Singers, Innocent ”Tubaba” Idibia and Augustine Obiabo Amehdu aka Blackface, reunited at Mount Saint Gabriel’s College, Old Boys Association meeting over the weekend in Makurdi, Benue state.
Recall that the former members of defunct music group, Plantashun Boys have been at loggerheads over the years with Blackface constantly accusing Tubaba of stealing his songs including the monster hit “African Queen”.
On Saturday, the stars stormed the school and thrilled fellow old students of their alma mater.
This is, however, not the first time the musicians will be reuniting as they had done so at the Agatu Peace Concert in Abuja with Tubaba making a donation of N500,000 on behalf of himself and his ‘brother’ Blackface.
Also, during the service of songs of their ex-bandmate, Faze’s late twin sister in October last year, the duo also reunited with Faze to perform their old school classics.
However, such reunions often turn out to be short-lived as they always delve into fresh squabbles after each get together.
A couple whose love story dates back to their time in secondary school, have become husband and wife after 17 years of friendship.
The bride known as Funke Okunrinboye shared their story via her Instagram page as she narrated how she dreamt of marrying her Urhobo husband right from when they were in school.
Funke, a chemical engineer and biochemist, also recalled how she told her school friends that she had a dream where she was dressed as a Delta bride.
The woman explained that she and her heartthrob became friends in 2004, when they were in JSS2. They dated for one year, were engaged for a year and got married in October 2021, 17 years after they became friends.
She went on to share photos they both took in 2009 while graduating from secondary school, alongside recent photos taken at their traditional wedding as she narrated their love story.
Funke wrote; “Congratulations on being stuck with me forever. #thedavidz Urhobo Migwo!! Several years ago, back in high school I dreamt of this day and I told my HS sisters (@awoyinkaitunu and @undisputedjewel back then I saw myself dressed in beads as a delta bride.
It was all jokes at the time lol. Funny how dreams work. I laughed it off as a silly dream or as me just liking the delta female attires. To think we were even friends back then (better put I was your bully-friend). I never imagined. But you’ve stayed true. Loving me ever since we finished high school.”
Nigerian singing sensation Joeboy, has taken to social media to advise fans against ingesting harmful substances while participating in the viral #AlcoholChallenge.
Over the past week, a trend emanated on TikTok of fans recording themselves pouring different liquid and solid materials on their heads and even consuming them while Joeboy’s latest hit song, ”Alcohol” plays in the background.
His fans have been seen using dettol antiseptic, dirty water, hypo bleach, alcoholic drinks, plam oil, amongst other substances .
There have also been reported cases of some landing in the hospital after ingesting harmful materials.
Taking to his Twitter page, the musician who appreciated fans for showing his song much love, however appealed to them to avoid going to the extremes to participate.

Big Brother Naija 2021 winner, Hazel Onou, popularly known as White Money recently met business mogul, Obi Cubana and it was a happy moment for the reality TV star.
The Cubana Group CEO hosted White Money and Angel at his ‘Man of the Year’ award celebration which held at the Hustle & Bustle nightclub on Sunday.
During his time in the Big Brother house, White had described Obi Cubana as someone he looks up to and wishes to meet someday.

Nigerian night life aficionado, Pretty Mike, real name Eze-Nwaile Nwogu has opined in his Instagram post that marriage is an achievement regardless of people’s perspective about it.
He stated this in a post that he shared on the social media page, Instagram on Saturday.
According to the socialite, the society should not define what a beautiful marriage should be, instead, it should be the handiwork of the couple uniting.
Speaking in the post, Pretty Mike mentioned that most people in the society only claim ‘marriage is not success’ when they are unable to understand the value of coming together to build a family.
The opening part of his post reads;

A Nigerian man has taken to social media to share a hilarious interview experience he had with an energy company he applied to work for.
Chiagoziem revealed that when they were invited for the interview, the recruiters asked him and other applicants to dance Skelewu, a dance popularized by Nigerian singer, Davido years ago.
Davido created the dance to ryhme with his 2017 hit song, Skelewu.
While sharing his story, Chiagoziem with handle @thechiaman said he would never forgive the firm.

