Anthony Joshua and DJ Cuppy spark dating rumours with new video (Watch)

World boxing heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua has sparked dating rumours with Florence Otedola, alias DJ Cuppy as both were seen sharing a fun time in a recreation centre in the United Kingdom.

A video shared on DJ Cuppy’s Instagram page showed Joshua setting up a board for a game of chess, while Cuppy who was holding her two puppies engaged the boxing champion in a conversation.

Joshua, who was shirtless and only had his joggers and white trainers on, was fascinated about Cuppy’s dogs and took a moment to play with one of them.

The video ended with both sharing a warm hug as Joshua planted a kiss on her cheek.

Popular Nigerian Disc Jockey, Florence ”DJ Cuppy” Otedola, has set social media abuzz with a recent post she made on Twitter.

The musician cum producer, in a tweet on Tuesday, hinted that she loves sleeping with fan, and this singular comment left fans guessing if she is having intimate relations with a fan.

Cuppy tweeted; ”Why is sleeping with fan so SWEET?”

Reacting, some of the DJ’s followers and fans asked her to clarify what she meant. While some thought she was speaking about sleeping with a fan, others said that she was actually referring to sleeping with a ceiling or standing fan on.

Daddy duties: Davido takes his first daughter, Imade to school (Video)

Nigerian singer, Davido has begun his daddy duties again by taking his first daughter Imade to school himself.

In a short video clip he shared on Insta-story, the father of three could be seen hugging and cuddling her all over while they ride to school.

Fans have hailed the singer for taking his daughter to school by himself as part of his duties as a father to be able to bond with her..

Imade is his first child and daughter whom he had with Sophia Momodu.

Drama as married woman and her lover get stuck together while ”doing the thing”

A married woman’s intimate moment with her secret lover turned sour after the two got stuck together.

The incident happened on Wednesday morning in Gulu city, in the Northern Region of Uganda.

Neigbours gathered to witness the outcome of their shameful act which took place in her matrimonial home on June 16.

A Facebook user, Pai Robins OgwengAkiiki, shared the story, narrating how the pair became worried after engaging in sexual intercourse as their organs could not separate

All the efforts by the duo to separate from each other proved abortive so they raised an alarm which attracted residents and the police.

They were eventually separated by the woman’s husband after he touched their waists.

The two are now in police custody.

Pai Robins wrote; “Cheating sexually is bad. #There was drama this morning in Gulu city as a married woman who was having sexual intercourse with another man got stucked like dogs.in that after they were done with sex,their sexual organs could not seperate but was stucked in that it failed to seperate however much they tried.

They started making alarms that attracted police and locals.It was after the real husband of this woman came and touched their waist, there sexual organs then got separated. the two are now in police custody…i want to be like this woman’s real husband.”

Davido never bought a Rolls Royce, it’s his father’s own – Nollywood Actor claims (Video)

Controversial Nigerian actor, Uche Maduagwu has alleged that the Rolls Royce which Davido recently flaunted as his own, actually belongs to his billionaire father, Adedeji Adeleke.

Uche who is known for criticising the DMW label boss, took to his Instagram account to state that Davido never bought any Rolls Royce.

He shared a video and challenged the singer to refute his claim, saying that he would leave the country if OBO denies the allegation.

Uche wrote; ‘‘I go comot for naija if #davido can open his mouth to deny sey the #RollsRoyce he post on social media no be his papa own.

According to sources, baba ifeanyi no buy am, it was allegedly gotten by his #dad, even david only made mention of RR in his post and not Rolls Royce, RR na rented rented e rent am for his papa garage.”

He added; ‘‘Na zuzu no make am get the boldness to talk sey e buy RollsRoyce oga only put RR, because e no sey truth go come out, so d tori na sey his papa allegedly bought two brand new cars and one of dem na this and as usual davido rush to post am like e did to the privatejet. Wizkid brags about “Essence” being the biggest song in the world (Video)

Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Balogun also known as Wizkid is one artiste who fans say has paid his dues and deserves every bragging right.

Well, the Grammy winner decided to cash in that bragging right recently while on his tour in Abuja.

Wizkid who has been in Abuja since the weekend, bragged about his track, Essence being the biggest song in the world.

He made the declaration the Wizkid Live Party in Abuja at Hustle & Bustle (Spinall), where the superstar requested for the DJ to play him the “Biggest song” in the World.

According to Wizkid, Essence is not the biggest song in Nigeria or Africa and but in the whole world.

While speaking about song which features Tems, he informed fans that Essence is the most played song in Lagos, Abuja, Nigeria and the biggest in Nairobi, Kenya, Africa and The World.

Instagram deletes Adamu Garba’s page

Instagram has deleted the page of former presidential aspirant, Adamu Garba, from its platform.

This comes barely two days after Google deleted his Crowwe app from the Play Store.

A recent check showed that Instagram had taken down the APC Chieftain’s IG account from the popular image and video sharing app, with his page displaying ‘the user not found.’

