Big Brother Naija ”Shine Ya Eye” contestant, Angel has said that White Money is pretentious and not straightforward.

Angel made the comment on Sunday night during a conversation with Pere in the white room.

According to her, there is something about White Money that doesn’t really add up.

“Something about White Money just flipped. It’s like I could see clearer and I’m not saying he is a bad person but there’s something off and awkward about him.

“Like I told Queen when she was saying White Money is a trustworthy guy, me I don’t think so because I feel he pretends and he isn’t straightforward.

“My Intuitions are never wrong and lately we have been clashing. We even clashed in the garden on Sunday morning. I like when people are straightforward and he’s not; that’s why he is always deflecting.

“Even when you guys had that altercation and I told him he ought to put you in your place and he’s like no he understands Pere.

“ I was like how can someone treat you like that and you’re saying you understand him, are you God? Like when did human beings become so good like that. I just feel he’s fake,” she said.

#BBNaija: Pere’s fans organise protest, threaten to end Big Brother Naija over ‘unfair’ twist

Fans of Big Brother Naija’s housemate, Pere, are planning to protest today against the organizers of the reality TV show over alleged unfairness to their favourite.

This is coming after Pere and Angel who were asked to leave the house during the Sunday live eviction show, were moved to a white room.

They were then told that they would compete for a chance to go back into the house.

But Pere’s fans felt this was an unfair twist as the ex-US army officer who got 25% percent voted earned enough votes to scale through to the finale ahead of Angel with 14%.

According to circular circulating on social media, Pere’s fans threatened a protest aimed at ending the show over the unfair treatment to their favorite.

Businessman offers N5million to Nini’s boyfriend to allow her be with Saga

A businessman has offered to give N5 million naira to the boyfriend of Big Brother Naija housemate Nini to leave her for Saga.

The man simply known as Oku made the offer after Nini secretly left the house as part of a secret task.

Her disappearance was a source of heartache to Saga who had professed his feelings for her even though she stated countless time that she has a relationship outside the house.

Saga went into a sad and gloomy state and broke down in tears on Wednesday when he could not find Nini.

Speaking in reaction to the development, Oku said he will send 5 million naira to Nini’s boyfriend’s account for him to let her be with Saga.

According to him, he does not want Saga to have a mental breakdown when Nini goes back to her boyfriend after the show.

He wrote; ”If you are NINI’s boyfriend, please let SAGA have her. I will send 5 million to your account. I don’t want him going through mental breakdown after the show.”

Big Brother Naija 2021 housemate, Queen, says if she ends up marrying a broke man, she’ll sponsor him as long as he has prospects.

She mad this known while chatting with Cross on Friday as the duo discussed their future plans after the house.

Earlier on Friday, Queen had lost her pet fish, Green, and Cross has consoled her for the loss because he also lost his the previous day.

As they both chatted, Queen said she doesn’t want to get into a relationship soon because of her business.

Speaking on her past relationship, she said; “I was basically doing everything for my ex-boyfriend; praying for him. But at the end of the day, the relationship went like that. So right now, I just want to put all the energy into me and make me a better person.”

She added that she doesn’t mind sponsoring her future husband as long as he has prospects.

“Even if the husband that wants to marry me isn’t rich, if he has prospects and I see that he’s very serious and have something that we can work on, I can assist him.

“I can give him money to push himself and all of that, I can do that. I don’t care if you’re rich or not; just have a prospect and be sensible,” she said.

Big Brother Naija season 6 housemate, Emmanuel, has said that if his love-interest Liquorose had been evicted from the show, he would have wanted to leave too.

He made this known during a discussion with Liquorose on Sunday night following the live eviction show that saw Jaypaul and Jackie B leaving the house.

Liquorose, White Money, Queen, Jackie B, Jaypaul, Saskay, and Saga were all up for possible eviction.

Reacting to Liquorose being saved, Emmanuel said, “Honestly, I’m happy you’re safe. I’m excited and glad that you’re safe.”

“If I had gone home, how would you sleep?” Liquorose asked.

She then teased him; “You’ll sleep and eat. You’ll even eat three plates. I know you would have missed my problem.”

Emmanuel answered; “If you had gone, ‘to go for hungry me too’, and if I were to be up this week, I’ll beg the fans to vote me out.”

“You don’t want to win?” Liquorose asked.

She continued; “I thought you said you were here for the prize not for love.”

In response, Emmanuel said; “You’re here for the prize and then some things would just hit you and if you’re not mentally and emotionally stable, how will you get the prize?”

BBNaija’s Pere nominated for ‘Best Actor’ at 2021 BON Awards

Big Brother Naija ”Shine Ya Eye” housemate, Perez Egbi, also known as Pere, has been nominated for the 2021 Best of Nollywood Awards (BON).

Pere was nominated in the ‘Best Actor in a Leading Role’ category among other top Nollywood stars.

His nomination was announced via the BON Awards official Instagram page on Saturday for his lead role in a Biodun Stephen’s movie, ‘Butterflies’.

