Burna and Wiz have promoted my new album, but it won’t be complete till you promote it – Blaqbonez begs Davido

Nigerian rap rave, Blaqbonez, real name Emeka Akumefule has pleaded with ace singer, David Adeleke aka Davido to promote his debut album, Sex Over Love.

The album which peaked at number 1 in Nigeria just within 24 hours of its release, has received massive positive reviews from fans and even top-rated musicians.

Nigerian superstar singers, Burna Boy and Wizkid, in appreciation of his craft, posted the album on Insta-story.

The self-acclaimed African Giant captioned the post: ”Yoo everyone go run up @blaqbonez album out now! But no forget say dangote still dey find money”

While Starboy posted it without a caption.

Blaqbonez begged Davido to join his colleagues, Burna and Wiz who have already posted ”Sex Over Love” promotional on their social media pages.

According to the rapper, the DMW CEO’s social media post is what is left for ”everywhere to choke.”

He wrote; ”Boss @davido, Wizkid and Burna Boy have posted my album, E remain you so everywhere fit choke. https://Blaqbonez.lnk.to/SexoverLove”

Jay Z to feature Olamide and Femi Kuti in new album

American rap icon, Shawn Carter better known as Jay-Z is set to feature Nigerian rapper Olamide and afrobeats maestro, Femi Kuti on his upcoming album, ‘The Ascension’.

This was revealed in the catalogue of the recently released track list.

The 16 songs project features guest appearances from the likes of Olamide, Sarkodie, Femi Kuti, Nasty C, Beyoncé, Rick Ross, H.E.R and the duo of Lighthouse family.

Speaking on the 16-track album, Jay-Z said; “I’ve always wanted to get in touch with my roots and connect to the motherland. You know, Africa is blessed with so much talent and I felt like it was time to tap into that resource.

The Ascension is not just talking or focusing on Africa but it’s also about me giving back to the people, familiarizing with the culture and connecting more with the motherland.”

Olamide is featured on track 4 titled KINGS FEAST, while Jay Z featured Femi Kuti on track 13 with the title VICTORY.

The rap mogul follows in the footsteps of his wife Beyonce whose last album “Lion King: The Gift” album, featured African stars like of Burna boy, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Shatta Wale, and Tekno.
