Prince Harry snubbed dinner with Charles and William after Meghan was banned from joining family on day the Queen died

Prince Harry reportedly snubbed dinner with Charles and William at Balmoral after Meghan was banned from joining the family on the day Queen Elizabeth died.

The Sun exclusively reported that Harry, 38, had insisted his wife be there on September 8, but Charles phoned to say it was “not appropriate”.

This made him miss an RAF flight to Scotland with brother William and uncles Andrew and Edward.

After being told to make his own travel arrangement, Harry eventually landed at Aberdeen without Meghan at 6.35pm, minutes after the Queen’s death was announced to the world.

It was also reported that after he was driven into Balmoral 90 minutes later, he declined dinner at Birkhall, Charles’s home on the estate, with the new king, Queen Consort Camilla and William.

He went on to mourn with Edward, Sophie Wessex and Andrew, seven miles away at Balmoral Castle. A source told the publication;

“Harry was so busy trying to get Meghan to Balmoral and rowing with his family that he missed the flight.

“Charles has an open invitation for Harry to dine with him whenever he is in the country.

“But Harry was so furious that he refused to eat with his father and brother.“It was a massive snub. And he got out of Balmoral at the earliest opportunity to catch the first commercial flight back to London.

At 8am the next day Harry was seen being driven to a British Airways jet which set off for Heathrow at 9.45am.

He was then reunited with Meghan at Frogmore Cottage, Windsor.

Harry and Meghan flew home to California on Tuesday September 20, 24 hours after the family laid the Queen to rest.

Tyler Perry has revealed why he offered up his $18 million Beverly Hills home to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

Tyler Perry has revealed why he offered up his $18 million Beverly Hills home to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to use as their personal residence after they quit the monarchy and moved to the US.

Back in 2020, after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced that they were moving away from royal duties and relocating to California.

The couple, along with their then-one-year-old son, Archie, spent a few months living in Tyler’s Beverly Hills mansion before they went on to purchase their own sprawling, $14.65 million estate in Montecito, California.

The American actor and producer, 53, has explained why he offered help to the couple, insisting that it was a ‘very difficult time for them’ and that he wanted to ‘support them’ in any way possible.

The filmmaker added that he was inspired by Harry and Meghan’s love, telling the Today show, ‘What I know about the two of them – and I wish the world knew – how much these two people love each other.

‘They found each other, out of all these odds against them finding each other, they found each other.

‘The love they have is really, really moving and I wanted to do anything I could to support them.’

He added of Meghan and Harry’s relationship:

‘If I don’t have that, what she and Harry have, I don’t want it. That’s really amazing.

‘During a recent interview with The Cut, Meghan, 41, spoke out about her bond with Tyler, explaining that he got in touch with her after she first wed Harry, 38, in 2018.

She explained that he told her that he was praying for her, and that he ‘understood’ the intense pressure she was under.

According to Meghan, Tyler also told her that if ever needed advice, she could reach out to him – so she did.

‘Sometimes, you can tell your life story to a stranger on a plane as opposed to some of the people that are closest to you,’ she told The Cut.

The eight bedroom Tuscan-style villa, which Tyler purchased in 2004 for $4.3 million, sits on 22 acres of land and comes with 24,000-square-feet of living space.

Meghan Markle was disinvited from seeing Queen Elizabeth in final hours

Prince Harry never had his wife, Meghan Markle by his side while visiting his grandmother as she was dying because she (Meghan) was disinvited in the final hours.

Royal expert Katie Nicholl told ET that the Duchess of Sussex was not included in the reach-out to Harry when news came down that Queen Elizabeth was on her death bed, which explains why he made the voyage on his own.

It is also speculated that Meghan might have opted out as a courtesy or out of respect for Harry, but the report points to it being a decision made by higher powers within the Royal Family.

Nicholl revealed that Meghan had said she’ll go to Balmoral Castle where Queen Elizabeth II had died, at another time.

She and Harry could have easily visited the Queen since they were already in the UK for work-related matters, and even canceled an event in London when they got the news.

In the end, Harry arrived at Balmoral after the Queen’s death was announced.

King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla did make it in time, as they were already in Scotland for prior engagements.

It’s unclear which other family members made it to Elizabeth’s side before she actually passed.

Kate Middleton did not join Prince William in Scotland either, but she and William made it clear she was staying back with their 3 children at Windsor Castle. The Queen died at 96 and was the longest-serving monarch in British history. By

Harry and Meghan Markle warned to secure their mansion after a mountain lion was seen prowling around

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are being urged to secure their mansion in Montecito, California, against attack. A mountain lion was caught on camera prowling near their home in California.

The big cat was spotted just five miles away from where the couple live with their son Archie, three, and one-year-old daughter Lilibet.

The shocking video of the lion obtained by The Sun was filmed by a security camera late on July 23. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have a chicken coop at their property which could make it a target. Sharon Byrne, executive director of the Montecito Association, said:

“We don’t know if the mountain lion is male or female. “That part of Montecito is a very rural, very mountainous area, the kind of habitat for mountain lions.

“There’s a drought on here in California so he or she was probably looking for water and whatever food could be scavenged, so that’s why they headed to where people live. “So far, all we have is this one sighting.

“But the fact we have security footage shows though that residents are taking this seriously as it was shot by a camera which is what we’ve been urging residents to install.

“We want all locals to secure their homes and secure their chicken coops and whatever other animals they may have.

“Chickens can be a fast, easy source of food for hunting animals so they have to be safe and secure.

“We also urge residents to secure their garbage so animals can go rummaging around for scraps, to have night lighting, alarms, cameras and so on.

“Mountain lions are solitary creatures and ultimately, they don’t want to be around people so we’re hoping this one moves on by itself.”
