British media personality, Simon Cowell, has proposed to his lover, Lauren Silverman, after dating for 13 years.

A recruiter for a company has shared the unbelievable decision a man took on his girlfriend’s behalf that prevented her from being hired.
According to the recruiter identified as Abiodun Atobatele, the lady applied for the job, was interviewed and fortunately out of all applicants, she was among the 7 people who passed the test and was selected to be employed for the company
However, the lady didn’t acknowledge her employment just like other employees, and the company decided to call the number she provided to know her reason.
A man picked the call and introduced himself as her boyfriend. He went ahead to inform the employers that his girlfriend is “not allowed to work”.

A Junior secondary student of a school in South Africa has been filmed proposing to his girlfriend.
According to social media reports, they had just written their last exam for the term and the young boy decided to surprise his girlfriend with a proposal in school.
In a viral video, the boy could be seen going on his knees as other students were heard screaming.

A Nigerian pharmacist has narrated how he was deceived and used by his unfaithful ex-girlfriend.
The man known as Victor Israel, said his girlfriend had asked him to prescribe drugs for her friend’s boyfriend who was having erectile dysfunction.
Unknown to Victor, the man had been sleeping with his woman, but he did not find out until after he had prescribed the medication.
The pharmacist’s girlfriend later came to tell him that the drug worked, and it was after that moment he put the pieces of the puzzle together.

The story of a man who has vowed not to give up on this girlfriend despite the fact that she is now unable to walk and do anything for herself, has sent emotions spiraling through the minds of many.

An interesting and shocking story of a young boy getting physical with a clergyman man over a girl has gone viral on social media.
The pastor had allegedly fondled the backside of a girl, and her boyfriend who is said to be 16 years old decided to defend her.
According to social media user @naebilli who shared the story, the boy beat up the pastor for grabbing his girlfriend’s ass.

A 38-year-old lady, Chinyere Orji, is dead after her 27-year-old live-in lover, Michael Ikechukwu, allegedly stabbed her during a quarrel, last Monday, at their apartment at 11, Abuja street, Alaba Rago, off Mile 2 Badagry expressway.
Vanguard News reports that the mother-of-two was killed by the suspect over prostitution. Michael claimed to have known the deceased as commercial s*x worker at Apapa, for three years and four months , adding that the incident that led to her death occurred during an argument on his insistence for her to quit prostitution.
“When I asked where she was going, she said I shouldn’t ask her. I locked the door, preventing her from leaving. “She started shouting at the top of her voice that I should open the door and that I should not ask her where she was going, since I knew she was a hustler.
At that point, I started calming her down but she insisted on leaving. She said she was going to look for money. She started scattering everywhere, insisting she must leave. Out of provocation I slapped her and told her to re-arrange the room.
In an attempt to scare her, I slammed the standing mirror on the ground and it shattered. Unfortunately, a piece pierced into her right rib and she started shouting that I had stabbed her. I rushed outside to get a tricycle to take her to the hospital. By the time I came back, I met policemen attached to TaskForce, in the apartment.
They held me and informed me that she was dead. They took me to their office, where I spent the night. “The next day I was taken to Ojo Police division from where I was brought to the SCIID. If I had known, I would have allowed her to go and hustle”.

Aliyah, the girlfriend of the late Nigerian music executive and record label owner, Kashy Godson has defended singer, Barry Jhay.
According to Aliyah, the singer is not to blame for the death of his boss.
Recall several days ago, Barry Jhay was arrested in Ghana following the sudden death of Cash Nation Entertainment boss, Kashy Godson.
Aliyah who said she dated the late C.E.O. of Cash Nation Entertainment for two years said Barry Jhay had nothing to do with his death.
I want everyone to know that he was not depressed, neither was he mentally ill or on some hard drugs. Do not believe everything you see on the Internet,” she wrote.

