Relationships should not be used as an excuse for laziness or for one party to have more influence than the other. Any partnership that causes pain for the individuals involved should be treated as “nothing.” Do you believe that in a love relationship, a boyfriend can order his girlfriend in any way, particularly when it comes to financial issue?

A lady identified as @Ayomiepat on Twitter gave us a perfect tweet that matched what I’ve been saying since. She explained how her new friend quit her job to follow her boyfriend’s instructions, but the outcome was bad after all.

According to her, the lady in question (whose name was not revealed) possibly told her boyfriend about her boss’s interest in her, which did not go well with the guy (boyfriend), and he ordered her to resign from her job, to fulfill his decision, she did. But the most surprising part is that the guy left her and got engaged to another lady in January, just days after she resigned from that job and they continued their love journey.

Don’t you see how surprising this is? We must show utmost caution because it can happen to either a woman or a man. Being obedient in a partnership is admirable, but when it comes to your source of income, try to look and consider before acting.
