Big Brother Naija ”Shine Ya Eye” star, Maria Chike Benjamin, has broken silence amid allegations that she’s having an affair with Cubana Chief Priest’s brother-in-law.

She took to her social media page to reveal what is of utmost importance to her at the moment, not minding the husband-snatching scandal which she is embroiled in.

For a good 24 hours, Maria’s name has been on the lips of many, owing to the allegations leveled against her by celebrity barman, Cubana Chief Priest that she snatched his sister’s husband.

However, the reality star who seems unbothered, hinted that she is more concerned about acquiring a penthouse.

She shared a photo on her Instagram Story and wrote; ”Inspo for my penthouse in Lagos”

Nigerian socialite, Cubana Chief Priest has leaked a chat allegedly between reality star, Maria, and his married sister.

This comes after the club owner called out Maria for having an affair with his sister’s husband, Kelvin.

The celebrity barman took to his Instagram page and shared screenshots of the chat which shows a lady alleged to be Maria apologizing to her lover’s wife.

She apologized for the drama brought upon the family while assuring the woman that she was ready to give up the affair just so the marriage can go back to what it was.

Sharing the snapshots of the chat, Cubana Chief Priest wrote; “Side Chick Dey Message Madam Dey Advice Am, Maria You Get Mind Shaaaa.”

Music executive and show promoter, Paul Okoye has advised Club owner, Cubana Chief Priest to get his facts right before accusing Big Brother Naija 2021 star, Maria on social media.

Chief Priest had alleged that Maria snatched his sister’s husband and even threatened her life, asking her to leave the man alone.

But in a post on his Instagram story, Paul Okoye who hinted that he has heard both sides of the story, advised that everyone should not jump into conclusion yet.

Cubana Chief Priest accuses BBNaija star, Maria, of having affair with his sister’s husband

Nigerian night aficionado, Pascal Okechukwu, aka Cubana Chief Priest, has called out reality Tv star, Maria Chike Benjamin for allegedly having an affair with his sister’s husband.

The celebrity barman made this known in a post via his Instagram account on Sunday.

He also accused Maria of sending threatening messages to his sister adding that she shamelessly keeps showing off expensive gifts another woman’s husband got for her.

Maria Chike Benjamin, how on Earth will you threaten a married woman who has male and female offspring to leave her husband for you.

“You keep showing off the expensive gifts and cars her husband bought for you just to taunt her.

“Kelvin, am so ashamed of you. I know that all men are cheaters but never make your hone miserable for your wife to the extent that your side chick calls her to threaten her,” he wrote.

Big Brother Naija ”Shine Ya Eye star” Tega Dominic has introduced a challenge aimed at promoting the natural beauty of women.

Taking to her verified Instagram page, the mother of one shared a make-up free photo of herself and challenged some of her female colleagues to do same.

Tega noted that people sometimes lose their real beauty while trying to fit into the world’s beauty standards influenced by makeup and filters.

She tagged Arin, Liquorose, Maria, Jackie B, Princess and urged them to also share their natural faces to bare their beauty in all its perfect imperfections.

As at the time of filing this report, the others are yet to respond to the challenge.

The reality star wrote;

Big Brother Naija ex-housemate, Maria has expressed regret for suspecting that White Money nominated her due to the differences they had in the house.

The Imo-born air hostess was evicted during the Sunday Live show, alongside Sammie and JMK.

Speaking in a new interview with Ebuka, Maria said that she felt stupid finding out that White Money never nominated her.

In her words; “It was emotional when you played those who nominated me. Finding out he never nominated me, I feel stupid.

I liked his vibe because we are both Igbo and I still like him. I hope we will be friends if he ever forgives me.”

On her future plans, Maria revealed that she will open a business, a day-care in Abuja and a salon in Dubai, adding that she is open to anything entertainment in Nigeria.

Six Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eyes housemates will be facing a possible eviction on Sunday, August 29.

The nominated housemates include Maria, Pere, JMK, Sammie, Queen and Cross.

Biggie revealed on Monday, August 23 that at least one of the nominated housemates will be leaving the competition on Sunday.

The current Head of House, Liquorose, whose real name is Roseline Omokhoa Afije, used her Veto power to replace Peace with Cross.

Interestingly, Liquorose had nominated both Peace and Cross for possible eviction.

Meanwhile, this is the first time Shine Ya Eyes wildcards, Maria and Pere will be facing an eviction scare, recall Maria recently concluded her tenure as the Head of House.

After the nomination announcement, Liquorose was instructed to nominate her deputy and the new HOH chose Saga. Saga in turn chose Nini as his partner with whom he will enjoy the luxuries of the HOH lounge.

BBNaija stars Pere, Maria, Queen and others face possible eviction

As the fifth week on the BBNaija show starts, a new set of six housemates were nominated for possible eviction after the housemates voted.

After going into the diary room to call two names each, the housemates who were mentioned the most, JMK, Queen, Peace, Pere, Maria and Sammie, were up for possible eviction.

Biggie however called on the Head of House, Liquorose, to use her veto power to save and replace from those who were already up.

Liquorose then used her power to save Peace and then replaced her with Cross. This came as a surprise seeing as she had also nominated Peace in the Diary Room.

Pere also had a record-breaking total of 10 nominations, meaning half of the housemates mentioned his name.

Pere made this known while having a conversation with HoH Maria in the garden.

The former US soldier said he was first attracted to Jackie B when he got in the house before he started getting close to Maria.

“I was attracted to Jackie B from the first day in the house but she was interested in someone else.

But when I noticed you, I started having feelings for you,” Pere told Maria.

Recall that Pere had confessed his feelings to Maria, however, she turned him down, saying she has someone outside the house.

Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eyes contestant, Maria has revealed that she nabbed her colleague, Yerins, staring at her while she was showering in the bathroom.

Maria was reporting this to other housemates on Saturday night after their first house party.

During her conversation with housemates Saga, Pere, Nini and Arin, Maria alleged that Yerins ogled her in the shower while she was taking a bath.

When she caught his eyes in the mirror, she claimed he smiled and began singing popular lyrics of her name.

The mixed race realtor described the event as disgusting and unacceptable. But she did not share plans to escalate the issue with Big Brother.

If investigated, Yerins stands a chance of instant disqualification for violating Big Brother’s sexual harassment rule.

Recall the same fate befell 2017 BBNaija Season 2 housemate, Kemen who got disqualified for sexually harassing TBoss.