An angry boyfriend has done the unthinkable by murdering his girlfriend for allegedly receiving a gift from another man.
According to reports, the suspect who has been identified as Shatta carried this gruesome act after he was informed that his girlfriend had received a Tecno Camon 15 phone from another guy.
The dead girlfriend who has also been identified as Juliet Obu was informed, by Shatta that he was going to buy her an Apple iPhone after he destroyed the Tecno phone.
Some eyewitnesses claimed that prior to the murder of the deceased Shatta had brutally assaulted Juliet but later went with some friends to apologize for his actions.
They continued that Juliet left town to go freshen up around 8:00pm after she was later called by her boyfriend.
She went immediately without putting on slippers to meet the assailant, who stabbed her to death.
The suspect stabbed and cut her at several places around 9:00pm — making her to bleed profusely leading to her death.
The body of the deceased has been deposited at the Police Mortuary in Accra.
The suspect is yet to be arrested.
A young man named Elvis Chidimma Omah from Nsukka local government area of Enugu State was set ablaze by his 18 year old girlfriend, Esther from Ado local government area of Benue State. The incident took place in Makurdi town happened at about 2am on Monday.
Trouble started shortly after Esther was told by her friends that Chidinma travelled to his village to pay the bride price of another girl he intends to marry, an allegation he vehemently denied when asked.
Consequently, Esther went and bought Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) popularly called petrol and brought it to Chidinma’s house where she intended spending the night. Few minutes after 2am, Esther woke up while the victim was still sleeping, poured the petrol in the room and ignited it.
Eyes witnesses stated that Chidinma was burnt beyond recognition at the time the fire was quenched.
When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Benue State Police Command, Catherine Anene, confirmed the incident and the eventual arrest of the culprit, saying she was in their custody while investigation is ongoing.
An eighteen (18) years old girl, Esther from Ado Local Government Area of Benue state, in the early hours of Monday, 11th January, 2021, burnt her boy friend, Elvis Chidinma Onah from Nsuka local Government Area of Enugu State to death in Makurdi.
Chidinma, a patent medicine dealer who just returned from Christmas and New Year holiday last Saturday had been in the village since on Wednesday, 23rd December, 2020.
Trouble started shortly after Esther was told by her friends that Chidinma travelled to his village to pay a pride price of another girl he intended to marry, an allegation he vehemently denied when he was confronted by Esther but she was not satisfied with his answer.
Consequently, Esther went to an unknown filling station with a gallon on Sunday evening and filled it with premium motor spirit (PMS) commonly known as petrol in line with her undisclosed plan to burn Chidinma.
Esther came to his house in the early hours of Sunday, stayed with him and pretended as if all was well. They ate foods and played together throughout the night until both of them fell asleep.
She then woke up few minutes after 2am and went straight to where she kept the fuel opposite Chidinma’s house, brought it to the room, poured the fuel round the room right inside while Chidinma was still sleeping. She ignited the room with matches and ran away immediately.
Few minutes later, some tenants living in the compound came out, shouting and pouring water into the room in an attempt to extinguish the fire.
As the inferno was subsiding, Chidinma who was burnt beyond recognition, managed to come out, shouting that Esther has killed him and was quickly rushed to Federal Medical Centre Apir, Makurdi.
While giving details of the tragic event, an eyewitness and a neighbour to the deceased, Rose Stephen said, they were perceiving smell and sound of fire around 2am on Monday, they came out and discovered that it was Chidinma’s room that was burning. They did all they could but couldn’t stop the fire from burning him.
She further said, both of them were having issues and were always going to police station in 2020, adding that Chidinma told Esther that he was fed up with her bad characters and was no longer interested in her before he travelled for Christmas and New year.
Rose said she was surprised seeing them together shortly after Chidinma’s return from the village from Saturday till on Sunday.
Corroborating the story, another eyewitness and one of the closest friends to the deceased, Abraham Ebute said, Chidinma clearly told Esther he was no longer interested in the relationship with her because of her unruly behaviour and criminal tendency, saying Chidinma was once arrested because she stole a handset belonging to an Air force officer and was traced to Chidinma’s house.
Ebute added that, Esther also stole Chidi’s phone before he travelled home and promised returning it to him after his arrival, not knowing that her plan was to kill him.
He said, he rushed to Chidinma’s house along with his other friends as smoke was going off and cry from neighborhoods only to discover that he was burnt to an unimaginable level, pray to God to receive him in His bosom.
When contacted, the Police Public Relationship Officer, PPRO, Benue State Police Command, Catherine Anene confirmed the tragic incident and the eventual arrest of the culprit, Esther, saying she was in their custody while investigation is still ongoing to unravel the ugly situation.
Chidinma was confirmed dead today, Tuesday, 12th January, 2021 and plan was on the way to convey his corpse to Nsuka by his parents who were already in Makurdi as at the time of filing this report.
