Nigerian media personality cum actress, Nancy Isime has revealed that she made her father proud by not having a child out of wedlock.
She stated this while fielding questions on Tea with Taymesan podcast, where she also spoke on how she has been able to stay away from controversy.
Nancy said; “I don’t find trouble attractive. I don’t find drama attractive. I am true to myself. I am someone who is just focused on work, focused on her goals and things she has to do, rather than being focused on causing pain for others”.
Speaking on her career and how she broke into the entertainment scene, the Nollywood star said: “I started working when I was 17, I have learnt. I am an old soul. I listen to people, I learn from them It doesn’t mean I don’t have my own mistakes. When I speak like this, it comes from a place of wisdom, it does not come from a place of perfection.
I don’t go to where I don’t need to be, I am literally just at work. I am very anxious person so being in social gatherings doesn’t do well for my mental health. When I am working it’s different, because it’s something I love doing.
I am a shy person people don’t know. My job has taught me to put the shyness by the side. When you see me publicly, I walk with my head down, so I pass through a lot of people. I did my father proud by not showing back home pregnant.
I have said it a lot of times, I am not from a rich home.I had to tell my dad to chill, that I will pay my way out of school”.
A young Nigerian lady has taken to social media to launch a search for a childhood friend whom she was close to
The lady with the Twitter handle @Nifash_ shared an old childhood photo of them and went opened up about their indivisible relationship when they were younger.
According to her, the boy in the pic was more than a friend and never wanted to leave her side nor allow any hurt to come to her.
She added that she showed the old image to her mum who said the boy is her soulmate.
@Nifash however doesn’t know his name anymore and wants social media users to help her get in touch with him now.
She wrote: “I showed my mom this picture and she said this is my soulmate cause when we were small he never wanted to leave my side.. Like he’ll always protect me.

Ghanaian marriage and relationship counselor, George Lutterodt, has said that mistresses commonly known as side chics are part of God’s grand scheme for successful marriages.
According to him, God blesses side chicks, and therefore no curse from an embittered wife would work against another woman.
Lutterodt revealed this on Ghana’s TV3 NewDay while discussing boundaries in marriage.
The Counselor referenced the Bible as proof that God blesses men with more women (wives). He mentioned King David’s son, Solomon as a man after God’s own heart who built a holy temple with his large entourage of wives, mistresses and concubines.
In his words; “The Bible says that God brought a man on earth called David. When David came he was so blessed to the extent that God wanted him to build a church for him. Unfortunately, when he saw Uriah’s wife bathing, he saw it, loved after it and went for it.

Speaking on the issue of quarrels and unrest from jealousy and rivalry amongst wives, Lutterodt stated that women love competition and that having co-wives is not a problem.
He said; ”Side chicks are part of marriage, and they are the medium by which men grow longer, older, and they don’t die prematurely. Side chicks are part of the marriage structure. God blesses side chicks. There is no curse on the side.”
Nigerian singer and self-acclaimed African Giant, Damini Ogulu also known as Burna Boy is set to become the first Nigerian artiste to headline the Madison Square Garden in New York, USA.

The Nigerian Navy has placed Abdulgafar Ahmad popularly known as Cute Abiola, on one-month ‘extra duty’ for ridiculing the Nigeria Police Force while wearing police uniform in one of his skits.
Cute Abiola, who is an Instagram comedian and a Naval Officer ,was arrested on November 15, but has been released from detention to serve his ‘light corrective punishment’ in the cantonment.
The skit-maker, is expected to end his punishment by December 15, when he would be allowed to return home to his family.
Naval spokesperson, Commodore Suleman Dahun, confirmed the development on Friday, The Punch reports.
He said that Ahmad was given a light punishment of a ‘one-month extra duty’ after a military trial.
Dahun said; “Cute Abiola has been placed on one-month extra duty after he was tried. He will be in charge of cleanship; supervising painting, electricians, carpentry, cutting of grasses, and others. He will be supervising civilians.
“He is no longer under detention. He has been released to move around to serve his punishment.
“Because he was detained on November 15, that one month will start counting from then, which means he is going to be engaged till December 15. By then, he will be off the extra duty.”
Lawyer to Cute Abiola, Fatai Adebanjo, also confirmed the development and expressed delight, saying the wife and mother of the Kwara-born comedian who had been distressed since the ordeal began would be relieved.
“We appreciate the Nigerian Navy for the consideration and we know that we are counting days for him to rejoin his family,” Adebanjo said.

