Big Brother Naija ”Lockdown” star, Rebecca ”Nengi” Hampson has added another award to her cabinet, and it’s courtesy of the African Youth Awards 2021.
Nengi was named winner of the “Most Famous Celebrity” award at this year’s edition of the show.
The organisers, African Youth Awards made the announcement via its official Twitter account.
The Bayelsa born ex-beauty queen beat her fellow ex-BBNaija co-contestant and actress, Erica Nlewedim to clinch the award.
Other nominees included; South Africa’s Boity, Ghanaian actress, Efia Odo, Wema Sepetu, Natasha Donna and Lydiam Jazmine.
In April, fans had been asked to vote for their favourite celebrity nominees and after the votes had been collated, Nengi emerged the winner.