Veteran Nollywood actor Chiwetalu Agu has been released by the Nigerian Army 24 hours after he was arrested.
The comic thespian was arrested on Thursday in Onitsha, Anambra by the Nigerian Army for wearing a Biafra regalia. In a statement published on the social media platform of the military, he was accused of soliciting support and campaigning for the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and Eastern Security Network (ESN). The reports of the movie star’s release was shared by some of his colleagues on social media on Friday, October 8, 2021.

Nigerian disc jockey and activist, Obianuju Catherine Udeh, popularly known as DJ Switch, has said that Nigerian leaders are scared of its youths.
The DJ made this statement during her speech at the Oslo Freedom Forum.
In a video snippet of the event, she made reference to Afrobeats legend, Fela Anikulapo Kuti’s 1977 hit song, Zombie, where he likened the Nigerian Army to Zombies, tagging them as ‘mindless zombies following idiotic orders.’
She said; “As an artiste and a DJ, I listen to music a lot all the time and I am reminded of the legend — the artiste, Fela Anikulapo Kuti. Popular Nigerian songstress, Tiwa Savage, says that she is currently being blackmailed over a sex video which features she and her current lover.
The ”All Over” crooner made this revelation in an interview with American OAP, Angie Martinez of Power 105.1.
According to Tiwa Savage, her lover is as upset with the development.
She said; “Yesterday, I was leaving a radio station and I was in my car when my road manager sent me a message.
She said I should check my phone. I checked it and there was a video, and I was just like, ‘Wow!’

Nigerian entrepreneur, Fancy Acholonu allegedly called off her wedding with Nollywood actor, Alex Ekubo due to cheating claims and threat messages.
This was disclosed by Instagram blogger, Cutie Juls, who explained that a lady threatened Fancy after revealing that she and Alex were in a relationship.
Although Fancy had doubts, the unnamed lady shared a video of her supposedly in the actor’s house, which served as proof that they had something.

A retired staff of the Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST), has reportedly died during a threesome with two teenage girls in Akwa Ibom state.
It was gathered that the man was found dead in his residence at Udo Street in Uyo.
Speaking to Nigerian Tribune, a neighbour who craved anonymity, said the deceased was engaged in a sex orgy with two teenagers who he reportedly promised jobs in NIPOST when there are vacancies.
The source said; “The deceased died of apparent exhaustion arising from the marathon sex with two teenage girls whom he promised to inform of available job offers through the post office located with the Ibom Plaza arena in Uyo.
We discovered his remains outside the building at about 3 am. When we inquired at his house, we met two girls who claimed the deceased brought them to spend the night. They feigned ignorance of the death of the man; telling us the man went outside to ease himself.”
The source added that the deceased NIPOST retiree, who is an Igbo man, chose to remain in Akwa Ibom after retiring years ago.
State Police spokesperson, SP Odiko Macdon, who confirmed the incident, said that the two girls had been arrested with a view to establishing the immediate and remote causes of the incident.
“The police are aware and the two suspects have been arrested. A discreet investigation is ongoing to ascertain the immediate and remote causes of the incident,” he added.
A man has taken to social media to compare the success of Nigerian Disc Jockey, DJ Cuppy and her music counterpart, Tems.
The man identified as Benji, stated that everything Tems is doing now career-wise should have been done by Cuppy three years ago.

The Big Brother Naija season 5 contestant gave the hint in a post on her official Twitter page on October 5, 2021.
She shared a photo of the accident scene and revealed that it actually occurred 9 months ago. Erica’s car had rammed into a pole, leaving the bonnet in a badly damaged state.
Fans and followers feeling empathetic quickly joined Erica to thank God for her life.
