The governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde took to his social media accounts earlier today to celebrate teacher’s day. Engr Seyi Makinde who was celebrated by teachers and other state workers during the celebration of his first year in office, is known to have set some standards in the educational system of Oyo State.
Prompt payment of workers salaries and pension , cancellation of school fees , provision of textbooks, renovation and construction of classroom blocks amongst others proves how much enthusiasm Engr Seyi Makinde has for education.
He made a statement through his social media account;
