the day, THE LORD KNOWETH THEM THAT ARE HIS, Thank God that man ain’t God though.”

The concluding part of his statement reads;

“I will NEVER address this issue again cause your opinion at the end of the day means ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to me.

There is therefore now NO CONDEMNATION to those who are in Christ Jesus, if my resent posts irritate you, feel free to use the BLOCK or UNFOLLOW buttons on your device.

Nigerian gospel musician, Dare Melody has acquired a multimillion naira duplex to celebrate his birthday.

The singer turned a new age today, 14th of October 2021 and he took to social media to reveal that he is now a homeowner.

Dare expressed gratitude to God for the latest acquisition as he shared photos of the palatial house located in Lagos.

Nigerian singer, Chidinma Ekile has visited a beer parlour to preach the word of God just days after she announced her switch from secular to gospel music.

The Project Fame West Africa winner recently made headlines when she unveiled herself as Minister Chidinma, who will now be singing gospel songs.

She also revamped her page in a way that suits her new status.

Chidinma is not leaving any stone unturned in her quest for gaining souls for Christ as she shared a video of herself preaching the gospel of God to drinkers in a beer parlour.

Sharing the clip, the songstress wrote: “Street Evangelism. The other day during our street evangelism.”

Gospel singer, Quincy Tebite Dtisio and wife welcome a baby after 27 years of marriage

Nigerian Gospel singer, Evangelist Quincy Tebite Dtisio has welcomed his first child with his wife after 27 years of marriage.

The artiste is a proud father of a baby girl, after decades of praying and hoping for the fruit of the womb.

Quincy is the Governor of the Performing Musicians and Employers Association of Nigeria (PMAN) Delta State chapter.

The good news was shared on Facebook by friends, colleagues and family members of the couple.

One Reverend Oshehore Frank Abiri, wrote:

“Waaaaaooo, what God cannot do does not really exist. After 27 years of marriage God has finally smiled on us. The Quincy Tebite family, the Anglican family, the Olomu kingdom, all Christian musicians and performing Artists etc raise our voices of praise in adoration to Jehovah Overdo. Waiting on God is really golden. 27 years is not 27 minutes o. Thank God for the grace to wait”
