Businessman, Tony Elumelu, has met the former United States of America Secretary of State and Special Presidential Envoy for Climate, Senator John Kerry.
He shared pictures from the meeting on his Instagram page on Wednesday.
Elumelu captioned the photos,
“Late night catchup with my good friend, Senator John Kerry, former Secretary of the State and Current US Special Presidential Envoy for Climate.”
Ozzy Osbourne has announced he plans to move back to the UK with his wife Sharon Osbourne, because he’s fed up with people getting killed every day in the US and don’t want to become a target.
The singer, 73, who has spent over 25 years in Beverly Hills revealed this while commenting on the country’s history of school shootings. Osbourne said he will relocate with his music manager wife Sharon, 69, to their 120-year-old Grade II listed Buckinghamshire pile Welders House.
He told The Observer: ‘I’m fed up with people getting killed every day. God knows how many people have been shot in school shootings. And there was that mass shooting in Vegas at that concert… It’s f*****g crazy.’
He continued:
‘I’m English. I want to be back. But, saying that, if my wife said we’ve got to go and live in Timbuktu, I’ll go. But, no, it’s just time for me to come home.’ Quashing any speculation that the move could have been promoted by Ozzy’s battle with Parkinson’s Disease, Sharon added:
‘It isn’t the United States of America at all. Nothing’s united about it. It’s a very weird place to live right now.’
The Black Sabbath hitmaker returned to the stage earlier this month in his hometown of Birmingham for the Commonwealth Games closing ceremony just two months after ‘life-altering surgery’.
Earlier in August, Ozzy revealed in an interview with The Sun that he was told he could have been paralysed for life, after undergoing his first spinal surgery back in 2019.
The hitmaker was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2019, and that same year suffered a horror fall that aggravated a neck injury from his 2003 quad bike accident.
After nearly four decades, Dr. Anthony Fauci says he’ll be departing his roles as the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and as chief medical officer to US President Joe Biden at the end of this year.
Fauci known as the US’ top infectious disease expert has served at NIAID for 38 years starting in former President Ronald Reagan’s administration, a role in which he helped lead the US response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic, as well as West Nile virus, the anthrax attacks, pandemic influenza, various bird influenza threats, Ebola and Zika. He became a public figure during the United States’ response to the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020.
“I am announcing today that I will be stepping down from the positions of Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and Chief of the NIAID Laboratory of Immunoregulation, as well as the position of Chief Medical Advisor to President Joe Biden.
I will be leaving these positions in December of this year to pursue the next chapter of my career,” Fauci, 81 said on Monday, August 22.
Fauci said in his statement that he is “not retiring” and will “continue to advance science and public health and to inspire and mentor the next generation of scientific leaders as they help prepare the world to face future infectious disease threats.”
President Biden praised Fauci’s work in a statement.
“Because of Dr. Fauci’s many contributions to public health, lives here in the United States and around the world have been saved.
As he leaves his position in the U.S. Government, I know the American people and the entire world will continue to benefit from Dr. Fauci’s expertise in whatever he does next,” Biden said.
“Whether you’ve met him personally or not, he has touched all Americans’ lives with his work.
I extend my deepest thanks for his public service. The United States of America is stronger, more resilient, and healthier because of him.”

American rapper, Mystikal has been arrested in his home state of Louisiana after being accused of rape, among other crimes. The New Orleans-bred rapper (real name Michael Tyler) was booked into the Ascension Parish Jail on Sunday afternoon, July 31, on multiple felony charges, including first-degree rape, domestic abuse battery; strangulation and robbery. The 51-year-old has also been charged with two misdemeanors: false imprisonment and criminal damage to property worth less than $1,000. All five offenses reportedly took place at 9:21 a.m. on Sunday morning. Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office records reveal Mystikal has yet to post bond and is currently behind bars awaiting arraignment.
In 2004, he was sentenced to six years in prison after pleading guilty to sexual battery.The rapper and his two bodyguards had forced his hairstylist to perform oral sex on them in return for not turning her into police for cashing $80,000 worth of unauthorized checks from his bank account. Mystikal was released in 2010 and registered as a sex offender in Louisiana, but found himself back behind bars just two years later on a domestic abuse battery charge against his partner, violating the terms of his probation. In August 2017, the Ghetto Fabulous MC was charged with rape and held on a $3 million bond stemming from an alleged sexual assault against a woman at a Shreveport casino. However, the charges were eventually dropped due to insufficient evidence.
