Nigerian reality star Pere Egbi has stated on his Instagram stories that most men are unknowingly raising children who do not belong to them.
Speaking about paternity fraud, the Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eyes second runner up mentioned that men should be cautious so that they do not end up ‘getting played’ by their partners.
He added that most women are out to ‘ruin men’, therefore men need to thread with caution.
Pere wrote:
“Some men out here getting played fathering children who they don’t even know is theirs.”
He continued, “Wise Up! Some women are out here to ruin men.”
Big Brother Naija season 6 finalist, Pere Egbi has bagged his first ambassadorial deal since the reality show ended.
He got signed on as an ambassador for VSP Botanics, a skincare brand.
The actor cum reality TV star took to his Instagram page to make the announcement on Friday, November 12, 2021.
Pere shared a video of him and actress Sharon Ooja, who is also an ambassador for the brand, and they both showed off one of the VSP Botanics product.
He wrote alongside the clip;
“I am so elated to officially announce that I have joined the @vsp_botanics family as a brand ambassador! VSP offers a wide variety of products that cater to different skin types.
No matter you skin variation or color, we got you covered. Thank you @sharonooja for that warm welcome.”
Big Brother Naija ”Shine Ya Eye” housemate, White Money, says he is happy that Pere and Angel have returned to the reality TV show.
He said this during his Diary Session on Tuesday, when Big Brother asked how he felt about their return.
Pere and Angel had faced fake eviction on Sunday but after the double jeopardy game between the duo, they both gained access to continue to the grand finale.
Reacting to this, White Money stated that he was happy they returned because the house was a bit scanty, though he enjoyed the feeling of being the only one who was saved from eviction on Sunday.
He said; “I am happy they’re back. Who will win will win. For me to be in the final lap, I’m a winner already.
“I’m happy they’re back. It’s a good thing. At least more faces to see. At least me and Pere are the only two people that do not have a partner. At least, we can be looking at ourselves eye-to-eye and talk.”
Big Brother Naija ”Shine Ya Eye” housemate, Perez Egbi, also known as Pere, has been nominated for the 2021 Best of Nollywood Awards (BON).
Pere was nominated in the ‘Best Actor in a Leading Role’ category among other top Nollywood stars.
His nomination was announced via the BON Awards official Instagram page on Saturday for his lead role in a Biodun Stephen’s movie, ‘Butterflies’.
Other nominees in the same category include Stan Nze in ‘Rattlesnake’, Blossom Chukwujekwu in ‘Home Spring Eternal,’ Enyinna Nwigwe in ‘Badamosi’, Okey Uzoeshi in ‘Strain’, and Uzor Arukwe in ‘Yours Regardless.’
Pere is a former US military officer who served for six years before returning to Nigeria to become an actor.
He has been in the Nollywood scenes for years but recently gained prominence due to his participation in the ongoing Big Brother Naija season six.
Big Brother Naija 2021 housemate, White Money has disregarded the Head of House’s directive for him to be relieved of kitchen duties.
Recall that Pere, who is the Head of House, relieved White Money from cooking and introduced a general rooster in the house during a brief conversation with other housemates.
However, at 2 am on Thursday, White stood up, went into the kitchen to prepare a meal for himself.
Other housemates who were awake, including Emmanuel, Liquorose and Angel joined him to dine.
White’s decision to cook something despite Pere’s new order has sparked reactions on social media.
A Big Brother Naija housemate, Pere, on Monday emerged as the Head of House for the 3rd week.
In the day’s popular dice contest in the house, Pere defeated the duo of Saskay and Tega who suffered point deductions for violating the rules of the game.
The housemate selected fellow wildcard, Maria, as deputy.
With his new status, the 36-year-old is automatically exempted from nomination for possible eviction during the reality show’s next live telecast slated for next weekend.
On Thursday, July 29, Shine Ya Eyes candidates Maria and Pere were unveiled by Biggie as the Wildcards of the ongoing Big Brother Naija edition.
As promised, the two Shine Ya Eyes housemates were surprisingly depicted as the wildcards to the audience, however, the other twenty contestants still have the responsibility to unveil who the wildcards are, otherwise, both wildcards have the privilege to compete for the grand prize.
It is important to note that both housemates are oblivious of their roles as wildcards in the house. Should the other housemates get the prediction correctly, both Maria and Pere will have to leave the house at a live eviction show on Sunday, August 2.
Confirming their wild card status, Big Brother asked both Maria and Pere how they felt about discovering the existence of another wild card asides themselves.
They also got a chance to guess who the other wild card could be.
During the diary sessions, Big Brother exclusively hinted to another housemate, Emmanuel that the wild cards will follow each other closely for their sessions.
However, that was a vague hint as all housemates are invited one after another for the sessions.
