Sweden declares s*x as sport, to host competition

Sweden has officially declared s*x as a sport and is also set to host its first-ever sex competition.

The participants will engage in s*x sessions which can go up to six hours daily.

A panel of judges will decide the winners of the s*x competition while the audience will also influence the final decisions.

Tagged European Sex Championship, the competition will start this week, June 8, and run through a period of six weeks with participants engaging in sexual activities from 45 minutes to 1 hour daily, depending upon the duration of their matches.

Aside influencing the decision, the audience will also notice several aspects of the sexual activity.

The final decision on the winners will be arrived at after considering the factors like the chemistry between the couple, knowledge about s*x as well as endurance level.

Sweden to send demining, anti-tank weapons to Ukraine

Sweden said on Thursday that it will be donating anti-tank weapons and demining equipment to Ukraine to help wage war against Russia.

Sweden, one of the two countries that have just joined NATO, will be sending weapons worth 500 million Swedish Krona ($49 million) to Ukraine.

According to the country’s defense ministry spokesperson, Toni Eriksson, the equipment was requested by the Ukrainian government.

He said they would be delivered “as soon as possible.”

The ministry revealed that Sweden has already donated military equipment to Ukraine on four previous occasions.

He further told CNN that they will also be providing further support weapons.

The Swedish Government have reacted to the suspension slammed on microblogging platform, Twitter by the Federal Government of Nigeria.

In a tweet on its official handle, Sweden called on President Muhammadu Buhari to respect ‘freedom of expression.’

It noted that Nigerians have a constitutional right to exercise their freedom of expression and a right to access of information.

The tweet reads, ”Nigerians have a constitutional right to exercise their freedom of expression and a right to access of information.

This must be respected. Safeguarding free, independent media and civic spaces for democratic voices is an important part of Sweden’s #DriveForDemocracy #TwitterBan”

Just a few days after Twitter deleted Buhari’s controversial ‘civil war’ tweet, the federal government suspended Twitter’s operations in a statement on Friday.

Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, said the government was forced to act because of “the persistent use of the platform for activities that are capable of undermining Nigeria’s corporate existence”.
