TikToker, Jasmine Chioma Okafor, popularly known as ‘Ibu’s daughter,’ has revealed that she is separated from the man she met on TikTok and married just two months after.
Jasmine went viral earlier this year when she announced that she was getting married to a US-based man whom she met on TikTok just weeks prior.
The man proposed to her on the same day he flew down to Nigeria to meet her for the first time. Their wedding held in February.
Just last week, Jasmine announced on TikTok that she is expecting twin girls with her husband.
Today, Nov. 14, she took to Instagram to reveal that they are separating. She added that she has filed for divorce.
Sylvester Stallone and his wife of 25 years, Jennifer Flavin have been spotted cozying up to each other just weeks after Jennifer filed for divorce. They were seen Thursday, September 29, outside a grocery store in Calabasas.
Slyvester had his hand on Jennifer’s leg in one photo. In another, both were smiling while peering into a phone.

Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin’s divorce was reportedly initiated after they got into an argument on if the actor should get a new dog.
Sources told TMZ that the “Rocky” star wanted to get a Rottweiler to protect the family, but Jennifer did not want another dog. They were reportedly at loggerheads over the pooch, and they each fiercely stuck to their positions.
It was alleged that they had an extremely heated argument that brought up other issues, even though none of them appeared to be marriage-enders. Stallone ended up getting the dog named Dwight, also the name of his character on his new show “Tulsa King.”
He posted videos and photos of him with Dwight this month on Instagram with the caption “So incredibly happy with my newly acquired four legged friend ”DWIGHT“ my characters name from the Series, keep punching and keep barking !!! Thank you very much to Trainer and breeder Dave Smith and his wonderful wife !!!”
The actor also shared another post with the caption “”DWIGHT” Definitely a true friend! KeepPunching And Keep barking!”
Though Stallone who is currently in Oklahoma shooting his show is shocked about the divorce filing by Jennifer, he however feels they can work out their differences.
The actor had also put a Rottweiler on his arm over the tattoo he had of Jennifer. The photo surfaced Monday on DailyMail, but that was after Jennifer filed for divorce.
A man has divorced his wife after she refused to remove her father’s name and replace it with his surname in all her documents as well as social media handles.
Facebook user Iyke Orji who shared the story online said the husband had asked the wife to effect the change of name on her documents as well as her social media handles but she refused stating that the change will affect her.
He said this problem lingered on until the man decided to end their marriage.

According to the American news platform, TMZ, the estranged couple officially annulled their marriage in a superior court in Los Angeles, the United States on Tuesday, December 28.
A private judge who mediated the divorce had signed off on it in early December 2021. However, the divorce was officially entered into the system by a sitting judge on Tuesday.
It was reported that the divorce took so long because of the complication attached to the property settlement arrangement. However, an estimated $400 million is involved, according to sources.
The marriage hit the rocks over a decade ago when news leaked that the actor fathered a child with the housekeeper.

American music producer and rapper, Dr Dre, real name Andre Young is suing his estranged wife, Nicole Young for allegedly embezzling funds from one of his recording studio companies identified as Recording One.
The Recording One music studio is located in Los Angeles’ Sherman Oaks neighborhood, according to legal filings.
Dre’s lawsuit was filed after the judge overseeing his divorce ordered him in July 2021 to pay nearly $300,000 per month to his ex in spousal support for the foreseeable future.
The legal filings indicate that Recording One was formed in 2015 to operate as a recording studio.
Both Dre (who was born Andre Young) and his then-wife were in charge of ‘maintenance and control’ of the studio assets, and Recording One claims that Young was in charge of writing charges and transferring money for the business.
The studio contends that she ‘decimated’ its bank accounts by withdrawing $353,571.85 in the early stages of her divorce from from Dre, which she filed for in June of 2020.
Nicole could find herself in serious legal trouble if the studio’s allegations are found to be true.
The business accuses her of violating Penal Code 496, which states:
‘Every person who buys or receives any property that has been stolen or that has been obtained in any manner constituting theft or extortion, knowing the property to be stolen or obtained, or who conceals, sells, withholds, or aids in concealing, selling, or withholding any property from the owner… shall be punished by imprisonment in county jail for not more than one year.’
Nicole filed to divorce Dre in June 2020, citing irreconcilable differences after 24 years of marriage.
The estranged couple, who both got married on May 25, 1996, have two adult children together: son Truice and daughter Truly.
The investment firm of Microsoft CEO, Bill Gates’ transferred $1.8 billion (estimated N685 billion naira) in stock to his wife, Melinda, the same day the couple announced their separation after 27 years of marriage, New York Post reports.
Cascade Investment, a holding company that Gates formed to manage much of his financial assets, transferred more than 14 million shares of Canadian National Railway to Melinda Gates on Monday, according to a securities filing.
The NY Post reports that on the same day, the firm transferred more than 2.9 million shares of AutoNation to Melinda Gates, a separate filing shows.
Based on Wednesday’s stock prices, the Canadian National Railway holdings are worth more than $1.5 billion and the shares of AutoNation, a Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based company that sells cars, are valued at over $300 million.
The couple’s divorce petition, which was filed Monday in King County Superior Court in Washington state, indicated that they don’t have a prenuptial agreement to distribute their estimated $130 billion in assets.
Instead, the two have signed a separation contract for dividing their property and possessions, but the terms of that agreement have not been publicly disclosed in court documents.
Bill and Melinda Gates are going their separate ways after 27 years of marriage.
In a joint statement, the couple announced they’ve made a decision to get divorced.
After a great deal of thought and a lot of work on our relationship, we have made the decision to end our marriage,” the statement reads.
“Over the last 27 years, we have raised three incredible children and built a foundation that works all over the world to enable all people to lead healthy, productive lives.