Other nominees in the same category include Stan Nze in ‘Rattlesnake’, Blossom Chukwujekwu in ‘Home Spring Eternal,’ Enyinna Nwigwe in ‘Badamosi’, Okey Uzoeshi in ‘Strain’, and Uzor Arukwe in ‘Yours Regardless.’

Pere is a former US military officer who served for six years before returning to Nigeria to become an actor.

He has been in the Nollywood scenes for years but recently gained prominence due to his participation in the ongoing Big Brother Naija season six.

#BBNaija: Hypocrites sleeping with other people’s wives are judging me – Boma

Former Big Brother Naija 2021 housemate, Boma Akpore, says that many of the people criticising him for his conduct with married ex-fellow housemate, Tega are being hypocritical.

He received heavy backlash over his intimate acts like kissing and ”aggressive cuddling” with Tega, who is a married mother of one.

Speaking in a live interview with The PUNCH, Boma stated that those judging him are hypocrites who sleep with other peoples wives.

Defending his actions with Tega, the Hollywood actor stated that what housemates did in the in the house was no different from what married actresses do on movie sets.

He said; “…Those actresses, are they not married with kids in their family? Don’t they kiss people on set? So, I feel people just want to be hypocrites.

“Even the people that are sleeping with other people’s wives are still talking.

“People were just projecting their anger. It’s like most people woke up and didn’t have a good day. With things practically rough with them, they wanted to take out their aggression or frustration on somebody.

“They all come on social media and start backlashing someone.”

On why he was singled out for criticisms, the Delta born model said it was because viewers didn’t see the things the other housemates did, especially during the ‘Truth Or Dare’ game, which had them touching one another’s private parts.

He made it clear everything that happened on the reality TV show was just part of the game, stressing that the only time he could be called out is if he had displayed the same conduct outside the show.

“If you saw me in a hotel with somebody’s wife, call me out.

“If I went to somebody’s house and I was with their girl or their girl came to my house, then call me out.

Big Brother Naija 2021 ex-housemate Princess has raised an alarm that her elder brother has threatened to kill her.

According to the evicted BBNaija housemate, her brother known as Wisdom, who never cared nor supported her, her siblings, and her mother, all of a sudden wants a favor from her.

The Imo-born taxi driver took to her Instagram page to state that her brother asked her to be the brand ambassador for his business but she declined this request and unfortunately resulted in a threat to her life.

Princess wrote; “Hello everyone my name is Princess Francis. I want to let Nigerians know that my life is in danger, my life has been threatened by Mr Wisdom my supposed elder brother, popularly known as Wisdom generator or dollarpoint. Fast forward to Two days ago he called me and asked me to be the brand ambassador for his business dollapoint, I told him that I am not interested.

This is coming from someone that never cared for me, my siblings and my mom, someone that said I will never amount to anything good. I confronted him about an issue that happened 13yrs ago and he threatened to kill me if I don’t come to his office before Friday. I am here to tell Nigerians that if anything happens to me, Wisdom should be held responsible.”

Big Brother Naija ”Lockdown” star and the pioneer of Aggressive Cuddling phrase has welcomed BBNaija ‘Shine Ye Eye” ex-housemates, Tega and Boma as the newest members of the the brand.

Boma and Tega, who have been evicted, received condemnation for often kissing and cuddling during the last weeks of their stay in the house.

A never-seen-before video of both of them cuddling aggressively under the sheets while still in the house recently surfaced online.

Ka3na who is participated in BBNaija 2020, took to her Twitter page to officially welcome the recently evicted duo, noting that no human is perfect.

According to her, it will become an annual practice where new members would be added to the brand.

Big Brother Naija ex-contestant, Tochi, has penned some words of advise to single ladies who ae well to do financially.

He advised them to stop their ultimate search for rich men to settle down with as there are average men who love love them deeply and be faithful.

Four more housemates were evicted from the ongoing Big Brother Naija reality show on Sunday.

The quartet – Tega, Peace, Michael, and Boma – left the house on Sunday evening at the end of the “King Size” eviction earlier announced by organisers of the show.

The housemates left the show after six weeks of fun, games, tasks, and, of course, mild controversy.

Tega, who addressed the housemates after her eviction, revealed how much she missed her husband despite the open displays of affection for Boma, who was also evicted from the show.

She said: “I miss my husband, my son, and my mum. I can’t even explain it.

When asked by the host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, if she would miss Boma, Tega added: “Yes, he is my friend.”

The duo were caught in bed together last week.

The housemate claimed that what she did with Boma in the house was just a strategy between them to entertain the show viewers.

Michael, who was with Jackie B throughout his stay in the house, was evicted after about two months.

He was brought into the house alongside Kayvee, Queen, and JMK two weeks after the show commenced.

Peace emerged the first runner-up in one of the house tasks.

This earned her N1.5 million and an all-expense-paid trip to One Africa Music Festival in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The husband to Big Brother Naija 2021 housemate, Tega, has opened up on his infidelity and how he almost ruined their marriage.

