Adidas is set to start selling off $1.3 bILLION-worth of remaining Kanye West’s Yeezy left over after cutting business ties with the rapper following his antisemitic tirade last year.

The German athletic apparel and footwear corporation will also donate a portion of its upcoming profits from its Yeezy products to the Anti-Defamation League and other charities ‘working to combat discrimination and hate, including racism and antisemitism.’

TMZ is reporting the company is expected to start selling off the remainder of its Yeezy sneakers and other inventory items within days, which will mark the first time consumers can buy Yeezy products since October 25, when Adidas broke off business ties with the rapper and entrepreneur.

The controversy behind the business fall out for West began when he and some of his models wore a shirt emblazoned with the phrase ‘White Lives Matter’ on its back for his Yeezy Paris Fashion Week show on October 3.

The Southern Poverty Law Center says the phrase is one that was adopted by neo-Nazi and white supremacist groups in response to the Black Lives Matter movement.

The rapper later took to Twitter to use antisemitic rhetoric in his posts and in interviews.

One of the most infamous of his posts was when he appeared to threaten Jewish people in a tweet that came shortly after his Instagram account was restricted for content viewed by some users as antisemitic.

‘I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE,’ he began in the controversial post on October 8, 2022.

‘The funny thing is I actually can’t be Anti Semitic because black people are actually Jew also You guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone whoever opposes your agenda,’ he wrote, in one of his first tweets in two years.

On November 20, Sunday night, Ye posted a tweet to see if his account was working.

“Testing Testing Seeing if my Twitter is unblocked,” he wrote.

It comes after West vowed to go “death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE.”

The rapper has repeatedly denied that his comments were racist, including saying that he doesn’t believe in the term “anti-semitism” because it’s “not factual”.

However, he later offered some sort of apology in an interview with Piers Morgan, saying:

“I’m sorry for the people that I hurt with the ‘death con’… I feel like I caused hurt and confusion”.

Kanye West shares photo of Emmett Till and claims he is being lynched like him for sharing his frustration

Kanye West has claimed that he is being lynched by Masa (a terms used by black slaves to refer to their white masters) just because he expressed his frustrations.

The 45-year-old rapper shared a picture of Emmett Till, who was lynched for allegedly flirting with a white woman, and he said the same thing is being done to him by powerful businessmen.

He named Ari Emmanuel, the CEO of Endeavor, an entertainment and media agency that owns the UFC, and revealed that he and other powerful people have forced brands to drop him and dissociate from him.

He called it “economic lynching” and “digital lynching” and lamented that the students of his school, Donda Academy are suffering for it now because his school has also been boycotted and the kids are suffering for it.

Kanye’s woes started after he threatened Jewish people by saying he will go “death con 3” on them after saying they control the media and most businesses.

Kanye West escorted out of Skechers Los Angeles office after he arrived ‘unannounced’ and ‘uninvited’

Footwear company, Skechers USA Inc (SKX.N) said on Wednesday that its executives escorted Kanye West, out of a Los Angeles corporate office, after the rapper and fashion designer “showed up unannounced and uninvited”.

According to TMZ, Kanye showed up at Skechers headquarters in Manhattan beach to talk with the company’s executives in order to find a new spot for his Yeezy shoes, but immediately got turned away.

After a “brief discussion,” West was escorted off the corporate offices’ premises, Skechers said in a statement.

“Skechers is not considering and has no intention of working with West.” “Considering Ye was engaged in unauthorized filming, two Skechers executives escorted him and his party from the building after a brief conversation.

We condemn his recent divisive remarks and do not tolerate antisemitism or any other form of hate speech.”

Skechers is owned and operated by a Jewish family — Robert Greenberg founded it, and his son Michael is currently the President.

Skechers’ comments come a day after sportswear brand Adidas AG ended its partnership with West, following a series of antisemitic comments from Kanye.

Clothing company Gap Inc , which terminated its deal with West in September, is also taking immediate steps to remove Yeezy Gap products from its stores and shut down YeezyGap.com.

Kanye West’s Donda Academy dropped from High School tournament because of rapper’s anti-Semitic comments

Kanye West’s Donda Academy basketball team will not be able to showcase their talents this year at a high-profile high school basketball tournament.

Following Kanye’s anti-Semitic comments, the Kentucky Play By Play Classic announced that the Christian prep school founded by Kanye is no longer invited to the annual tournament in Louisville on Dec. 11.

