EFCC arrests young lady hours after she flaunted her wealth on social media

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have arrested one Deborah Okiemute, hours after she flaunted her flashy lifestyle on social media.

Deborah, identified as Sassie Dira on Facebook, was arrested with three other suspects in Makurdi, Benue state.

on Saturday, May 1, the young lady had shared photos of herself posing with a flashy car while calling on people with ‘royal blood’ to link up with her.

However, hours after she had made the post, the EFCC arrested her and three others over alleged involvement in internet fraud.

He noted that the four suspects, who are part of a syndicate of internet fraudsters, were picked up based on intelligence report on their “alleged criminal activities” in Makurdi, will soon be charged to court.

The statement read: “The Makurdi Zonal Office of the EFCC on May 1, 2021, arrested four members of a syndicate of internet fraudsters in Makurdi, Benue State.

The suspects, Gideon Damisa, Sunday James, Friday Ebosele and Okiemute Deborah, were rounded up by operatives of the commission following intelligence report on their alleged criminal activities in and around Makurdi metropolis.

“At the point of arrest, the principal suspect, Gideon Damisa, was in possession of a Mercedes Benz GLK 350, one IPhone, two Pro Max, two Infinix phone and ATM cards among others.

“They will soon be charged to court.”

Three Boys Arrested While Trying To Use A Young Lady For Rituals

Three boys suspected to be yahoo guys were caught trying to use a young lady for rituals.

The suspects were caught yesterday, February 2, in idumeka community, igueben Local government Area of Edo state.

In the picture obtained by freshrepoters reveals the three young guys were all in white attire and ready for the rituals before they were arrested.

It was also gathered that the three suspects who want to use the innocent girl for rituals were below the age of 21 years.

The Young Lady That Was Declared Missing Has Been Found In A Bad State.

A Twitter user by the name Farah of Lagos, took to her Twitter page to share with the public that her friend was missing, and had contacted her earlier to tell her that some men were following her.

The young lady by name Debby has now been found but she is in a bad state, as seen in another tweet by her friend. She is currently receiving treatment in an undisclosed hospital. How and where she was found was not explained by her friend but glory be to God she was found alive.

Young Lady Burns Mother, Her Children, Grandchildren In Lagos

A single mother, Imole Sesan, has allegedly set a family of seven on fire in the Idimu area of Lagos State. 

It was gathered that the victims, Remi Joseph, her children and grandchildren were sleeping in a shop when Sesan locked the family in, doused them with petrol through the window and set them ablaze. 

Imole had visited Joseph, her aunt on January 1 and 3, demanding her late father’s share from the rent of the family property located at Mafoluku in Oshodi, Lagos and was told that the tenants had not paid their rents.

The crime was reportedly committed on January 5 while the suspect was arrested on January 8.

It was also learnt that Sesan had promised to punish Joseph. 

So far, three of the victims have already died due to severe burns, including the mother, Joseph.

P.M Express reported that doctors were still battling to save the lives of the other victims at the hospital at the time of filing the report. 

Policemen from Idimu Division have reportedly arrested the suspect, Imole, and transferred her to the Homicide Section of the State Criminal Investigation Department  for further investigations.
