Ghanaian actor cum politician, John Dumelo, has mocked the Nigerian national men’s football over his failure to defeat Ghana in the 2022 world qualifiers match on Friday.
The match between Nigeria’s Super Eagles and Black Stars of Ghana ended in a goalless draw in the first leg of their World Cup playoff in Kumasi.
Recall that before the match commenced, he had vowed to trek barefooted from Accra, Ghana to Lagos, Nigeria if the Nigerian team won.
Reacting moments after the game ended in a draw, Dumelo, in a post on his Instagram page mocked Nigeria’s team by rephrasing its nickname from Super Eagles to Super Chickens.
He stated that he was very confident in his believe that the Eguavoen-led team would not win the match.
“Dear super chickens, I was very confident you won’t win this game,” the actor wrote.
