Rapper Skales reveals he has made up with his wife as he wishes her a happy birthday

Rapper, Skales has revealed that he and his wife, Precious, have made peace and are now back together as a couple.

Recall that in October 2022, Skales shared a cryptic post and then went on to call out Precious for mourning his mum who had just died.

According to Skales, Precious did not show his mum care when she was alive, but posted a tribute after her death just “for the gram.”

All appears to be well with them now as Skales took to his Instagram page this morning to apologize to his wife for bringing their issues to the public, when he could have settled it in private. He went on to wish her a happy birthday.

Davido Clears Instagram Posts, Deletes Profile Picture

Superstar Davido has deleted the majority of his posts on Instagram, leaving only three.

It was on Wednesday revealed that the singer also deleted his profile picture.

The only posts remaining on his Instagram page of 26.4 million followers are that of his late son, Ifeanyi; the viral post of him and his lover, Chioma, getting ready for his Qatar performance; and pictures from the World Cup performance.

Nigerian singer, Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems commanded attention as she arrived at the 2023 Oscars in a stunning white dress.

The 27-year-old singer was nominated for the 2023 edition of the Oscars in the category of Best Original Song courtesy of a collaboration she had on the song, “Lift Me Up” with popular singer, Rihanna; music producer, Ludwig Göransson; and Black Panther’s director, Ryan Coogler.

The award for the Best Original Song went to “Naatu Naatu” from RRR, with music by M.M. Keeravaani, lyrics by Chandrabose instead.

The award ceremony took place at the Dolby Theatre, Ovation Hollywood in Los Angeles, US, last night.

Popular South African Amapiano artist, Costa Titch has sadly passed away after collapsing on stage.

The 27-year-old reportedly had a seizure and collapsed on stage while performing at the Ultra music concert at Expo Centre in Nasrec, Johannesburg today Saturday, March 11th.

Costa had shared a poster on his IG page advertising the event Just 11 hours ago.

Costa entered the entertainment industry as a dancer, but over time he transformed and became a rapper/singer.

He recently got signed to Akon’s music label.

The wives of actor Yul Edochie, May and Judy, have taken to social media to celebrate his father, Pete Edochie, on the occasion of his 76th birthday today, March 7.

In her post, May expressed her gratitude to the veteran actor for being an awesome father and grandfather. May’s post got a reaction from Yul’s brother who thanked her for celebrating their dad.

Court slams N5 million bail on Nollywood actress over new naira notes abuse

Justice Chukwujekwu Anneke of the Lagos Division of the Federal High Court has admitted Nollywood actress Oluwadarasimi Omoseyin to a bail of N5 million over the alleged abuse of the recoloured naira notes.

On Monday, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arraigned Ms Omoseyin on a two-count charge bothering on spraying and stepping on the newly designed naira notes.

The defendant, 31, was alleged to have tampered with N100,000 new notes, by spraying and stepping on same during an occasion in the Lekki area of Lagos

She, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.In his ruling on Wednesday, Justice Aneke admitted the defendant to bail and one surety in like sum.

The court held that the surety must be a public servant, and must have a landed property within the court’s jurisdiction.

The surety is also to produce three years tax clearance.

In addition, the defendant was ordered to deposit her international passport with the court’s registrar.

He adjourned the case until April 3 for trial.

According to the charge, the defendant was alleged to have committed the offence on January 28 at the Monarch Event Centre in Lekki.

The prosecutor, S.I Sulaiman, alleged that the defendant engaged in spraying and trampling on the newly designed naira notes, while dancing at an occasion.

The offence contravenes the provisions of section 21 (1) of the Central Bank Act, 2007.

Ms Omoseyin was arrested after a video of her spraying and stepping on the new notes at a party went viral.

Nollywood Actress remanded in prison for spraying and stepping on newly redesigned Naira notes

Justice Chukwujekwu Aneke of a Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos, on Monday, February 13, ordered that Nollywood actress, Oluwadarasimi Omoseyin, who was arrested for tampering with the new Naira notes be remanded in Kirikiri pending the determination of her bail application.

Omoseyin was arrested by operatives of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Fraud Related Offences Commission, ICPC, on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 along Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, Lagos, and was handed over to the EFCC for investigation.

The 31-year-old was arrested after the video of her spraying and stepping on the newly redesigned Naira notes at a party surfaced online.

In her statement to the Commission, she claimed that she received the new Naira notes from her fans at the party and that she did not know the persons who gave her the money.

Omoseyin was arraigned before the court by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arraigned Omoseyin before Justice Chukwujekwu Aneke on a two-count charge brought against her.

One of the count reads ‘’that you Oluwadarasimi Omoseyin on the 28th day of January, 2023 at Monarch event center, Lekki within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court whilst dancing during a social occasion tampered with the sum of N100, 000.00 (One Hundred Thousand Naira) issued by the Central Bank of Nigeria by spraying same in the said occasion and you thereby committed an offence contrary to and punishable under section 21 (1) of the Central Bank Act, 2007.’

The second reads ‘’that you Oluwadarasimi Omoseyin on the 28th day of January, 2023 at Monarch event center, Lekki within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court whilst dancing during a social occasion tampered with the sum of N100, 000.00 (One Hundred Thousand Naira) issued by the Central Bank of Nigeria by dancing on same in the said occasion and you thereby committed an offence contrary to and punishable under section 21 (1) of the Central Bank Act, 2007.’

When the charges were read to her, Omoseyin pleaded not guilty.

Rihanna flaunts pregnant at Super Bowl half-time show

Globally renowned Barbadian singer, Rihanna has confirmed that she is pregnant with her second child.

On Sunday 12 February, the “Diamonds” singer sparked speculation that she is pregnant again when she took to the stage at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, to perform a medley of hits during the Super Bowl 2023 halftime show.

For the occasion, Rihanna opted for a bright red jumpsuit, which was unzipped to show off a red bodysuit underneath.

In addition to displaying what many suggested was a pregnancy bump, the singer was seen rubbing her stomach during the performance.

Following the halftime show, a representative for Rihanna confirmed the pregnancy speculation in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter.

The singer’s pregnancy news comes after she and boyfriend A$AP Rocky welcomed their first child, a son, in May 2022.

The couple has not yet revealed the name of their son, with Rihanna previously blaming their busy schedules.

“We just didn’t get around to it yet, really. We’ve just been living,” the singer told the Associated Press in November. “But I guess there’s a certain freedom that comes with kind of just like getting it out there.”

South African rapper AKA shot dead

South African rapper, Kiernan Forbes, popularly known as AKA, was shot dead last night and the second man who was gunned down with him has been identified as one of his best friends and former manager, Tebello ‘Tibz’ Motsoane.

Tebello was standing outside Wish Restaurant with AKA and others when gunmen in two cars opened fire, killing both men and injuring another man said to be AKA’s bodyguard.

Tebello managed AKA many years ago before deciding on a new career path and becoming a chef.

The duo and others had flown into Durban on Friday, Feb 10th to celebrate AKA’s birthday and perform at a club when the tragic incident happened.