“Kanye’s words and actions violate our values as a company and a country, and what we seek to ensure at all of our events — a spirit of diversity, sportsmanship, inclusion, equity and mutual respect,” tournament organizer Scholastic Play By Play Classics said in a press release.

Donda Academy was originally scheduled to play North Laurel on Dec. 11 and will now be replaced by Imhotep Charter. The press release continues:

“While we are firm in our reasoning for this decision, it does not diminish our heartache and regret for Donda’s hardworking athletes who will lose out the most as a result of Kanye’s actions.”

Rapper Kanye West no longer a billionaire after Adidas terminates deal

Kanye West has lost his status as a billionaire after Adidas ended a lucrative Yeezy deal in response to his bizarre anti-Semitic scandal , according to Forbes Of West’s estimated $2 billion fortune, a whopping $1.5 billion was attributable to his relationship with Adidas, Forbes said on Tuesday, October, 25.

The loss of the deal effectively erases that massive chunk of his net worth, which is now estimated to be a comparatively paltry $400 million.

The estimated $1.5 billion value of West’s Adidas deal is based on a multiple of the partnership’s annual earnings, according to Forbes.

The publication noted his remaining net worth is tied to his music catalog, real estate holdings, liquid cash, and his 5% stake in Skims, his ex-wife Kim Kardashian’s burgeoning shapewear brand.

“When you part ways with a massive company that is your distribution partner it has to have an impact on your bottom line,” Columbia University sports management professor Joe Favorito told The Post.

West has publicly accused the media for years of underestimating the size of his business empire.

During a controversial interview with NewsNation’s Chris Cuomo earlier this month, an erratic West said “the Jewish underground media mafia” was “attacking” him – in part by misrepresenting his wealth.

“They never call me a billionaire,” West grumbled. “Hey, tycoon, billionaire, visionary, inventor — these are never used.”

In its report, Forbes said that West would contact the publication “every year” to complain about its valuations.

Estimates about the West’s wealth varied widely in recent years. While Forbes placed the number at $2 billion, Bloomberg asserted in 2021 that he was worth as much as $6.6 billion.

Last year, The Post obtained financial documents suggesting the overall value of West’s Adidas segment alone could be as high as $3.7 billion.

Adidas acknowledged that its decision to sever ties with West would have a “short-term negative impact” of approximately $250 million to its net income in 2022, due to its proximity to the critical holiday quarter.

In a note to clients, Baird analyst Jonathan Komp estimated the Yeezy partnership generated about $1.8 billion in annual revenue and “high-30% operating margin” for the company.

“After a thorough review, the company has taken the decision to terminate the partnership with Ye immediately, end production of Yeezy branded products and stop all payments to Ye and his companies,” Adidas said in a statement on its decision.

“Adidas will stop the Adidas Yeezy business with immediate effect.”

Adidas finally cuts ties with Kanye West after pressure from the public following antisemitic comments

Adidas has ended its partnership with Kanye West after he made a series of antisemitic remarks and embraced a slogan associated with white supremacists that earned him widespread condemnation.

The German sportswear giant said on Tuesday, October 25, that it “does not tolerate antisemitism” after the rapper was suspended from Instagram and Twitter over offensive posts.

Adidas added that recent comments and actions from Kanye West had been “unacceptable, hateful and dangerous, and they violate the company’s values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect and fairness”.

The company said it would take a “short-term” hit of €250m (£217m) to its income for this year after deciding to stop the brand’s business with immediate effect.

It is to end production for products under West’s Yeezy brand and stop all payments to the rapper and his companies.

In 2020, the partnership brought in nearly $1.7bn in revenue for Adidas, according to Bloomberg, and was due to expire in 2026.

Adidas put the deal up for review after West’s controversial Paris show earlier this month, where models walked the catwalk wearing “White Lives Matter” shirts.

Adidas’s move comes after Balenciaga, Gap and JPMorgan Chase all cut ties with West. Kanye recently claimed that Adidas could not drop him, despite his comments prompting calls for a boycott.

Balenciaga officially cuts ties with Kanye West over anti-semitic comments

Luxury fashion label, Balenciaga, has officially cut ties with Billionaire rapper and long time collaborator, Kanye West following his recent string of antisemitic and offensive remarks.

Balenciaga began distancing itself from West following his controversial appearance on the podcast Drink Champs released last week, where he falsely claimed that George Floyd wasn’t murdered but killed by fentanyl.