When contacted on Tuesday for comments on the development, Garba told The Gazette that Instagram took down his account because some users reported him.

“It was reported by some users and was disabled by Instagram,” he said.

The reason for reporting Garba’s account was unclear as of the time of filing this report. But lately, he has received a public backlash regarding his Crowwe app accused of disingenuity.

Instagram is known for banning accounts that violate its policy or reported for spam, fraud, or a fake account.

His deleted Crowwe app had suffered a similar fate when Twitter users criticised the application on various grounds, including its privacy policy.

Twitter rejected FG’s demand to delete Nnamdi Kanu’s account – Lai Mohammed

The Federal Government has said that Twitter rejected its demand to delete the account of the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.

Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed made this known on Tuesday, when he featured on a Radio Nigeria call-in programme.

He said it was unfair to conclude that Twitter was suspended in the country because President Muhammadu Buhari’s message was deleted.

Mohammed accused the microblogging site of consistently offering its platform to promote agenda that were inimical to the corporate existence of Nigeria.

He said; “Twitter has become a platform of choice for a particular separatist promoter.

“The promoter consistently used the platform to direct his loyalists to kill Nigerian soldiers and policemen, run-down INEC offices and destroy all symbols of Nigeria’s sovereignty.

“Every attempt to persuade Twitter to deny its platform to this separatist leader was not taken serious.’’

Recall that Mohammed had alleged that Twitter and its founder Jack Dorsey have made several attempts to destabilise the country.

He disclosed few days ago that the social networking service refused to take down offensive tweets of leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, describing Nigeria as a zoo.

“Before its suspension, we made several pleas to them to remove the tweets where Nigeria is described as a zoo where all of us are described as monkeys.’‘ he said.

Burna Boy performs Fela’s song at his grandfather’s 85th birthday (Video)

Grammy award winner, Burna Boy recently rendered an electric performance at his grandfather, the legendary Benson Idonije’s birthday.

The ”Dangote” crooner’s granddad clocked 85 on Sunday, June 13, 2021 and the singer decided to celebrate it with a nostalgic performance for him.

In a video from the event which has gone viral on social media, Burna could be seen singing Fela’s classic, ‘Lady’.

Benson Idonije is a veteran in the Nigerian entertainment space and once managed Afrobeats pioneer, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.

Channels TV asks activist to remove #BuhariMustGo shirt before going on air (Video)

An activist, Adeyeye Olorunfemi, has revealed that he was asked to remove his #BuhariMustGo T-shirt before going live on a Channels Television programme on Monday.

Olorunfemi, however, walked out of the programme after refusing to remove the T-shirt.

He stated that he chose to walk out of the studio rather than continue with the interview because doing that was tantamount to compromising on his belief.

He noted that he was offered a jacket to wear, to cover the #BuhariMustGo inscription on his T-shirt but he refused as it was “too absurd” for him.

The activist did a live video in the Channels TV office, where he explained what occurred.

I told Google to take down my app from Play Store – Adamu Garba

Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and IT strategist, Adamu Garba, says he asked Google to take down his social media app, Crowwe from Play Store because he needed to update the code.

The Chief Executive Officer of IPI group said this during a chat with The PUNCH on Monday.

He added that the app would be back up latest by Tuesday.

Garba, who backed the ban of Twitter in Nigeria, said that since the microblogging site was suspended over a week ago, thousands of Nigerians had migrated to Crowwe.

He added that it was in a bid to make some improvements that he asked Google to take down the app.

On whether the app was removed due to the complaints by Nigerians, Garba said this was not true, adding that Google does not remove apps from its Playstore solely because of complaints.

“We took down Crowwe App because we are trying to update the codes and then put it back up. There are some bugs which we identified which can prevent future downloads so we decided to bring it down, edit the code and then put it back up.

Yes, a lot of people have been posting reports but it has no effect on the app. The truth is that before you publish an app, you have to pass through a lot of audits and a lot of these people commenting don’t know.

The app being installed has nothing to do with the user but has everything to do with the app itself. There is a bug affecting the contact list information so we had to submit a support report to take it down which was done. We are almost done with the publishing and we will push it back and it might be installed tonight or tomorrow morning,” he said.

I wholeheartedly support Buhari’s Twitter ban – Ned Nwoko

Billionaire businessman and politician, Ned Nwoko has said that he is ‘wholeheartedly’ in support of President Muhammadu Buhari’s ban on Twitter.

Nwoko said this while speaking at a June 12 lecture organised by the Correspondents Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Abuja Council.

On the current issue with Twitter in Nigeria, I wholeheartedly support the position of the Federal Government,” he said.

According to him, social media needs to be controlled and regulated in countries.

There should be a measure of control and regulation for social media in countries where they have a presence,” he said.

Nwoko added that social media platforms must pay taxes to governments and provide employment for some Nigerians for the over 100 million population that subscribed to their services.

