Woman allegedly killed by homeless man she allowed to stay in her home

A woman was shot dead in a broad-daylight attack in Queens, New York, and police allege she was killed by a homeless man who’d been staying at her apartment. Sydney Lugo, 24, had been arguing with the man, Tariak Stykes, 34, near 109th Avenue and 120th Street in South Ozone Park around 9:20 a.m. on Monday, August 1, when he allegedly shot her in the right arm, cops said.

She was rushed to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center where she succumbed to her injuries, police said on Tuesday, August 2.

Lugo, who lived in an apartment building close to the scene, had allowed Stykes to stay with her temporarily, cops said. The two were arguing when Stykes allegedly opened fire, but the exact nature of their squabble is unclear, police said. Styles was taken into custody shortly after the shooting and charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon, cops said.

Months After People Raised Money For This Beggar, See What She Was Caught Doing On The Road

People make it difficult to help others, there are a lot of beggars on the road and only few are genuinely in need of help, others are just people who see begging as a lucrative business to indulge in.

Their is this poor beggar a man spotted months ago on the road, she was seen bathing her children and preparing them for school on the road where they sleep. This actually touched the man and he took it online and many rich people contributed money to her to change her life. As a matter of fact, her children being trained in school.

Sadly, this same woman was caught on the road by the same man, begging on that particular spot again, but this time with different children. The man presumed that those children were rented and called out the woman for child abuse.

He further pleaded with the government to come and do something concerning beggars with children. Also, he discouraged people giving alms to beggars on the road, as it encourages them.Â
