“I don’t have anything to say to them. For those who want to do it, I will just advise them to go to the right hospital where it will be done well without complications. If one has the money and one feels one’s stomach is too big, or one is not comfortable with one’s body, one can go for it. It is not a big deal. Like doctors often say, every surgery has a 50/50 chance, no matter how small it is. I don’t know why people condemn it so much to the point of making those who do it feel like they are committing a sin.
”Speaking on how she feels at this point in her career, Bakare said,
“I am not there yet but I am thankful to God for how far He has brought me. I pray for more strength, grace, and all the good things of life.”

Actors Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornel Agbogidi released by kidnappers Actors Guild of Nigeria have announced that kidnapped actors, Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Agbogidi have been released by their abductors.
According to a statement released by the Actors Guild of Nigeria on its official Instagram page on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, the movie stars were released unhurt and in healthy conditions.
It read;”
This is to gladly inform the public that the kidnapped actors Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornel Agbogidi have been released unhurt. The elated National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Ejezie Emeka Rollas announced their release by the abductors who were touched by the spirit of God to set them free and unharmed.
The Guild has arranged for medical checks and psychological support for the victims. On behalf of their families, the National President expressed our heartfelt appreciation to Nollywood industry and Nigerians at large for the support and prayers during the trying period.”
“He urged members to be security conscious on and off film sets and always take precautionary measures on their personal security at all times. Okereke and Agbogidi were kidnapped on Friday, July 29, while they were returning from a movie set at Ozalla town in Enugu state.
On Saturday, their abductors contacted their families, demanding $100,000 as ransom. However AGN President, Emeka Rollas said the guild was only able to raise N1.2 million.
In a video clip on social media, he said “While talking to the abductors, we were trying to explain to them that we were putting some funds together, we were contributing. We said that we have about N1.2 million. And they started laughing at us.
They started mocking us and saying, ‘all those your celebrities posting on Instagram, why haven’t they contributed?’
The actors have however, been released but the statement didn’t say if a ransom was paid for their release.
Kannywood actress, Hafsat Idris has been sued by a film production company identified as UK Entertainment over alleged breach of contract.
In a suit before a Kano High Court 14 sitting at Ungogo Local Government, the actress was accused of collecting N1.3 million to feature in a TV series but ended up not fulfilling the terms of the agreement reportedly signed by both parties.
The plaintiff claimed damages were incurred by the production outfit due to the breach of contract by the actress, and is asking the court to award N10 million as damages.
The defendant, through her attorney, filed a formal response to the claims.
The court has adjourned the case for hearing.
Nollywood actress, Mimi Orjiekwe has dashed the hopes of single people after she stated in an Instagram post that just because they are searching for true love doesn’t mean they will ever find it.

However, he cajoled me and we stayed back in his house.
He tried to have sex with me and when I refused, he slapped me very hard. I told him it was the time of my menstrual cycle. But, he insisted that he wanted to confirm. He later confirmed and apologised. I did not sleep till 5am when I left his house the next day. This happened in 2006 or 2008. I have been more careful since then.”
The actress who urged victims to speak out regardless of when the incident happened also said she wished she met her rapist before he died. She added, “When I told my rape story on social media, I found out that the guy had died. I was told he was killed during a robbery. I was hoping to meet him and I would have paid him back for what he did to me.
Nollywood actress, Biodun Okeowo has admonished her followers to appreciate celebrities and shower them with words of affirmation whenever they can.
Taking to her Instagram page on Tuesday, the Nollywood actress revealed some of the sacrifices that entertainers have to make for their audience.

