2020/2021 Premier league season is indeed a tough one for all English clubs in the league. Few weeks after the beginning of the season, Liverpool have been considered favorite for the league this season but 1:0 loss to Southampton at St Mary’s stadium on Monday have given the Red Devils an open chance to top the premier league table for the first time in 16 months.
Manchester United have shown an incredible display this season having won 10 games, drawn 3 and lost 3 matches. The Reds who now sits second in the premier league table could move ahead of Liverpool to secure the first spot for the first time since the opening weekend of last season.
Having just 33 points same as Liverpool, United Will only top the league table if they secure a win against Burnley on Tuesday 12 January 2020.
Both teams (Manchester United and Liverpool) will then play against each other at Anfield on Saturday 17 January 2021 (A match which will decide who remains at the top of the table).