On Oct. 17, the fashion giant issued a statement saying West’s runway look from Balenciaga’s Spring 2023 show at Paris Fashion Week had been deleted from Vogue Runway, as well as the Balenciaga website.

Additionally, Balenciaga said it had removed a section on its website dedicated to the three Yeezy Gap Engineered by Balenciaga collaborations, which launched earlier this year.

Those items were also no longer available on other online retailers.Following its third-quarter earnings report Thursday, October 20,2022, the fashion label’s parent company Kering said in a statement to WWD, “Balenciaga has no longer any relationship nor any plans for future projects related to this artist.”

With Balenciaga severing ties, West has lost one of his closest and oldest partners in the luxury fashion world.

The two have been entwined for years, largely thanks to West’s long-standing relationship with the fashion house’s creative director Demna Gvasalia, which dates back to around 2014, when Vestments — the label Demna founded with his brother, Guram Gvasalia broke through in the fashion world.

In 2015, the Gvaslia brothers consulted West on his Yeezy Season 1 line, and by the end of the year, Demna was signed to head up Balenciaga.

West and Demna’s relationship really solidified in 2019. The two texted constantly and eventually started working together again, with Demna serving as the creative director on West’s Donda listening parties in 2021.

“With Ye, I have something that I don’t really have with other people, where anything is possible,” Demna told The Times last year.

“For me, talking with him is like going back in time to the 8-year-old me who doesn’t have all these barriers and filters. We spent like two and a half hours talking about buttons.

Those kinds of conversations help me to evolve as a designer because I think: ‘Yeah, why do we do it like this? Why buttons? Why packaging?’ I never thought about that before.”

Kanye West and new girlfriend Juliana Nalu pack on the PDA

Amid the backlash over his anti-semitic comments, Kanye was spotted on Wednesday, October 19, making out with Juliana Nalú outside a Los Angeles studio.

The rapper, who is in the middle of his divorce from Kim Kardashian, had his arms wrapped around Juliana as they kissed goodbye in photos obtained exclusively by Page Six.

Afterward, Ye headed inside to do an interview with Billy Bush and Nalú, 24, drove off to do a photoshoot.

The new couple wore matching Yeezy outfits with Nalú sporting an all-black ensemble and the rapper rocking a camo baseball hat and a wine-colored bomber jacket.

Kanye West announces plans to buy far-right app Parler after being locked out of Twitter

Kanye West has started the process of buying the social media app Parler, which is associated with far-right views and personalities such as Donald Trump.

This comes after Kanye’s Twitter account was locked for violating Twitter’s policies after he made comments deemed to be anti-semitic.

The acquisition was announced by Parler today, October 17, in a press release. Parler said that it has entered into an agreement in principle with Ye that’s expected to close later this year.

“In a world where conservative opinions are considered to be controversial we have to make sure we have the right to freely express ourselves,” Kanye said in a press statement.

Parler’s parent company Parlement Technologies said the acquisition would help create “an uncancelable ecosystem where all voices are welcome.”

Parlement Technologies added: “This deal will change the world, and change the way the world thinks about free speech.

“Ye is making a groundbreaking move into the free speech media space and will never have to fear being removed from social media again.

“Once again, Ye proves that he is one step ahead of the legacy media narrative.

Khloe Kardashian slams Kanye West after he called out his “White Lives Matter” T-Shirt critics for not speaking up when the Kardashians kept him from seeing his kids

Khloe Kardashian has slammed Kanye West for dragging her family once again. Kanye West has received heat for the “White Lives Matter” T-shirt he and his models showcased at his fashion show on Monday October 2.

Model Gigi Hadid joined to call him out. Vogue editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson also wrote an opinion piece expressing her reservations about Kanye’s T-shirt and the rapper mocked her on Instagram.

Following the criticisms he received, Kanye took to Instagram to ask where all his critics were when the Kardashians didn’t let him see his kids.

He added that it was only Candace Owens who spoke up at the time. Cardace Owens also replied to Kanye’s post and asked the critics where they were when Pete Davidson tattooed the names of Kanye’s kids on his body.

Khloe Kardashian then stepped into Kanye’s comment section and told him to stop dragging the Kardashians whenever he wants to deflect.

“Stop tearing Kimberly down and using our family when you want to deflect,” Khloe warned Kanye.

She added that he knows exactly where his kids are at all times and he should allow his kids to be raised in peace.

Khloé’s call out comes just days after she and Kylie Jenner supported Kanye at his Balenciaga show in Paris.