Ace singer-songwriter and music executive, David Adeleke aka Davido, has revealed he clashed with his father, Mr Adedeji Adeleke when he left school for music.
The multiple award-winning musician made the disclosure during an interview with Earn Your Leisure.
Davido recounted how his dad went to the extent of shutting down his shows, and even sent the police after him after discovering he had left school to focus on music.
In his words; “I wasn’t in school. I was facing music full time and over the years, he found out that I wasn’t in school and there was a whole lot of drama. I left school. I went back to the city and then my dad was chasing me with the police. Yes, they (the police) were coming after me to go back to school. Any show he (my dad) saw me on, on a flier or whatever, he was shutting the show down”.
Davido further revealed that his 2012 hit song, Dami Duro, was the turning point in his relationship with his dad.
According to the singer, when his dad realized how big his brand had become, they made a deal that allowed him to attend shows when he wasn’t in classes.
“Then I dropped this song, Dami Duro and the song became so big that even the president was singing it. Even people my dad could not get to, was singing it. After two-three years, I got a degree in business management and music,” he said.
Veteran Nollywood actor, Kanayo O. Kanayo, has said that Lagos state government’s decision to shut down Dowen College, where 12-year-old Sylvester Oromoni Jr was allegedly tortured, is not enough.
The actor addressed Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu in a video on his Instagram page which he captioned, “Dowen college must pay for this #justiceforsylvester.”
The death of Sylvester Oromoni Jnr, has sparked agitations from celebrities, as they demand justice for the child.
A Twitter user @perrisonoromoni, who claimed to be the boy’s cousin, broke the news about how Oromoni was beaten by fellow students for refusing to join cult.
However, in a statement on Wednesday, the school denied all allegations stating that Oromoni was neither bullied nor beaten but only complained of hip pain after playing football.
Following public outcry, Lagos State Government on Friday, ordered the indefinite closure of the school, pending the outcome of an investigation into the student’s death.
Reacting to the development, Kanayo said; “The Governor of Lagos State, our own dear Babajide Sanwo-Olu. After the EndSARS protest and report, you have another challenge on your hands.
“The case of the 12-year-old Sylvester – your son – cannot be swept under the carpet. It is not enough to shut down the school.
“Do not – Your Excellency – Do not allow people to take the law into their own hands. It’s something that should be brought to book immediately. Thank you, Your Excellency.”
Nigerian Grammy-winner, Burna Boy has reacted after ex-DMW signee, Yonda revealed that the beef between between him and Davido was as a result of his song.
Speaking in an interview on Ameyaw TV, Yonda said he wrote a song for the African Giant, but he did not do anything with it, so OBO came and used the lyrics in a song which eventually became a hit.
He further revealed that the day Davido released the said song, Burna Boy shaded him about being great because he was born into wealth and not necessarily because he is good at his craft.
Burna has now reacted to the claim, insinuating that Yonda spoke under the influence of hard drugs.

Popular Instagram comedian and Naval personnel, Abdulgafar Ahmad, also known as Cute Abiola has been freed from the Nigerian Navy’s detention.
Director of Information, Navy Headquarters, Commodore Suleman Dahun, confirmed the development on Friday, Punch reports.
Recall that Cute Abiola was declared missing weeks ago, but the Nigerian Navy said that it detained him and he wasn’t missing as widely reported.
Dahun, had said Cute Abiola was taken into custody for violating and breaching Armed Forces of Nigeria social media policy.
The Naval spokesman, on Friday maintained that the comedian knowingly violated the armed forces’ social media policy but was given a punishment after he was tried for misconduct and indiscipline.
He added that Cute Abiola is no longer in the naval detention as he has been released to serve his punishment.
