OAP Toke Makinwa bares thoughts on why attractive men date ‘ugly’ women

Controversial Nigerian media personality, Toke Makinwa has made attempts to explain why she thinks most attractive men are in a relationship with women that she perceives as ugly.

She stated in a recent episode of her vlog that most handsome men rarely ask beautiful women out on a date because they think they are bombarded with affection from other men

Toke further opined that ‘ugly’ women are asked out more often because of the ‘inner beauty’ that they possess. She stated that these women have the propensity to maintain a relationship with their character and personality, while the beautiful ones are perceived as either being too busy or uptight.

In the concluding part of the episode, Makinwa admonished men to approach more beautiful women and make their intentions known. Toke also mentioned that she ‘wished she was born ugly.’

Estranged wife accuses OAP, Nedu, of domestic violence

Popular Nigerian on-air personality (OAP) Chinedu Ani Emmanuel better known as Nedu has been accused of domestic violence by his estranged wife, Uzor Ohiri.

Uzor in a post via her Instagram story accused her husband of not catering for his kids.

She also accused him of battering her a few weeks after she had an operation while his mother watched.

Uzor further wondered why Wazobiafm, Lagos still allows the presenter to host marriage talks and shows even when he is one of the many men that beat their wives to stupor.

Seems like a very good time to call all useless men out. I’m tired. Let’s take care of the girls, leave my son out of this.

“Do you remember when you beat me up while your mother held my new-born a few weeks after I had a cesarean operation?

“I still wonder how Wazobia Fm Lagos allows you to host a marriage show when you’re one out of the many men that beat their spouses to stupor,” she said.

Nedu and Uzor got married in 2013 but their marriage crashed in 2018.

The estranged couple have three kids together.

OAP Toke Makinwa explains why society should desist from age-shaming a woman into marriage

Outspoken media personality, Toke Makinwa has taken to social media to reveal why it is important to never age-shame a woman into marriage.

In a Twitter thread, the On-air personality stated that women should be allowed to live the way they want and settle down when they desire.

She mentioned that women should never be pressured to get married before the age of 40. Toke opined that there should be no threshold for finding true love.

Here is what she wrote on Twitter;
“When did growing older become an insult???
Like, Nigerians will use everything to insult you.
Don’t go and marry, you can’t keep a man, don’t go and born, keep cruising till you reach 40 like is 40 the deadline???
I’m not understanding.”

In the latter part of her post, the media personality stated that 40 is the new 20, therefore women should be allowed to live on their own terms.

Her final paragraph reads;

“Everyone will age, 40 is the new 20.
The next time you want to age shame anyone remember that you will age too or do you want to die young???”
