Lagos housewife packages narcotics in fetish bowls, arrested.

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency on Sunday said its operatives arrested a 27-year-old drug queen, Opoola Mujidat, for planting drugs concealed in fetish bowls containing “scary native black soap and sponge” on two Oman-bound male passengers at the departure hall of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos.

The passengers, Raji Kazeem and Akinbobola Omoniyi, were reportedly travelling together to Oman on an Ethiopian Airline flight on Monday, July 11, when they were intercepted by NDLEA operatives at the airport.

The spokesman for the agency, Femi Babafemi, in a statement on Sunday, said, “A search of their luggage revealed wraps of cannabis sativa hidden in bowls of native black soap and sponge packed into a bag containing food items, which Kazeem was carrying.”

The statement noted that both Kazeem and Omoniyi immediately alerted the anti-narcotic officers that Mujidat, who was still within the vicinity, gave the bag containing the illicit substance to them at the airport and she was promptly arrested.

The lady was said to have accepted responsibility, stating that she brought the luggage for the two passengers to give to her husband in Oman.

“Mujidat, who hails from Oyo East LGA in Oyo State, confessed during a preliminary interview that the bag containing the food items was packed by her with different items, including the black soap used to conceal the illicit substance,” the statement added.

25-yrs-old Japanese woman arrested for death of 77-yrs-old billionaire husband

A 25-year-old Japanese woman, Saki Sudo, has been arrested for allegedly killing her billionaire husband, Kosuke Nozaki, on the suspicion that she fed him poison over a period of time.

Sudo was arrested on Thursday for the death of Nozaki who used to describe himself as the ‘Japanese Don Juan,’ after a series of investigations and autopsy revealed he did not die a natural death, just months into their marriage.

Nozaki, who was the president of a liquor sales company and real estate business, died in 2018 at the age of 77 of acute poisoning.

His widow, who was 22 at that time, is suspected of killing Nozaki by making him take a large amount of a stimulant drug orally, as there were no needle marks on his body, a police report said.

The report added that Sudo had allegedly researched stimulants on the internet before variously administering it to Nozaki.

Before his death, Nozaki had written how he spent ¥3 billion ($A35 million) on wooing 4000 beautiful women.

Nozaki, who was popular for his autobiography ‘Don Juan of Kishu’ reportedly said:

“The reason I make money is to date attractive women.

“When I find a woman of my type, tall and voluptuous, I would tell her, ‘I want to go out with you and have sex with you; I’ll give you ¥400,000 ($A4726) if you agree.”

Before his sudden death, Nozaki left a will saying he wanted to donate ¥1.3 billion ($A15 million) to the Wakayama city where he lived.

But because half of his fortune goes to his widow under civil law, the city in Wakayama, had been in talks with Sudo about splitting the money.

Former Katsina council chairman arrested over suspected links with bandits who kidnapped Kankara students

A former Caretaker Chairman of the Jibia local government area of Katsina state, Haruna Musa Mato, has been arrested by the state Police Command for alleged links with the bandits who kidnapped 344 students of the Government Science Secondary School, Kankara, in December 2020.

The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Gambo Isah, who confirmed the arrest of Mato on Sunday, said intelligence gathering and detailed investigations led to the discovery that Mota was aiding and abetting bandits operating in the state.

Isah, who did not disclose when Mato was arrested, added that the former Chairman has already been charged to court over the allegations.

He added that he is currently being remanded in a Katsina correctional centre pending the time the police would complete investigations on the case and when the state Ministry of Justice would issue legal advice on his case.

According to a police source, the arrest of Mota was made possible when an audio interview he allegedly had with some bandits over the December abduction of the Kankara students leaked and the police traced the audio to him.

The said interview, according to the source, was reportedly about the exact figure the bandits got from the government for the release of the boys and that he had been short changed by the abductors.

The suspects are detained at Katwe Police Station and are being charged with doing acts that are likely to cause the spread of infectious disease, which is corona virus.

On the onset of the COVID19 pandemic, the president directed that music concerts should be stopped and the directives still stands.