Recall the Buhari-led government suspended Twitter indefinitely in Nigeria citing the persistent use of the platform for activities capable of undermining Nigeria’s corporate existence.

Google deletes Adamu Garba’s app from PlayStore

Nigerian politician and IT consultant, Adamu Garba’s hopes of having his social media app fill in a vacuum created by the ban on Twitter’s operations in Nigeria appears to have been dashed.

His social media application, Crowwe has been removed from Google play store.

The Crowwe app, which has been described as an instant messaging and financial transaction app that comes with a digital wallet that helps to transfer and receive money while chatting, has received terrible reviews.

Following the announcement of Twitter ban by the Federal Government of Nigeria, the former presidential candidate presented the Crowwe app as an alternative to the microblogging website that can help “to grow Nigeria.”

“This is the best opportunity to grow Nigeria to Build Nigeria, Crowwe to the World”, Garba tweeted.

He also expressed his excitement in an interview with Channels TV that the federal government has banned the operations of Twitter in the country.

Twitter users criticised the application on many grounds including its privacy policy. For instance, critics discovered that Crowwe’s Terms and Conditions were copied from another app, Spotify.

The app has since received terrible reviews which could be responsible for its disappearance on the play store app.

One of the reviews read; “This App represents everything that defines wrong. From the space it takes on phone, to the design interface and user experience, it makes me wonder if thoughts went into the development of this App. For the benefit of doubt, check the login icon and how unnecessarily bad it looks, the dashboard looks fraudulent and the trademark looks like that of ISIS. I am suspecting the App to be from that side. Please take it down so that people can be protected. Zero Star App.”

A search for the Crowwe application on PlayStore shows that it has disappeared.

Google removes applications that are perceived to have violated its policy.

Swae lee tattoos map of Africa on his leg, accepts his Nigerian roots

American rapper, Khalif Malik Ibn Shaman Brown better known as Swae Lee, has added a new tattoo to his body of art in recognition of his roots.

Swae Lee tattooed the map of Africa on his leg and got people talking after he posted it on social media.

The Rae Sremmurd former member who had once traced his African roots, found out that his DNA was linked to 12 countries with Nigeria being dominant at 25 percent.

Taking to his Insta-story, Swae posted a photo of his leg with the tattoo and captioned it with a Nigerian flag.

Meanwhile, the 28-year-old some months ago, described Nigerian music star, Ayodeji Balogun aka Wizkid as his twin.

Swae Lee stated this in response to a fan’s comment regarding the two award-winning musicians.

The fan had spoken on wanting to see Swae and Wizkid collaborate again, since their co-featured track Borrowed Love turned out to be a hit.

Grammy award-winning Nigerian singer, Ayodeji ”Wizkid” Balogun, has revealed that music is not the most important thing to him.

According to the artiste, the privilege of being a father is more important to him than his music.

In a documentary shared on his YouTube channel, Wizkid who is celebrating the tenth anniversary of his debut album, ‘Superstar’, said his first son Baluwatife is like his best friend.

The father of three also said that one of the things he learned from his parents was the love and importance of family.

In his words; “My son is like my best friend. He calls me every day and we have the craziest conversations. He is nine. It is very important for me to keep my family together. That is one thing my parents always instilled into us to understand that there is nothing more important than family. Fatherhood means everything to me. Before I used to see myself as a musician, but now, I see myself as a father. I am a father before anything else.”

Speaking on his spiritual life, he stated that as a child, he usually went to the mosque with his father, while he followed his mother to church.

Growing up in a very spiritual home in Lagos really opened my mind. My dad is a Muslim, while my mum is a Christian. I used to go to the mosque with my dad and go to the church with my mother. That really opened my mind to know that the biggest religion in life is love. Love is the biggest religion I follow. The most important thing to me is family”, he said.

Daughter of the founder of Synagogue Church of All Nationa (SCOAN), Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua better known as TB Joshua, has welcomed a new baby on her father’s posthumous birthday.

Serah Oyindamola Joshua, welcomed her son on June 12th 2021, the birthday of her late father, TB Joshua.

Two weeks ago, Nigerians woke up to the sad news of the cleric’s sudden death after he reportedly preached to his congregation. He would have been 58 years on 12th of June.

TB Joshua’s wife, Evelyn Joshua disclosed that she met him dead in his seat in the office.

In a recent development which serves as a blessing amid the pain, Sarah Joshua welcomed her son on Saturday, with her Tanzanian husband, Brian Ovin Moshi.

The couple tied the knot on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 in Lagos State, Nigeria.

Nigerian singer, Seyi Shay has been spotted vibing to a song by colleague Tiwa Savage, just days after they had an altercation in a salon.

Recall that last week, Tiwa and Seyi were caught on tape throwing insults at each other after the Nigerian Idol judge approached the ”All Over” crooner despite shading her on different occasions.

Tiwa, however, did not feel comfortable with the idea of Seyi greeting her after all the side talks and diss, so she confronted her about it and the exchange spiraled into a messy encounter.