His revelation comes after Tega expressed her opinion on what would happen if her marriage crashes after the reality TV show.

She had said that if she leaves and her husband no longer wants to continue with the union, then she would accept her faith and enjoy the fame.

In a swift response, her husband issued a statement clarifying issues about their marriage.

In his words; “First of all, I Love My Wife so much. However, I will like to state that our marriage is not perfect just like many other marriages out there. We are two imperfect people. The past 24 hours has been hell for us as a family.

I have wronged my wife in so many ways but cheating on her was what broke the bond we had as a couple. Before you judge me, please note that I’m not perfect. I’m not the best husband as you all think I am. – I cheated on my wife in our matrimonial home. – I am not proud of this.

This mistake has caused so much damage in our marriage to the extent of her threatening to leave our once happy home. In my own little way, I have tried to make amends for everything I have done wrong. I have tried to support her dreams, to campaign and defend her and also to be a better man. But all these are done in her absence. She doesn’t deserve me. She deserves her happiness and peace of mind. And if she is doing or saying anything to spite me, it’s because I deserve it. Big Brother Naija 2021, Saga has come under heavy fire on social media for comparing other female housemates to bags of rice while complimenting his love interest, Nini.

The Engineer turned artist made the comment after the Friday night Jacuzzi party. He complimented Nini for her choice of bikini and showered her with praises.

Saga said that while the other female housemates looked like bags of rice and potatoes in their outfits, she (Nini) looked extremely gorgeous and left him drooling through out the party.

When I saw you in your bikini, my head wanted to burst, other girls looked like bags of rice and potatoes”, he said.

Liquorose has emerged the new Head of House (HoH) for this week in the Big Brother Naija, Shine Ya Eye house.

She was named the new HOH after winning the Head of House games on Monday, August 23, 2021.

Each housemate was given 70 seconds to finish the course of the board game, where they have to throw a dice.

The housemate who finishes the course, or goes the farthest, wins and becomes the Head of House.

Liquorose was able to go the farthest. As the new HoH, the privileges that come with it include; stay in the HoH lounge and immunity from eviction.

Six Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eyes housemates will be facing a possible eviction on Sunday, August 29.

The nominated housemates include Maria, Pere, JMK, Sammie, Queen and Cross.

Biggie revealed on Monday, August 23 that at least one of the nominated housemates will be leaving the competition on Sunday.

The current Head of House, Liquorose, whose real name is Roseline Omokhoa Afije, used her Veto power to replace Peace with Cross.

Interestingly, Liquorose had nominated both Peace and Cross for possible eviction.

Meanwhile, this is the first time Shine Ya Eyes wildcards, Maria and Pere will be facing an eviction scare, recall Maria recently concluded her tenure as the Head of House.

After the nomination announcement, Liquorose was instructed to nominate her deputy and the new HOH chose Saga. Saga in turn chose Nini as his partner with whom he will enjoy the luxuries of the HOH lounge.

Pere made this known while having a conversation with HoH Maria in the garden.

The former US soldier said he was first attracted to Jackie B when he got in the house before he started getting close to Maria.

EFCC breaks into BBNaija star, Dorathy’s house

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC) on Monday morning allegedly broke into the house of Big Brother Naija 2020 star, Dorathy Bachor.

Dorathy disclosed this on her Instagram story as she decried the sad incident.

The reality TV star, while narrating what ensued, lamented over how unsafe it is to be a Nigerian.

She wrote: “I feel like my head is about to explode.

At 4:35 I heard a loud bang and voices, I rushed out to see five armed EFCC men in my living room and one of them saying ‘Oh na that Big brother girl be this’.

“In my confused state I was trying to understand why they broke down my door. Then one of them said they were looking for someone who ran into the estate and I should lock my door and stay indoors and not say a word.

“I’m shaking at this point and so confused because at what point is this Okay.

“What is the need of being a citizen of this country when I can’t feel safe in my own house.”

A former Big Brother Naija housemate, Gbolahan Oladele aka KayVee, has explained why he withdrew from the ongoing reality TV show.

KayVee withdrew from the show on Monday following advice from medical practitioners who visited him in the House.

His fellow housemates drew the attention of Big Brother to their colleague after they noticed that he was exhibiting some ”weird behaviours.”

In a statement posted on his Instagram page on Wednesday night, KayVee said he wanted to stay on the show till the end but certain events worsened his anxiety in the house and this affected his concentration.

The housemate said he is currently receiving attention in a medical facility.

#BBNaija: Instagram verifies Kayvee’s account less than a day after his voluntary exit

Former housemate of Big Brother Naija ‘Shine Ya Eye’ season, Gbolahan Ololade better known as Kayvee’s has been verified on Instagram.

The photographer and videographer voluntarily exited the show on Monday, August 16 due to medical reasons.

Kayvee’s Instagram account handler, announced the verification on Tuesday, while updating fans on his health.

The IG post reads; ”..Thank y’all for the love, calls, prayers, we’re sincerely grateful.