An 80-year-old retired lecturer, Prof. Muritala Haroon on Thursday told a customary court sitting in Mapo, Oyo State that his wife, Afsat, still denies him sex.
On Thursday, at the resumed hearing in the suit, Mr Haroon said,” My wife did not abide by the advice given to her by this court to allow peace to reign by agreeing to perform her wifely duties.”
The President of the court, Ademola Odunade, told Mr Haroon to exercise more patience as the wife was absent and had no representative in court.
Mr Odunade who adjourned the matter until May 17 said “The court will work with the extended members of the family to resolve the matter amicably.”
Mr Haroon had in February 2021, filed for the termination of his 52-year-old marriage on the grounds of sexual starvation and murder threats.
He said “I can no longer cope with the attitude again. Worst still, she and her relatives want me dead.
“Afsat attempted to stab me. She is misleading our six children. She has turned them against me,” he said.
Mrs Haroon at the hearing had rejected the prayer for separation.
“Prof is promiscuous. I cannot have anything to do with him because he slept with his close friend’s three wives.
“My lord, Haroon slept with the three wives of the man who acted as an intermediary whenever we had problems,” she said.
Dr. Dre is currently being hospitalized at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after suffering a brain aneurysm
Dre suffered the aneurysm on Monday and was rushed by ambulance to Cedars and was taken directly to ICU, where he remains as at today.
Our sources say the 55-year-old music mogul is stable and lucid, but doctors don’t know what caused the bleeding and they are doing a battery of tests.
As you know, Dre is in the middle of a very contentious divorce with his estranged wife, Nicole. As we reported, Nicole wants $2 million a month in temporal spousal support and $5 million for attorney fees, but Dre says he’s been paying all of her expenses so the $2 million demand was outlandish. He also says the attorney’s fees are outrageous since her lawyers have only been working on the case for a few months.
And, as we reported, Nicole wants a judge to reject the prenuptial agreement she signed in 1996, claiming Dre ripped it up early on in the marriage. Dre strongly denies that.
There’s a hearing Wednesday in downtown L.A. on both issues. Obviously, Dre will not be attending and we’re assuming the judge will continue the matter.
My friend built a house for her family but the society frowns at it because she is a female. Just because she isn’t a male, you hear comments such as; “where did she get the money?”, “she wants to show off her wealth” ,”she’s not in the right position to do this” and other kind of demeaning comments.
In some African societies or let me say the construct(s) in some communities in Africa , men are expected to perform some (major) duties and feats or achievements while women are meant to be at the backstage. A woman who is successful goes through a lot of criticism especially when she isn’t married. Why does the society find it difficult to celebrate and appreciate successful (African) women just the way men are celebrated?
A woman’s achievement is rather measured by her marital status, is she single or married? If she’s single, the society believes her money isn’t ‘legit’ and if she’s married, the society believes her husband made her. How long will this belief cloud our judgment? When do we begin to realise that women can achieve as much or more than their male counterparts ?
I realised that liberal feminist are fair enough. You know why? Many women have had to put up with a lot of criticism even in the 21st century. As a man, if you don’t support your wife and and you speak ill of her because she is succeeding more than you are, in my opinion, you are “less of a man”. The situation notwithstanding; whether she is more successful than you are or not, you need to “man up” as a man and take up responsibility.
Your wife is your support system and don’t get hurt by/with/about her success instead acknowledge and manage her-your wife’s success, don’t give up as you work towards your (own) success. This (alone) is (app)laudable. Inability to acknowledge and manage the success of one’s spouse will trigger chaos and ultimately divorce.
In this case when a man refuses to acknowledge and manage his wife’s success, (constantly) feels threatened by his wife’s success and repeatedly allows third-party (parents and/or peers) to meddle, such a man is setting the hurdles that could likely ruin his household.
Guess what? acknowledging and managing the success of one’s wife has little or nothing to do with your academic qualifications, age and/or skin colour. We have academics that are unable to manage their wives’ success. I believe that acknowledging and managing success of one’s wife is a function of SOUND MIND. In my opinion, a sound mind is mind free from bitterness; a mind of its own feeling of completeness. Simply put, a mind free of animosity.
This reminds me of a story. Can I tell you a true life story? I know you will like to know what it is about. It is a story about what transpired between a couple. It happened many years ago, Wole travelled to Canada for greener pastures. Later on, he came back to Nigeria and got married to his heartthrob. Shortly after he married Bisi, he travelled back to Canada with his wife-Bisi. They are blessed with 3 children.
What happened next? Bisi secured a job and earned a lot more than her husband, Wole. Then the problem started! Wole informed his parents about the issue, thereafter the families began to harbour hatred towards each other. Wole’s mother accused Bisi’s mother of witchcraft, she claimed her son’s destiny was used by Bisi’s family. How ridiculous!
To cut the story short, Bisi struggled to save her marriage for many years but Wole was bent of divorcing her, having the stern support of his family. Eventually they got a divorce however Bisi was given the full custody of their children because she has all it takes to cater for them. After some years , Bisi remarried a Canadian while Wole is still single.
This however could have been avoided if Wole was willing to acknowledge, support and manage his wife rather than getting the third party involved in his marital affairs. This amongst numerous cases is the cause of divorce in this generation. Inability to acknowledge and manage spouse’s success, trivial issues and bitter ego among others are the reasons for many hurdles in matrimony. This narrows down to our society, the African society frowns at divorce but relentlessly triggers divorce!
