Videos circulating on social media reveal that some schools in Nigeria have started reciting the reintroduced national anthem, โ€œNigeria, We Hail Thee.โ€President Bola Tinubu, on Wednesday, signed the bill by the National Assembly for the return of the colonial-era national anthem to replace โ€œArise, O Compatriots.โ€ย Pupils of Justice and Peace Primary School in Ogbere-Ijebu, Ogun State, were filmed reciting the first stanza of the โ€œNigeria, We Hail Theeโ€ anthem during their morning assembly.Another video revealed a school said to be in Lagos State, playing the reintroduced national anthem during their morning assembly.