American voice actress and singer, Grey DeLisle-Griffin has revealed that she got married at the age of 19 and it crashed after a silly slip up on her part.
According to her, it was her first marriage, and she told her husband during a game of scrabble that she was cheating.
Grey, narrating the story on Twitter, said that during the scrabble game, her husband asked if she was cheating, and she broke down in tears confessing to being unfaithful.
But what she did not know was that her husband was asking if she was cheating at the scrabble game.
She wrote on Twitter;
”I got married at 19 and things ended when we were playing Scrabble. He asked me if I was cheating and I immediately broke down crying and tearfully confessed everything…because I didn’t realize he was talking about the game.”
A Magistrates Court in Lagos State has ordered that a DNA paternity test should be conducted on the daughter of a Yoruba movie star, Ronke Odusanya.
M. O. Tanimola, the magistrate, gave the order on Wednesday when the case was brought before her at Court 8, Samuel Ilori Court House, Ogba, Ikeja magisterial district, Lagos.
The estranged lovers welcomed their daughter in 2019.
The curvy actress and the father of her child, Olanrewaju Saheed, popularly known as Jago, are currently in court for several reasons including the welfare of their daughter, Oluwafifehanmi.
When the matter came up in court on Wednesday, Saheed, through his lawyer, requested the court to order a DNA test to ascertain the paternity of the child, on the grounds of suspicion of infidelity.
The actress and her lawyer agreed to the request on the condition that the DNA fees and other bills be footed by Saheed.
The actress’ lawyer also pleaded with the court to ensure it is a court-supervised DNA test.
Ms Tanimola, ruling, decided on an undisclosed hospital on Lagos Island for the test to be done, and for the results to be sent directly to the court.
She adjourned the case till March 31, for further hearing.
In December 2020, both parties were enmeshed in a messy separation scandal that was broken by a popular Instagram gossip blog.
Among other things, the blog alleged that the famous actress ‘‘ruined the father of her child, financially by making him sell off his assets to fulfill her luxurious desires.”
Responding to the allegations, the movie star said in a post on her Instagram page that the rumours were untrue but she had chosen to remain calm as the truth would eventually reveal itself.
While my silence will be taken for cowardice, I will be calm because the truth always reveals itself. I can defend myself but I won’t, i want my daughter to grow up reading such irritating and fact-less information. The court of social media has always been myopic and manipulative.
“Remember you did not make me, you cannot break me. Bank statements can reveal who has been receiving money from who and for what. Investigate before publishing. For the platform used for peddling such absurdity, seeds sown will surely germinate,” she said.
Odusanya, 47, made her acting debut in the 2001 Yoruba film, “Baba Ologba.”

Amber Heard’s attorney released a statement in response to Johnny Depp’s legal team’s claim that the actress didn’t donate the $7 million she received as part of their divorce settlement.
Amber Heard is speaking out about Johnny Depp’s legal team’s claim that she hasn’t donated the money from their divorce settlement to charities, as she promised she would in 2016.
According to a new report by The Daily Mail published Thursday, Jan. 7, the Pirates of the Caribbean actor’s lawyers say they intend to use the allegation as part of their efforts to appeal British High Court judge Andrew Nichol’s decision in Depp’s defamation case against The Sun. In that case, Nichol sided with The Sun, arguing in his decision, “Her donation of the $7 million to charity is hardly the act one would expect of a gold-digger.”
In a statement to E! News, the Aquamanactress’ attorney Elaine Bredehoft confirms her client has yet to fulfill the $7 million pledge she made to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and the American Civil Liberties Union, citing financial reasons.
“Amber has already been responsible for seven figures in donations to charitable causes and intends to continue to contribute and eventually fulfill her pledge,” Bredehoft explains. “However, Amber has been delayed in that goal because Mr. Depp filed a lawsuit against her, and consequently, she has been forced to spend millions of dollars defending Mr. Depp’s false accusations against her.”
In a statement to E! News, a Children’s Hospital Los Angeles spokesperson says, “Due to circumstances of the litigation, CHLA is legally precluded from sharing details about the case publicly.”
The ACLU did not return requests for comment.
Bredehoft also alleges that Depp’s legal representatives are purposefully speculating about the status of Heard’s donation to draw focus away from the actor’s ongoing legal woes.
She claims, “Mr. Depp’s effort to plant stories in the media criticizing Amber for not yet fulfilling all the donations she pledged to charity is yet another desperate attempt to divert attention from the UK Court’s findings relating to allegations of Mr. Depp committing domestic abuse and violence.”
Following Judge Nichol’s decision, Depp was asked to exit his role as Grindelwald in the film Fantastic Beasts. While he’s no longer starring in the Warner Bros. film, The Hollywood Reporter wrote at the time that Depp will still receive the full salary for the project.
Mads Mikkelsen is now set to apprise the rolein the third installment of the movie, which is based on J.K. Rowling’s books.
Meanwhile, Depp is currently suing Heard for defamation in the British High Court, arguing that the actress’ allegations of domestic abuse in The Washington Post were all part of an “elaborate hoax.” Because of the alleged damage her accusations caused his career, Depp is suing Heard for defamation and asking for damages in excess of $50,000,000. Amber denied the allegations, with her attorney claiming to E! News that Depp was trying to “silence” her.
E! News reached out to Depp’s rep and legal team for comment. They did not hear back.