Pete Davidson in ‘trauma therapy’ following Kanye West’s attacks on social media

Pete Davidson has reportedly been in “trauma therapy”, largely due to Kanye West’s attacks on social media. Sources told People that West’s frequent attacks are one reason Davidson has “been absent from social media.”

A source said; “The attention and negativity coming from Kanye and his antics is a trigger for [Pete], and he’s had to seek out help.”

The source stressed that, despite calling it quits last week, Davidson “has no regrets for dating Kim and wants it to be made very clear that she’s been nothing but supportive of him throughout their relationship.”

A source close to Kardashian however stated that Davidson’s involvement with trauma therapy had nothing to do with their break-up and that she “does not tolerate this type of behavior from Kanye.”

As for Davidson, he’ll be focusing on his career, moving forward. He’ll next be seen in the summer horror comedy Bodies Bodies Bodies.

And dating Kim Kardashian was still pretty cool, even with the Ye factor. According to People’s source, Davidson “has no regrets for dating Kim and wants it to be made very clear that she’s been nothing but supportive of him throughout their relationship.”

The “Golddigger” rapper, 45, has continuously criticized the “SNL” alum, who he dubbed Skete ever since he was first linked to Kardashian in October 2021.

Earlier this year, West released a video for “Eazy” that had him literally kidnapping and burying a cartoon version of Davidson. He also rapped about “beating Pete Davidson’s a*s.”

West also attacked Davidson in a second video for the same tune, this time while the actor wore a “Skete” hoodie. Yesterday, West posted a doctored image of a New York Times front-page obituary that read, “Skete Davidson Dead at Age 28,” following news of Davidson and Kardashian calling it quits.

Both Kardashian’s and Davidson’s teams contacted Instagram about the post which has since been removed.

My Godfather, Dangote is the richest black man, not you – DJ Cuppy tells Kanye West

Nigerian Disc Jockey and music producer, Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola aka DJ Cuppy has rubbished American rapper, Kanye West’s claim that he is the richest black man.

Kanye revealed that he made the statement when he was stopped from entering his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian’s house to spend time with his children.

While speaking on Hollywood Unlocked hosted by Jason Lee, the ‘Heartless” crooner narrated how he was forced to announce himself as the richest black man when the Kim Kardashian’s security told him he couldn’t go inside.

He said; “Earlier this week, Monday, when I went to go pick my kids up from school, the security stopped me at the gate.

“So at that point, security was in between me and my children and that’s what was not going to happen.

“But I didn’t want to argue about it. So I just chilled, took my kids to school, and then took my kids back.

I am driving. I bring them back and North was like, ‘I want you to come upstairs and see something.’

“And it’s like, ‘Oh, Daddy can’t come see something. Daddy can’t come inside.’ But that hadn’t been defined.”

Reacting via Twitter, Cuppy said that he isn’t the richest black man. The entertainer stated that her godfather, Aliko Dangote is the only person officially recognised as the richest black man.

Kim Kardashian vows never to reunite with estranged husband, Kanye West

American socialite, Kim Kardashian has revealed that she wants to officially end her marriage with her estranged husband Kanye West.

In the court documents obtained by People on Monday December 13, the 41-year-old fashion billionaire revealed that her marriage to Kanye West had “irremediably broken down and she no longer desires to be married.”

She also said “there are simply no compelling reasons not to grant a motion to bifurcate and terminate marital status in this case.”

The mom of four also said “there is no possibility of saving the marriage through counseling or other means.”

The court document read;

“The parties’ marriage has irremediably broken down. [Kardashian] no longer desires to be married to [West].

There are simply no compelling reasons not to grant a motion to bifurcate and terminate marital status in this case.

There is no question that the marriage of the parties is no longer viable. [Kardashian] has no desire to reconcile with [West] and wants their marriage terminated. Irreconcilable differences have led to the irremediable breakdown of the marriage, and there is no possibility of saving the marriage through counseling or other means. The continued maintenance of technical marital status between [West] and [Kardashian] serves no useful purpose, and there is no reason to maintain the legal relationship.

“Irreconcilable differences have existed and continue to exist between [West] and me, which have caused our marriage to irretrievably break down. No counseling or reconciliation effort will be of any value at this time.

“[West] and I both deserve the opportunity to build new lives. Therefore, I am asking that my request to bifurcate and terminate our marital status be granted.”

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West started dating in 2012 and got married in May 2014. They share four children: daughters North, 8, and Chicago, 3, as well as sons Saint, 6, and Psalm, 2.
